Got mine on the Fourth try about 10 minutes ago with 55% shield strength left.
Taking it slow shooting one at a time helped me a lot.

Of all the trophies in this game, this one is got to be the single-most random trophy.

Took a while trying to get it. In fact, i'd quit attempting on my first playtru, and returned to it on my impossible run. No difficulty change.

Funny is, after getting this trophy, i have been, up to this day, still struggling to get "over 50% damage left."

i got this trophy a few hours ago...I failed really bad at 1st the big rocks would just appear mid screen.....but i notice you could see them in the background a dark grey color...then bomb...74%

I know this is a really old thread but figured I'd share how I finally got this trophy in case there are people who are just now picking up this game. First and foremost, keep an eye on your meter. Keep firing like crazy but at a rate that won't allow you to overheat.

I actually only used one side to keep the gun from heating up. I would then start firing immediately before I saw the first meteors. I fired in repeating box patterns and actually knocked quite a few out before I actually had to start aiming.

Having a good setup helps too. You don't want too many fast meteors or large ones either. I'll have to confess it took me way more than 4 tries like everyone else here, but I finally got it with 57%.

And have patience. There's no point in trying this trophy if you lack the most important part, that is keep trying if all else fails.

This trophy wasn't all the difficult was it. I mean I got it on my first try and in just about every playthrough I don't think that I've ever gotten below 60% if memory serves me correctly. Maybe I'm just lucky.

You were lucky. I did, also, in my first playthrought, because I was lucky enough that the game didn't send me an impossible pattern. But "don't get cocky, kid". It doesn't happen aways and the vast majority of players can't take it the first time they play ADS Cannon minigame.

Finally after 2 hours got it . My advice keep playing untill you get some luck , I got so pissed off getting 6 large rocks 3 at once in a row . Than 1 game only had 3 large rocks the whole game lol.

I've tried several times and finished with 48 and 49% numerous times. Guess it takes luck. atleast I have a game save just before cannnon and can go back and try again.
