Do you mean DT Flux, the damage during transformation? Yes and no, if you are using Super Dante/Vergil, you lose all DT (except first 3 runes) during Flux.

If you are using Super Dante/Corrupted Vergil though, you can do anything you want, you will never run out of DT. But of course if you want to use DT Flux, you have to activate/deactivate and charge DT each time.

Assuming you want to inflict maximum damage of course. Either costumes will grant you infinite DT Flux but damage will be minimal if you don't charge it.

Almost done with my Dante Must Die playhthrough! Had to do it with Vergil since my Dante playthrough was done with Yellow Orb and it was annoying having to restart from the beginning. I really want that Corrupted Vergil outfit though. Guess that should help with getting S ranks on all the missions. I've watched videos of people getting SS on DMD and it's just crazy. I try my best to get through without getting hit but it feels damn near impossible.

I'm playing thru the game again as Vergil, and I'm currently on Hard mode (working up to DMD). I want that Nelo Angelo special suit

But anyway, a good way to finish off Nevan really fast is use Judgement Cut level 2. Start off by holding down L1 to charge up DT Flux, walk up to her and let her do her spin move (when she says Get Ready). Right when she is about to finish, do Judgement Cut. It'll kill all the bats and knock her to the ground and raise the Stylish meter to Sweet in one shot. Then start hitting her with Beowulf and DT Flux. On Hard mode it took about half her health away and gives you SSStylish right from the start.

don't play H or H to get The Path Less Travelled trophy "Clear every mission in Yellow Orb Mode"i did this but i don't get this trophy .

Just need to finish the Very Hard difficulty and the sweet platinum trophy is all mine.

Does anybody know if "time" stops during cutscenes?
or does it count against the player?

Cutscenes don't affect your "Time" for ranking. You don't have to skip them if you don't want to.

I'm on my first playthrough after years from playing this on the PS2 and this is a great guide, the blue orb locations guide is very helpful
