Demo up in PlayStation Store

The driver demo is a good start to show some of the parts of the new game =) cant wait for the full release going to be awesome!

I played the demo yesterday. This game is very disappointing, as I had expected.

The cars handle like containers, I could hardly turn left or right. The handbrake sucks. Also there's too much traffic, which makes it very frustrating to lose the cops.
The graphics look very outdated, except during the cutscenes where they really look good, but as soon as you start playing it's back to ps2 graphics again.
Again muscle cars, afrohair and seventies music Are these developers a bunch of old Woodstock hippies or something? It's the 21st century, so upgrade your damn music already.
Then there's the new element: shifting, which is utterly useless. I managed to finish 1st and 2nd in that race, but really, every time you shift to the other car the car you just left immediately falls back again

They'd better just pull the plug out of this series, because it just doesn't fit this generation of games anymore.

What do you want, dubstep? Black Eyed Peas? Bieber? A lot of modern music is garbage. There is some good stuff out there, but there is NOTHING wrong with sticking with the old classics that have stood the test of time. Back off seventies music.

If you want to hate on afros though, go ahead.

I'm not terrible at this kind of games. I have played Driv3r and Driver Parallel Lines, and I'm an experienced GTA player. You must admit that the car handling is terrible in this demo.

I did not say I have anything against seventies music. The music was pretty good in Parallel Lines, but now it seems to be exactly the same kind of music. I just finished NfS Hot Pursuit and that game has some very good present-day techno and rock music. I just think they should not stick to the same music over and over again.
