Keep the faith bro!

I am able to get to level 7 in vintage mode consistently now but that level just completely owns me...basically if you die you are toast since ALL of the enemies spawn upon your next life and you'll likely be down multiple money bags when you die. I've gotten close (like 5 gems left) on level 7 but just have not beaten it yet. Wish there were more tips/strategies out there.

I really enjoy this game though...kind of like dig dug on steroids.

Old schooler might cost me a controller or if I'm unlucky, a broken TV and/or other things. Solid 10.

This game was fun but it isn't worth a busted controller, let alone a busted tv!

Lately, I've been making an effort to not care so much about getting to 100%. Trophies are only a good thing insofar as they ENHANCE your enjoyment of a game. If you get to the point where you are hating every minute of it (not saying you're there yet, but sounds like you're getting close), I suggest taking a step back and asking yourself if it is really worth it.

I have so many games piled up that I haven't finished or even started yet, that spending another 6 hours of frustration trying unlock the last trophy in Digger HD just doesn't seem all that important. 90% is nothing to scoff at, after all.

I've gotten 8 gems away on level 8...If I could enter that level with a full compliment of guys I would have it already. It's fun, in a pull your hair out and scream at the top of your lungs kind of way

I don't even think more than 150 people worldwide have this trophy yet (can pull an exact # off of scoreboards later). I'm determined to be one of the few, the proud, the heart diseased with this trophy!

Finally got the trophy...got through the 1st 7 levels without losing a life and getting 40k points for 2 extra lives...burned a life or 2 clearing level 8 in a conservative fashion...ding!

Your 6 hour estimate was probably accurate for total time invested in this trophy, but very happy to have the 100%

Nice! I congratulate your determination! I've got kids now so I'm not allowed to have fun in a "pull your hair out and scream at the top of your lungs kind of way" any more. Unless I want to sleep on the couch, that is. I've got to pick my trophy battles carefully these days.

ha! i definitely know your pain on this one...lol...i have a 1+ yr old daughter, and a son on the way, so the wife gets a little testy if i start getting frustrated with a game.. i tend to play at night when they're all asleep...lol...

Sigh.......... Just finished the old schooler and now 100%. What an experience.

Have been practicing more than 10 hours just for Endurant, then another 10 hours just for old schooler. I didn't know the backup save method. For those who want to 100% this game, keep on trying, don't give up.

For the Endurant trophy, learn the map in Arcade mode first, that would really help. And for old schooler, practice not dying in the first seven level, if you can get into level 8 with 3~4 lifes, you should be fine, the trophy is yours.

Just because of the Endurant and Old schooler, this game deserves a 9.

this game requires basic skill and pure luck. more luck than skill. but thats how all the games from creat are...

Old Schooler is currently the bane of my existence on this game. I was working on it early on, and got so irritated that I quit playing completely for a while. Maybe I'll pick it back up after work this week and at least polish off the rest of the trophies even if that one continues to elude me.
