Forbidden Zone to Forest of Tomorrow?

So I just destroyed the first thong in the Forbidden Zone BaconFire but cannot find a way to get to the second section, which I assume is the Forest of Tomorrow. There is no marker or label or person to talk to. Where do I go to continue the game?

Go through where you the bacon fire once was (should look like a darkened pathway, everything made of the brown rock material). You'll do this with each thong you destroy: see bacon fire, destroy thong, move through where the fires were to reach your next big destination. Hope that helps.

Uh-oh. I cannot find where the Forbidden Zone bacon fire was. Can you point me in the right direction?

I was a little lost too. After you bring the three Nuclear Family people back to the kitchen (by completing their seperate questlines), they will have a family conversation with the Mom and everyone will explode. The kitchen wall behind them will explode too. "Oh no!" I thought. "I lost the Baconing Fire! It was in the oven and I forgot to use it!"

This is not the case. Just go through that opening where the kitchen wall used to be. Follow the path beyond the opening as far as you can (it will take you right on your screen, then down, down, down). It will automatically go to the cutscene when you reach the Baconing Fire.

The quote "The Kitchen of Tomorrow is powered by Bacon Fire" is misleading. The Bacon Fire is not near the kitchen. It is aways down below it, offscreen. Poor choice of words on developer's part.

Thank-you for your response. Unfortunately, I have not gotten that far. I am at the place before that - still stuck in the Forbidden Zone and am trying to get to area that will eventually lead me to the Nuclear Family.

How do I re-find the very first Bacon Fire where I destroyed the first thong?

Hey, I have a mic, so look me up online. I am sorry I misunderstood - you are not yet in the Forest of Tomorrow, and I thought you were.

You will not re-find the Bacon Fire. The thong cutscene destroys the fire completely, but that is a good thing. Once the fire is removed, you can progress to the next level - in this case, the Forest of Tomorrow. So don't worry about looking for the old Bacon Fire - it no longer exists.

Follow the path that opened up after beating the Mineotaur (I think that's the first boss's name) until you reach the Bacon Fire (if you have not already done so). There is an automatic cutscene of DS shooting the thong like a rubberband into the Bacon Fire. Once fire leaves, the path opens. Move forward. It is as simple as that - there are no alternate paths or trick options.

The game is very linear; given DeathSpank's intelligence, that's a good thing.
However, if you're like me and used to thinking in terms of Splinter Cell or Final Fantasy, your brain says, "There must be multiple paths." Nope. DeathSpank is one of the most uncomplicated heroes out there.

If you get stuck, tap L1 to bring up your map. As far as level progression, you will always move East to the next level (or to the right). The map only reveals what you have discovered so far, so there will be a lot of blank space on the right hand side that will be full by the end of the game.
