That is the most ridiculous advice Ive ever heard, fatm1ke3 Dont go wrecking people, its a disease that spreads, if you aint good enough to get the holeshot and stay out ahead of the wreckers then go play offline.

Start one second after the rest of the pack and you'll be in the top 3 very quickly. I always used that strategy and watched as most of the pack wiped themselves out while I drove past the carnage.

That's BULL man it's a CONTACT SPORT!!! It aint cheating and it ain't no disease, it happens in all online racing and dirt2 is the feking worst (or best depending which side of the fence your on;-)

Bloody 'ell, i come on here for tips to level up and i find a great big arguement. Lol. People are annoyong when they smash you into walls, hell, i was trying to do an online rallycross and some prick kept spinning me. I got sick of it and since then I always do the timebomb mode.

Go watch some real rally racing, and tell me, do they crash each other off the road on purpose? Let me answer that for you. They don't. 'Sure, they may have an incident, or draft close to each other, but they don't go T-boning each other off the course. If they try slamming each other of the tarmac, they'll be penalized, no doubt about it. It's not a "Contact sport"

I'm pretty good at racing games (RACING, not crashing), and I often take the lead in regular car racing games. So I go in a lobby, and I win the race. The others just crash each other, while one or two of them does a decent job in giving me some competition. After I've got a high finishing position a few times, they start saying on the com "Hey guys, kill this Cruore fuck, he's trying to beat us!" And so, as soon as the race starts, EVERY SINGLE vehicle in the race goes straight at me, slamming me into the wall before I can get up to speed. This has happened several times, once they wrecked me so bad my car was demolished before I could even cross the starting line. Now tell me, would you find that fun?!

Do you even understand what contact sport means????

Let me break it down for you, I can make contact will my oppenent as much as i want and it's not illegal, cheating or even bad sportsmanship. If you can't hack it then go play NON-CONTACT races.

Jeeezzuz, when a rugby player gets tackled in a rugby game does the game stop and the referee award a foul to the other team??? No course he fucking doesn't because it's a CONTACT sport.

When you choose to play a game of skirmish, look above where it says skirmish and you'll see something in writing that says CONTACT, you choose to play the other one and you'll see where it says NON CONTACT.

Choose carefully because I'd hate to see you end up in a CONTACT race and other players are......drum roll please..........MAKING CONTACT WITH YOU!!!!!

The only problem with time bomb is, that whenever you get someone beyond level 50, it get's pretty hard to win a race. Try racing with players below level 30.

As to that big discussion that was raging on up there: just have a look at formula 1 or dtm or whatever - every time someone nudges another car off the track, you can be certain he or she is gonna get a penalty. Racing is not full contact - Demolition Derby is full contact, and the results are pretty clear for everyone to see
