Silently Silencing the Silence

Outwit the Silence without being checkpointed

Do you guys have tips for this trophy?
One guide says to run, the other go slow and both methods won't work for me?
Tried dozens of times but can't seem to get this right?

Really could use some help

From what I remember, the game makes a sound when the Silence fall out of your sight, so listen out for that. Luckily you have a little bit of time as they fade out to correct things.

I pretty much walk just behind a Silent until I see another one and then I'll follow that one to progress, so I guess that's the "go slow" method. If you hear the noise though try facing the other way and back quickly as you'll see the Silents around and maybe there's a better one you can aim for, generally there will be 2 around.

I got this on my second play of this level without realising that it was a trophy. It just seemed a quicker way to complete the level.

I just figured out that when using the Sonic Screwdriver they won't dissappear if you point it in their direction.
With this knowledge it's very easy

Yes, I found the Screwdriver technique to be the most useful as well; the Silence will fade out of sight whenever you look away from them, so you need to make sure you're always facing at least one, but if you're trying to follow a particular one then it can be difficult because River will turn every time you move in a different direction. However, if you just keep the Screwdriver pointed at a Silent, then you'll be able to move around without turning away from it.
