Kill Digger and 4 monsters with a single fire bomb napalm in Arcade mode or in Co-op Arcade mode i have tried, and tried, and tried, and tried, and tried... ahh, you get the idea...lol...seriously though, how have you guys gotten this trophy?? and what is the true definition of getting this trophy?? i have seen multiple descriptions like (1) kill yourself and 4 enemies with the bombs NAPALM ONLY and (2) kill yourself and 4 enemies with a bomb, whether by crushing, or napalm. please, and helpful advice would be greatly appreciated! |

This is how a lot of us got this trophy.
![]() "We need a Sacrifice" - Bronze Trophy (Secret Trophy)Kill Digger and 4 monsters with a single fire bomb napalm in Arcade mode or in Co-op Arcade mode For this trophy you need to kill 4 monsters and a Digger with napalm (fire) at once. Crushing any of the enemies or the Digger will NOT count; you must kill all 5 with the napalm! Start a Co-op game. You do not need a second player to do this, just two controllers. Go to level 35 and move the player 1 Digger as shown below. Let the player 2 digger stay in the spawn spot. If player 2 dies you can still get the trophy as long as it spawns and is not invincible when the napalm hits. This may take a few times, because the enemies' behavior is erratic and you may need to stop moving your Digger occasionally to get the enemies in position. Keep resetting and use the directions as shown in the image below until you get it. Like I said, it may take multiple tries so keep trying.

Sorry man, that's the only way I know to do it.
I'd say just keep trying this way, but vary your path. Pause at different spots for different amounts of time and with some luck, you'll get it. If my memory serves me correctly, a lot of people were trying to get this trophy, and the only way anyone (or at least a huge majority) accomplished it was by the method above. Good luck!

Don't feel bad bro, I've tried this 25 times and this strat is just not working. I don't want to crush anyones balls but maybe it does work but there's significant info missing to make it work.
I really don't see how you could possibly due this with the screenshot above WITHOUT crushing some of the monsters as the napalm bomb area isn't that large in that configuration. It's obvious crushing monsters doesn't count (at least not on my version) for this. If anyone can post more screenshots of this in action and or a quick video, it would be greatly appreciated! |

Alright...I just did it...I'm telling you venting is +1 skills.
Anyway: - DO NOT MOVE PLAYER 2, EVER. This is stated in the guide already, but don't get confused by the drawing...you loop player 1 around player 2. - I let player 2 die once. - Bump the bomb over but don't let it drop, get setup for a "quick" drop. - There's a luck/chance point on the two green guys and the blue guy that will be at the main intersection...if they morph and go down, push the bomb ASAP...you "should" get all 4 + your co-op buddy for the win. - The luck part is whether the morphed mobs path correctly. Hope this helps anyone else who is struggling with this. |

I just got this trophy and ended up using a slightly different strategy. Sorry, I don't have a handy screenshot, so hopefully I can explain it.
From player 1's starting position, move: - 3 spaces right - 1 space up - 3 spaces left (you should now be one column to the left of the shaft running vertically up the middle of the level) - 7 spaces up (you should now be one row above the bomb) - 5 spaces left - 1 space down (you should now be in the space directly to the left of the bomb) - now just push the bomb to the right and down the shaft you just created as soon as you see an opening. What this does is creates a separate channel for the bomb to fall down, decreasing the chances that you'll catch an enemy with it before it explodes. I also waited with the bomb right on the edge and let the player 2 tank die twice before I saw my opening (basically what I'm saying is that you've actually got a decent amount of time to wait for a good opening). I only had one enemy follow me up my path and I quickly dispatched him with my shot. The rest of the enemies were more interested in player 2. It only took me 3 or 4 tries to pop the trophy using this strategy. Hope it helps. Last edited by CobraCommandrew; 02-06-2011 at 11:02 PM. |
