After reading this post on GameFAQs you might want to try checking back in a few "days." It was there immediately for me, but this might not always be the case.

I think you are right though, and it makes complete sense based on the whole story line... I tried to go against a Drake and everyone got knocked down again. Every time this happens, I am totally kicking his ass, and makes me a sad panda.



Good stuff, had the same feeling after defeating a Drake for the first time. Hopefully you got something Dragon Forged.

I did actually, arm bracers... I didn't even know you could get that Dragonforged trophy until it popped when I beat him. I went back after I hit level 38 and buffed up my pawns. I killed the Drake in about 15 minutes this time.

If you left the Witch Wood are completely, then it should appear there when you enter again. Otherwise, might as well, go rest a few times at the inn and come back as suggested.

Great, thanks! By the way, I figure this might help.. I noticed you put "Deeper Trouble" quest under "After Completing the 2nd Set of Tasks for the Duke." but I don't think that's the case. I completed Deeper Trouble quest back when I haven't even met the Duke (went back to Casardis and got called by that dude in the well right away). Might be different timing for different people, not sure what could exactly trigger this quest.

Same here, I went back to Cassardis and could do the quest before meeting the Duke. Also, the "Nameless Terror" quest was given to me before meeting the Duke as well.

Same here. I think it is just important to go back to these places after each set of quests to see even if the notice board is updated.

From what I had initially read, it sounded like it was made available a certain amount of time after completing "Deep Trouble." I'm going with the assumption that this was referring to in-game days, so I put it there to be safe. After reading a few threads over at GameFAQs of people having trouble starting the quest, I decided to put it later in the "roadmap," simply to give the best chance of it actually being there when people return.

Here's an odd one... I walked in to Madelaine's already open shop in Gran Soren, initiated conversation, and The Patron trophy pops. I've never given her a dime or done a single thing for her. She was just, there.

Same for me. I went over to the Black Cat, then decided to take a look into what was supposed to be the Abandoned House. And there she was, open shop and Patron trophy popped. I never did any quests for her.
The only thing I did different that playthrough was complete the Chasing Shadows quest which shows her seemingly getting into something illegal. So maybe finishing that quest is the only thing that has to do with her opening shop.

Hell, I hadn't even escorted her from Cassardis to the encampment to lend her money... didn't even know about that until my 3rd playthrough.

If it's taking you 15min to kill a Drake at that level, try upgrading your weapons and buying better ones. Only took me about 3min to kill Drakes around that level.

Several of these are required after prior ones are complete, why the list is so high. Hopefully I'll be able to get the trophy during my second playthrough. Definitely think it's BS tho with how careful I've been to make sure I missed nothing.
