Alright, here you go. I worked this out with Kuruz a long time ago and recently restarted it with KOOKIE1994. I'm finished now and I'm helping KOOKIE1994 when I can.


In order to use this boosting method, each booster will need to have one side account on their PS3 (just a blank one will do) in addition to their main account. This will mitigate the need for 4 people. They are split up like this:

P1 = Player 1, Main Account
P2 = Player 2, Main Account
P3 = Player 1, Boost Account
P4 = Player 2, Boost Account


With all players starting on the first round of the tournament, the players need to fight each other in this order:

Player # vs Player # (Number of wins, loss and drop from tournament)

P1 vs P2 (1-0, OUT)
P2 vs P3 (1-0, OUT)
P4 vs P3 (1-0, OUT)
P1 vs P4 (2-0, OUT)
P3 vs P4 (1-0, OUT)
P2 vs P3 (2-0, OUT)
P1 vs P2 (Winner)

The above shows the winning player on the left and the losing player on the right. The reason this works is that when a player is defeated he immediately gets reset to (0-0). This can be abused to let boost accounts place higher in the tournament in order to fight main accounts.

There is a boost method that I accidentally stumbled on. This boost method requires only 2 people with NO ALT accounts needed. This is basically a disconnect glitch.

Before you start designate one person that will be logging in and out of the ps network. When both people enter in the same match and when Round 1 starts you will notice it saving in the bottom left corner. You must wait until the game is done saving. Once it is done the designated person will need to go out into the XMB under the psn icon sign out under the account management. Once you sign out the game will give you the option to sign back in, do it. Make another room and you will now be in the next tournament level and so will your boosting partner. Do this all the way to the Finals.

Now I did not try the disconnect glitch in the final round since I was the only one that needed the trophy. If you do decide to do it let me know if it works or you could play it safe and swap out wins. In theory though it will give both people the tournament win.
