After spending time on various forums to elicit information about the online aspect of the game, it seems the developers have pulled the online community. I doubt they'll bring it back.

So if you're after the platinum, look elsewhere. If you're content with lots of easy-ish trophies, but aren't worried about the platinum, it's probably worth £5.

i just started this game a few days ago... what bad luck lol. dont think i would have got the plat anyways tho

I will say though, that it's a very fun game so don't let it hold you back too much if you can get it for cheap.

But, Squodge is 100% right: Do not play or buy this for Plat, unless the online community magically comes back someday...

The online has majically come back. However, I've noticed that the 'most recent videos' seems to be stuck on 24th May 2011, so if you've uploaded a video by before that date then you're in luck.

As there's no search facility, I had to plough through a lot of pages to get to my uploaded video from April. But I quickly got them out the way. Remember to rate your own video 200+ times through a second account. Once you load the game up on your main account, the 200 views trophy will pop.

If you haven't uploaded a video yet, you might well be out of luck - but no harm in trying to upload videos. You can still get the 10 uploaded videos trophy, even if they don't end up in 'the community'. But you might well never get the platinum. If you can live with that, this is still a decent game to buy.

Actually, you can just click on your name and it will take you to your uploaded videos. Makes it a lot easier to find your videos.

But you can't rate your own videos - which is why you need to play the game on a second account, and in that respect you can't search for your video. It's funny that the developers didn't take heed of how other games (e.g. SingStar) deal with their communities - simple searches by PSN name, by date, by popularity, etc.

Oh right, right, I forgot about that. And yeah, that's the reason I self-boosted the trophies, because there was no way to find people's videos so I couldn't promote them.

This really really sucks. I bought this game and now its a waste. I know I can play the game still but man I wanted to go for the platinum.
