Platinum Difficulty Rating

Totally forgot to vote. Gave it a 9 because the game rly rly rly f***** me.
Took a very long time for me to understand how everything works and how to act to stay alive. I guess playing a melee class in Demon's Souls is the way to go if you want the game to screw you over and over.
Also this game gets a lot easier after you have all spells, miracles and weapons.
I'm really sad right now that I don't have it anymore... maybe I'll get the EU version

Gave this a 6. It "feels" more difficult than that, but when I think about the game, it's easy enough when you have the right weapons and equipment. Everything is based on stats. Without a guide, though, I would never have gotten the plat.

This game was very rewarding.

I've heard that NG++ (and beyond) is easier than NG+ and I don't find NG+ so hard, so I think I can rate this. The trophies are very straightforward. The only annoying thing is to farm those upgrade stones, but that's not really hard, just boring as grinding usually is.

I gave the game an 8/10 because if you don't know what you are doing this game can be extremely frustrating, confusing and difficult. Once you get past your first playthrough and NG+ I would rate it a 6/10. Of course, I only played in Online mode so this might bias me toward a more difficult experience (invading phantoms, reset world tendency). That, and it took me 4 play throughs to get the plat.

This is difficult to answer because as the way the trophies are they are not so much hard to get as a lot is based on luck -- specifically trying to land the pure Bladestone or pure Darkmoonstone, or more annoying chunks like Cloudstone and Marrowstone.

For the trophies like that, I would give them a 9 because you can wind up playing a loooooooong time for something that looks so simple.

For the boss related trophies, once you understand a bosses strategy, not to mention the gist of the gameplay and learn to master and upgrade your character, those trophies are really not that difficult. Granted some of the bosses will easily give you a headache, but its like any boss in any game, once you know the right tactics it's a cinch.

So I would give the main boss ones a 6, at least on first playthrough. Flamelurker on NG+ is a real prick, as is both False King and sometimes Maneater (at least for me)

I guess overall for me, I would give it a 7.

Interesting that I did not have to spend a lot of time farming stones at all, maybe I was lucky.

I gave it a 8, because I found some of the bosses very challenging on my 1st playthrough, could only managed to beat them with a long bow plus 400+ arrows (total cheap shot)..haha

Overall, definitely one of the best games

I'd say 8. I only got to NG+ before I gave the game back to my friend whom I borrowed it from so I didn't get to finish. There was stilla lot to do about 3/4 through my second playthrough.

I'm wary of buying the game unless I can find it for $20 or so to try again.

I gave it an 8,the trophys arent terribly hard but most of them are luck based and the game itself is damm unforgiving, meaning that having to go to new game ++ at least (or +++ if you dont use the upgrading weapon glitch) to get everything you need is not a walk in the park

i gave it a 8.. in the beginning its pretty hard to figure everything out but after you did, it gets really fun and satisfying, this is an awesome game and i just platinumed it! ^^
