Default I have stop playing this game

Let me explain. I am in act 2 and about 40% done with the quests best guess. I accidentally trigger the final battle which is called the point of no return and hence all other quests are removed.

My guess is that I will miss out on trophies and important items if I move on to act 3.

1.
Can act 2 be repeated after the conclusion of act 3 and beating the game? Do you need to start a new play thru to get act 2 again?

2.
Or should I go back to an earlier save and avoid the trigger point, so I can do all quests in act 2?

you have to play through almost a complete second time to change sides between either the templars or mages, whichever on you didnt pick in this playthrough.

So my advice would be just finish this playthrough and then get all the trophies from act 2 in next run

Sansamb is right, to get the trophy for siding with the opposite faction 5 times you have to get to act 3 anyways so just keep playing.

You should always make numerous saves in rpgs, especially ones with multiple options or choices that alter later play/trophies, I presume you just had the one save? Platinum requires two playthroughs anyway unless you're using your DA:O save. You'll probably need to play through Act 3 again for certain collection trophies, but you could probably get away with not having to play through the whole final act again if you do as many of the trophies as you can now. I guess you'll know better for next time now

You will miss out on a crap load of trophies, but unless you loaded an Origins save file(which judging by your player card you have not) you'll have to play through the game a second time anyway.

I'm in aggreance with sansamb, continue your play through but just have fun with it. Be a dick to everyone and go for your rival trophy, or maybe Got Your Back if you got someones upgrades early on as well as chosing a side, be it mages or templars.

HINT: If you side with the mage's keep Fenris in your party to gain rivalry

Since he said, "Or should I go back to an earlier save and avoid the trigger point, so I can do all quests in act 2?" I assume he does have multiple earlier saves.

Thank you everyone .

Correct I do save a lot in this game, so I can go back to almost any spot. I have off loaded act 1 saves to USB and every time the slots get full I off load them to make more room.

Also the difficulty of the final act 2 battle increase like a lot. However I am not very good at the controlling of the team mates.

I did figure that I would use pass one as a learning and then later try to correct my mistakes.

I also only had a partial save from DA:O which it allowed to import, will it help no idea. As the import screen saves something like this "some of your data will be only used like character back story etc" I forget the exact popup message.

Note: I do have the official guide however I am only referring to start of the guide which does not contain as much spoiler details, and only if I get stuck and need to retry a battle, or can't find something that is part of that quest.

Ok I will press on and will play smarter next time.

===
I am now stuck at this place and at first I thought I found a glitch but it was not.

See if you can find Hawke

If you do save a lot like you say, I don't understand the point of this thread. Reload or continue. Not a difficult decision.

I think the DA:O files make it easier to get some trophies as it may count as one play through. Also it makes your character take on the qualities of the one you played , also it imports your history/family details as well if not mistaken. This last part was what happen with mine as I only have a uncompleted save (never finished DA:O)
