Default Basic Guide to Demon's Souls

Basic Guide to Demon's Souls
by MMDE

Introduction
Demon's Souls is a complicated game, especially for new players. This guide will serve as a quick guide to get into the game, and will contain all the information you will need to play and get the early in your second playthrough so that you can play and enjoy the game without having to worry about doing something "wrong". If you follow the simple playthrough steps and listen to the warnings you will not miss anything "miss-able". There is a lot of extra information to answer common questions and help you with everything that usually might be problematic, and there is also a short checklist for people who has played the game before. I recommend that new players at least read the entire first post and the text marked in red in the second post along with all the links found in said text areas. This guide will also be possible to follow when the servers goes down in sometime in the future, because it's all based on playing offline.

Start
  • Class:
    • What class you pick doesn't really matter, everyone can do everything, even magic, because you decide what stats you want higher when you level up. If you want to play Demon's Souls online serious, then you are better off making a new character after you've completed the game, and no it won't be a lot of extra work, hardly any at all.
    • Recommended classes: Royal (mage), Temple Knight (melee)
  • Leveling:
    • In this game you level up by talking to the Maiden in Black after killing Phalanx (first boss, not counting the one you're supposed to die against in the tutorial level), she will let you choose a stat to improve for a price in souls. This basically means you can create your character however you like, no matter what class you started out with. The price to upgrade increase exponentially by each time you level up. You also improve less the higher you level up a stat, see the information link under for details.
    • All equipment has stat requirements, weapons usually require strength or dexterity. Armor usually weight a lot, and if you carry too heavy it will affect your rolling. I recommend keeping the weight load at under 50% or even better under 25%.
    • Many weapons got stat bonus, meaning there is one or more letters in the weapon stat screen and depending on which letter it is and where it is located it scales the weapon to do more damage depending on your stats.
    • For more information about stats, read HERE.
    • Some tips:
      • Don't level up luck (unless you are going for a Blueblood Sword build)
      • Don't go above 40 endurance, but 40 is recommended.

Warnings
  • Upgrade to latest patch!! This is very important, because the World Tendency seems to act differently (in a bad way) for some without patches. You can still use the duplication glitch.
  • Don't damage or kill any NPCs in any way, unless you are absolutely certain that is what you should do.
  • There is a NPC, Yurt, the Silent Chief, in level 3-2 which you should kill the first time you meet him, because else he will start killing NPCs in Nexus, and you don't want that to happen.
  • There is a NPC, Ostrava, of Boletaria, in world 1 that wants you to help him in every level of world 1. I recommend helping him, because he will reward you with great items, but if he dies, make sure you pick up the key he drops. If you for some reason fail to pick up the key, then you can always kill him in the 2nd playthrough and use the key then. It's not a lot of extra work, because you will need to beat 1-1 again in the 2nd playthrough anyways. He also give you a very rare stone for helping him in 1-3.
  • There is a NPC, Satsuki, who with PWWT in world 4 will ask you to bring him the Magic Sword "Makoto". Don't bring it to him, don't even have it in your inventory while you are in level 4-1.
  • Don't carry with you too much in your inventory, because if you try to pick up something and your inventory is too heavy with it to carry, you must leave it behind or drop something else to pick it up. It won't be there the next time you enter the world, and if it's some rare weapon or a ring it might affect your chances of getting some of the trophies in the first playthrough. (A workaround is located in the FAQ section).
  • Avoid crystal lizards as often as you can, but if you can't, you should make sure you kill them, because they spawn a limited amount of times per playthrough. Wait until the part where you got PBWT to kill them for rare stones and you don't really need to kill them before you are trying to get all upgrade trophies. You can use the PS+ save feature to take a backup of your save before killing the lizards, which will allow you to load back (24 hours later) if they don't drop what you want. (See the Rare Stones section for tips). Most importantly is it to get Pure Moonlightstone and Pure Darkmoonstone from the lizards, because that's the only way.
  • Duplicate your boss souls and pure stones before you use them, because you may need them for more than one thing to get the .

1st Playthrough
  1. Recommended order to do the levels:
    1-1, 1-2, 2-1, 2-2, 2-3, 4-1, 4-2, 4-3, 3-1, 3-2, 3-3, 5-1, 1-3, 5-2, 5-3, 1-4
(don't finish 1-4 before you want to end your current playthrough).
  2. What to do in every world:
    1. Get PWWT and everything you need that unlocks from doing so. (Must read information about Pure White World Tendency). (Play offline and in soul form).
    2. Get PBWT and kill the Black Phantom NPC the "correct" way for lighter CT (Character Tendency). You should also kill a Primeval Demon for a Colorless Demon's Soul and to be able to learn the Recovery Miracle.
  3. After the above in every world:
    1. You should now have PWCT, and with PWCT you can now go talk to the monk in Nexus and get Friend's Ring.
  4. The things to do now without finishing 1-4 (don't continue in 1-4 after killing Black Phantom Ostrava):
    1. Kill Blue Dragon in 1-4.
    2. Get Mausoleum Key from Ostrava in 1-4, go back to 1-1 and kill Old King Doran.
    3. Get all weapons needed for Soldier's Trophy, except for Northern Regalia.
    4. Get all rings, except for Foe's Ring.
    5. Learn all magic and miracles, except for Soulsucker, remember you can duplicate boss souls.
    6. Get all upgrade trophies, remember you can duplicate stones and crystal lizards drop rare stones more often with PBWT.
  5. The very last things to do before finishing 1-4:
    1. Kill enough NPCs or invade other players world to get PBCT (don't kill Yuria).
    2. Help Mephistopheles to get Foe's Ring, don't hit her before you get it, and make sure you don't kill Yuria before she asks you to do so.
    3. You may want to read HERE to make sure you haven't forgotten anything.
  6. Finish 1-4. Kill last boss, and don't kill Maiden in Black, but pick up the sword after the last boss.
  7. After picking up the sword in the boss location, use Nexial Binding to get back to Nexus, and go to 2-1 create the weapon Northern Regalia.

2nd Playthrough
  1. Rescue Yuria and learn Soulsucker.

Checklist for advanced players to get in 1.15 playthroughs
  • Play offline.
  • Always play in soul form, whenever in body form die in Nexus.
  • Duplicate all boss souls.
  • Duplicate all stones.
  • Recommended order to do the levels:
    1-1, 1-2, 2-1, 2-2, 2-3, 4-1, 4-2, 4-3, 3-1, 3-2, 3-3, 5-1, 1-3, 5-2, 5-3, 1-4
(don't finish 1-4 before you want to end your current playthrough).
  • Tendency order: PWWT, PBWT, PWCT, PBCT.
  • Item checklist

Information
This is extra information which you may want to read, and may skip except for the PWWT part.
  • Duplication offline, essential to get in 1.15 playthrough. You should duplicate all stones and boss souls. Learn how to do it HERE
  • Soul form is the state you will be in most of the time. While in Soul form you will just have half your health unless you wear the Cling Ring. You will become this form whenever you die and stay this way until you've killed a boss or successfully invaded and killed another player. To safely become soul form without affecting WT, suicide yourself in Nexus by dropping to death from the stairs.
  • Body form, when in body form, you have full health, you can get help from other players online through blue eye stones or get invaded by some other player online who wants to steal your body. Whenever you die, you become soul form, and if you are in a world that world's tendency goes darker.
  • Demon's Souls consists of 5 worlds and Nexus.
  • Each world has it's own tendency called World Tendency (WT), and you can read about it HERE.
  • Pure White World Tendency (PWWT), you should read about how to obtain PWWT in the link above about WT, but there are two important things you should know when trying to obtain PWWT:
    1. Don't play online, the servers might affect your WT and you may not be able to get PWWT in your first playthrough, so play offline until PWWT is out of the way.
    2. Don't play in body form, whenever you die in a world in body form that world's tendency becomes darker, so always play in soul form, and whenever you beat a boss and become body form just die in Nexus.
  • PWWT events can you read about HERE.
  • Most important PWWT event is that every world has a weapon that is only obtainable with PWWT and that you need for the Soldier's Trophy, but there is also a key in 3-2 and a NPC in 5-3 that is very important.
  • Pure Black World Tendency (PBWT), you should read about how to obtain PBWT in the link about WT.
  • PBWT events can you read about HERE.
  • Character Tendency can you read about HERE.
  • Pure White Character Tendency (PWCT), is something you can obtain in several ways, but the easiest and only offline way is to kill Black Phantom NPCs correctly.
  • Black Phantom NPCs, there are 5 of them, one in each world, and they won't respawn before next playthrough if you kill them.
  • The correct way to kill Black Phantom NPCs are to not let them die from:
    1. falling to death.
    2. damage from the magic spells: Soulsucker, Poison Cloud or Death cloud.
  • Pure Black Character Tendency (PBCT), is something you can obtain in many ways, I recommend invading other players and kill NPCs.
  • Blacksmith Ed is an important blacksmith located near the beginning of 2-1. He can create rare weapons. He can upgrade your weapons with special upgrade paths needed for several trophies, but only if you give him Red Hot Demon's Soul and have beat Flamelurker (2-2 boss) in your current playthrough.
  • Old King Doran is a pretty strong NPC you need to kill for one of the trophies.
  • There are 3 characters that you need to "unlock" to learn all magic and miracles:
    1. Sage Freke, the Visionary
    2. Yuria, the Witch
    3. Saint Urbain
  • Soldier's Trophy, there is a list of all weapons needed HERE.
  • Rogue's Trophy, there is a list of all rings needed HERE.
  • Sage's Trophy and Saint's Trophy, there is a list of all spells needed HERE.
  • Online features in the game can be read about HERE
  • Crystal lizards spawn only a limited amount of times (1 + the amount of bosses killed in that world), so be careful when going for them, as they are known to be suicidal and they will dig a hole to escape you if you trap them up against a wall. They usually drop rare stones, and you should kill them with PBWT to increase the chance of them dropping the rarest stones.
  • Hyper Mode is what it's called when you are wearing Clever Rat's Ring and holding Morion Blade with less than 30% health for a huge boost in damage you can inflict with normal attacks. It is recommended to hold Magic Sword "Makoto" to drop to 30% health. Very effective when you want to use bows.

FAQ
Common questions and answers.
  • Q: When do the next playthrough start?
  • A: After you kill every world's bosses, you will no longer be able to use Maiden in Black. She will then only take you to the very last boss of the game. Kill the last boss and leave the place, and the new playthrough will start, and you will have to kill Phalanx again to be able to level up etc again.
  • Q: What is the "correct" way to kill a Black Phantom so it affects my CT? Do I need to be in body form when I kill a Black Phantom?
  • A: The "correct" way to kill a Black Phantom so it makes your CT lighter is to make sure the killing damage is not done from by a drop or by any of the three spells Soulsucker, Poison Cloud and Death Cloud. You don't need to be in body form when you kill them, but if you want to get invaded by other players online, you will need to be in body form.
  • Q: How much harder is NG+?
  • A: In NG+ creatures' and bosses' stats gets boosted by 40%, but it shouldn't make the game a lot harder if you learned in NG how to not get hit. It's not like there are more creatures or they have new attacks, so it's not that much harder.
  • Q: How do I pause the game?
  • A: There is no in-game pause menu that will pause the creatures etc, this is because of the online features. The good news is that you can press start then quit the game, and when you load the save the next time you will be at the same location and with all the creatures you had killed in that world dead. The creatures that aren't dead will have full health again when you re-load the save, but this is an effective pause solution that even let you turn off your console to return to the game much later.
  • Q: I've already played for a while before I found this guide, should I start a new character?
  • A: You don't really need to start a new character, but it might be easier and faster. There is no reason to start a new character if you are able to get PWWT and PWCT in your current playthrough. You may also ask in this thread for the best solution, and I will try to assist.
  • Q: You say I should not be playing online when going for the , but when can I start playing online?
  • A: After you've gotten everything you need from PWWT in all worlds you can play online, but stay away from world 3 and invading other players. Once you've got the Friend's Ring, you can do pretty much whatever you want online.
  • Q: I'm currently carrying too much, but I need to pick up this item to get a trophy. I know it will disappear if I go to Nexus, and I don't want to leave behind anything else I carry. What do I do?
  • A: You will have to leave something behind, but the good thing is, the weapons and rings you need for the trophies, you only need to have had them in your inventory for some few seconds at some point. You don't need to have them all at the same time. Drop some of the items you are currently carrying in your inventory and pick up the item. After it has saved (small icon in upper right corner) you've picked it up, you can drop it again and take with you whatever you want to take with you.

Rare stones
Remember you only need one of every stone, because you can duplicate them.
  • Pure Bladestone:
This is probably the most annoying stone to get, and it requires you to have PBWT and only drops from two Black Skeletons in the entire game with a very low drop rate, said to be around 0.5%.
    • Recommended equipment:
      • R1: Weapon of your choice, maybe one that you can apply (Black) Turpentine to.
      • R2: Talisman (important)
      • L1: Shield
      • L2: Bow (important)
      • Spells: Evacuate (important), Ignite, Second Chance (not important)
    • How to:
      1. Must have PBWT in world 4, so get that and play offline so the servers won't affect your WT.
      2. Warp to 4-2 from Nexus, and run down to the room under and quickly shoot the reaper with your bow (1 or 2 hits to kill it)
      3. Run over to where the reaper was and drop down (to lose less health)
      4. Run up the stairs on the left side (left side of where you entered the room) and halfway up stop and hit the wall that is away from the room
      5. Prepare to fight the Black Skeleton at the end of the path (apply Turpentine to your weapon or use the spell Second Chance)
      6. Fight the Black Skeleton, it is very weak to fire. I recommend keeping a shield up and when it misses you or you see a chance to attack it, use the spell Ignite (1 or 2 hit to kill it).
      7. Pick up it's drop, and maybe if you're lucky it will drop Pure Bladestone, but if not either run off the cliff to suicide or use Evacuate to get back to Nexus and try it all over again.
  • Pure Moonlightstone:
The only way to get it is through certain crystal lizard drops, there are two of them, and they only spawn a limited amount of times per playthrough, so it's important to make the most out of each attempt. If you got plus membership, you can take backup of your savefile before trying to kill the lizards, and if you don't get stone, you can download the backed up file and try again (be aware that you can't download your savefile within 24 hours of uploading it).
    • Recommended equipment:
      • R1: Weapon of your choice, one you are good at killing lizards with (important)
      • R2/L2: Talisman (important)
      • Spells: Evacuate (important), Anti-Magic Field (important), Second Chance (not important)
    • How to:
        1. Get PBWT in world 3 to make sure the crystal lizard are more likely to drop Pure Moonlightstone.
        2. Warp to 3-2 from Nexus, and make your way to the bottom of the level.
        3. To get further in the level you have to make your way up from the bottom. To do this you will have to walk up some tree bridge construction and then walk on some rock stuff (mountainside) where there are a lot of Giant Man Centipede before you can walk up some staircase with a Mind Flayer in it.
        4. Kill the Mind Flayer (I recommend using Anti-Magic Field to render it harmless) and then get to the top of the staircase.
        5. At the top of the staircase there will be a heck lot more of those Giant Man Centipede and some smaller ones, but not too far in front of you there should be a crystal lizard before a stone bridge with some gargoyles on it.
        6. Kill the crystal lizard, it might just drop the Pure Moonlightstone. It may also run away from you and suicide at the edge, but don't worry about that, because you can walk down the staircase and find it at the bottom where it should lay dead. If you didn't get it, evacuate and try again.
        1. Get PBWT in world 3 to make sure the crystal lizard are more likely to drop Pure Moonlightstone.
        2. Warp to 3-4 from Nexus.
        3. Use the spell Anti-Magic Field.
        4. Go over to the staircase, where you will find a crystal lizard and a Mind Flayer. The Mind Flayer should be completly harmless if you used Anti-Magic Field, so focus on killing the crystal lizard. If the lizard doesn't drop a Pure Moonlightstone, evacuate or exit the level and try again.
  • Pure Darkmoonstone:
The only way to get it is through certain crystal lizard drops, there are four of them, but they are grouped into two groups, and they only spawn a limited amount of times per playthrough, so it's important to make the most out of each attempt.
      • R2: Talisman (important)
      • L1: Shield
      • L2: Bow (important)
      • Spells: Evacuate (important), Ignite (for the Black Skeletons), Second Chance (not important)
      • Ring: Thief's Ring (important)
    • How to:
        1. Get PBWT in world 4 to make sure the crystal lizard are more likely to drop Pure Darkmoonstone.
        5. Prepare to run fast past (to the left) or kill the Black Skeleton (it's weak to fire) at the end of the path
        6. Once you're past the Black Skeleton and at the mountainside, there should be a crystal lizard here, so kill it. If it doesn't drop a Pure Darkmoonstone, evacuate the level and try again.
        1. Get PBWT in world 4 to make sure the crystal lizard are more likely to drop Pure Darkmoonstone.
        2. Warp to 4-4 from Nexus.
        3. There are three crystal lizards located near where the Stormruler weapon is located (near the archstone and not the direction where the Old Hero boss fight was fought). The fact that they are grouped together will make it very hard to kill them all every time, in fact you should only aim at killing two of them.
        4. Kill them whatever way you feel like you do it the best. I recommend killing them with a bow, but only if it one-hit kills them, because else they are likely to get away.
        5. If none of them drop the Pure Darkmoonstone, just evacuate or exit the level and try again.
  • Chunk of Marrowstone:
There are two enemies that drop this stone, but it's pretty rare and they are not so easy to get to.
    • Recommended equipment:
      • R2/L2: Talisman (important)
      • Spells: Evacuate (important), Second Chance (not important)
      • Ring: Thief's Ring (important)
    • How to:
        1. Get PBWT in world 5 to increase the chance for the Mosquitos to drop the Chunk of Marrowstone.
        2. Warp to 5-3 from Nexus.
        3. Backtrack the level the way you first time went through it until you come to a part where you have to cross the water with a lot of Giant Depraved ones at the other side.
        4. Run fast behind them and get to the tree contruction in the corner.
        5. There are a lot of Mosquitos here, kill them and they might drop a Chunk of Marrowstone, but if they don't evacuate the level and try again.
        1. Get PBWT in world 5 to increase the chance for the Giant Ticks to drop the Chunk of Marrowstone.
        2. Warp to 5-1 from Nexus.
        3. There are two locations in this level where you can find Giant Ticks. Some of them are behind the first Giant Depraved ones, the rest is at the lowest point of this level.
        4. Kill the Giant Ticks, and just evacuate the level and try again if they don't drop a Chunk of Marrowstone. You are better off trying the Mosquitos, because of the Giant Depraved One.

Magic
Information and help with magic.
  • Everyone can learn magic, but I recommend starting out as a Royal if you want the best possible pure mage build, you will need a catalyst to cast magic.
  • The Magic stat scales teh magic damage.
  • The Intelligence stat determines your max mp and magic memory slot.
  • Unlocking Sage Freke is a very smart idea if you want to unlock many of the spells that are great early in the game. 3-1 might be very hard at first, so I recommend bringing along a bow to kill all the Mindflayers from a distance and also to make the boss fight easier. You may also want to beat world 4 first, so you can learn the Miracle Anti Magic Field, which disables all magic within a certain range and renders the Mindflayers completely harmless.
  • Good equipment for mages:
  • Magic you might want to pick up early in the game:
    • Freke's Apprentice
      • Soul Arrow - weak ranged magic spell, the Royal class starts with this, and it's one of the first spells available.
      • Water Veil - reduces fire damage taken, useful in 2-2.
    • Sage Freke (3-1 and half of 3-2)
      • Poison Cloud (5-1) - creates a large cloud which poisons all enemies who pass through it, very good to use against bosses if you have a hard time with them.
      • Warding (1-2) - reduces physical damage taken by 70%.
      • Soul Ray (3-1) - improved version of Soul Arrow.
      • Fire Spray (2-1) - shoots small and fast fireballs, not very strong and won't stagger, but can be spammed by holding down the button and great to use while you move.
      • Fireball (2-3) - launches a large fireball that does a lot of fire damage.
    • Yuria, the witch (half of 1-3)
      • Firestorm (2-3) - the most powerful AoE spell, great when you fight another human.
      • Ignite (2-1) - the strongest firespell, very fast but you need to be close to the enemy.

Miracles
Information and help with miracles.
  • Everyone can learn miracles, they are almost the same as magic, but miracles are the good and defensive version.
  • Miracles you might want to pick up early in the game:
    • Disciple of God
      • Heal - the weakest healing spell.
      • Evacuate - teleports you to Nexus, very useful when grinding.
    • Saint Urbain (half of 4-2)
      • Anti Magic Field (4-3) - very useful in world 3 against the Mindflayers.
      • God's Wrath (2-3) - the only offensive miracle, it doesn't do as much damage as Firestorm, but has a better hitrate.
      • Second Chance (4-2) - revives caster back to 50% HP if they die while the spell is in effect.
      • Cure (5-1) - cures poison, plague and bleeding. Very useful in 5-2 and 5-3.
      • Recovery (3x Colorless Demon's Souls) - the stronger version of heal.

Weapons
Information and help with weapons.
  • There really is no "best" weapon, but rather some weapons that are better than most others, and which one is the "best" is really up to the player and their style of playing.
  • All weapons have a lot of different stats and all you need to know about them is explained HERE.
  • Most normal weapons can be upgraded in many different paths, what paths they can be upgraded in differs, and some might only have one path. HERE is some basic information about the various upgrade paths. To know what upgrade paths a weapon can take, find the weapons HERE
  • Recommended weapons:
    • Blueblood Sword - Powerful sword for luck builds.
    • Meat Cleaver - Usually considered as the potentially strongest weapon in the game. Only weapon to have double S rating scaling and it even has an extra A. It also does magic damage.
    • Compound Long Bow - Sticky upgrade of this bow is potentially the strongest bow in the game, it also has a good range only beaten by White Bow.
    • White Bow - Strong bow with the longest range.
    • Winged Spear - One of the two strongest spears, easily obtainable early in the game, can be used with shield up. I recommend either Moon or Sharp upgrade path.
    • Scraping Spear - The most hated weapon in the game, it does 10 durability damage to each of the items the target has equipped.
    • Istarelle - Strong spear that does magic damage, also helps against Poison and Plague.
    • Blind - Ignores shield and has bleed damage.
    • Large Sword of Moonlight - Another sword that ignores shield and only does magic damage.
    • Large Sword of Searching - Supposedly increase drop rate, but it's as useless as the luck stat, bleed damage as well.
    • Shotel - Light weapon that halfway ignores shield with bleed damage.
    • Magic Sword Makoto - Quite strong weapon with heavy bleed, both slashing and piercing, but does damage to the weilder every second it's equipped.
    • Uchigatana - People's favorite kantana.
    • Rune Sword - Increase magic defense and does heavy magic damage.
    • Baby's Nail - Very light dagger to give the opponent plague.
    • Talisman of Beasts - allows you to cast both magic and miracles.
    • Silver Catalyst - increases max mp by 20%.
    • Insanity Catalyst - stronger magic attack, but reduces max mp by 50%.
    • Kris Blade - increases magic attack and decreases magic defense, how much depends on how it is upgraded, but at max upgrade it has the same effect as Monk's Head Collar.
    • Phosphorescent Pole - recovers mp, how much depends on how much it has been upgraded, at max upgrade it recovers 1mp per second.
  • Recommended Shields:
    • Purple Flame shield - Full physical and high fire defense along with not being "too" heavy, it also have a very high Guard Break
      Reduction.
    • Dark Silver Shield - Only shield with full magic defense, it also has full physical defense and pretty high fire defense.

Ok so I started my playthrough I'm doing it how you recommended. 1-1, 1-2, 2-1, 2-2, 2-3, 4-1. I ended at 4-1 with about 6 hours in. I have PWWT in World 2. So I'm going to finish all the worlds before I go back and do their White world events. Just an update. lulz

6 hours in and done with all those levels aren't bad for a new player. You may notice the enemies in 4-1 does a lot more damage than in the worlds you've so far been in. Just make sure the enemies don't hit you (or at least not very often). Thief's Ring, Cling Ring, a bow and a shield are all your friends.

PWWT stuff can be done whenever you feel like it, but don't make the WT darker before doing it though. In world 2 there are only two things you want to do. Both being pretty easy. Make sure you got a lot of empty space in your inventory, because what you are going to pick up is heavy. Go to 2-3 archstone (Flamelurker boss location) and go down to the next boss (Dragon God), but exactly as you enter the Dragon God boss location look to your left and you should find a Shining Lizard and the weapon Dragon Bone Smasher, grab it and go back to Nexus and then go to 2-2. In 2-2 take right (not left) path at the beginning, and from here there should be some miners you can kill and at the very end a big fall. Smash some boxes on the right side and walk along a tight path there to find a safe place to drop down. You will still lose a little bit of health when dropping, but you won't die from it if you do it right. At the halfway down, there will be a small cave-in, where you will find Scirvir, The Wanderer, show him the weapon you just picked up and he will give you a Pure Greystone. That's all the PWWT events in world 2 you should think about.

Ok so now I'm 11 hours in. I have defeated 1-1, 1-2, 2-1, 2-2, 2-3, 4-1, 4-2, 4-3, 3-1, 3-2, 3-3, 5-1, 1-3, 5-2, 5-3. I stopped after killing the boss in 5-3. Following your guide, the next thing I do is complete all the white world tendency events.
This game is awesome.

This game is awesome.
I tried making the guide even more clear on the important parts!

11 hours is a good time so far. I bet you haven't collected too much in every level, but it should be easy for you to revisit the levels to collect everything you miss of rings, weapons etc! Revisiting the worlds to collect the few things you miss after you beat the worlds are far more enjoyable and easy than doing it the first time around. At least from my experience, because I hate following collectible guides! I just want to play and enjoy the game, which it seems you've done so far!

Remember to read the wikidot page about what you can and actually should/must do in each world with PWWT. White World Tendency Events - Demon's Souls English Wiki

At your point in the game, that and making sure you get PWCT is the two most important things left to do in the game. After getting the PWWT stuff you can play online, just don't invade anyone or play online in world 3 before you've got Friend's Ring!
