I can't get the "Don't get cocky, kid." trophy to save my life. Even when I do beat it. I barely beat it and you start off with 85 points this should have been a silver trophy. All this for a bronze. Anyone have any tips on how to do this?
Instead of non stop shooting shoot one bullet at a time this helped me get this trophy. The only time you should shoot alot is when its one of those big astriofs because it will break a part and if you keep shooting and dont stop you'll get them all

I just got it. It took me about 10 times to get it, I finished off with 55.
I agree with the advice shooting the rocks with the corresponding side gun, if they go left shoot left if they go right shoot right. It also seems that you do not have to be THAT accurate. I would be a little off and the asteroids would explode.
I think I got lucky as there was a moment when my screen was filled with rocks and I only concentrated with the ones in the middle and I was able to survive.
I'm gonna go through the game once on normal, to unlock impossible, then go for 2 fast runthroughs on easy for the upgrade trophy. Impossible I'll save for another day, since I can't see myself spending 20+ hours for one trophy.

Why not do the two fast run-throughs on the normal save file? Since you'll already know the area, it's not hard. Hell, I've played on Hard my first time, then am already on my second play through which is much easier. And, you'll already have the head start on money, upgrades, etc.

Because I'm lame and starting to have trouble on Normal, lol. I can't get a handle on the fire/reload/kinesis system when I'm getting mobbed by 5 guys. Somehow I reload when I'm trying to slow down time, fire when I'm trying to force someone away and fire off a full clip for no good reason. They should have used the L2 and R2 triggers for kinesis and time and a simple X hit for reload.

Thanks to Iron_granny's tip. I did it, took me about ten tries as well. Now I'm stuck in Chapter 6 with the boss. So close to getting platinum now that I can taste it.

Here's some tips for the chap three boss. Walk up tell the monster starts to attack. Then retreat to the door you came in and stay close to the wall and run and strait to anyside till it swings his arms at you, if you do this it will not be able to hit you. Then after it attacks use the plasma cutter to shoot off his arm. RepeT till he starts shooting at you. When this happens start walking towards the monster. While using kanesis to catch the balls it shoots at you. When you catch one imeditly shoot it back. By now you should be directly front of the boss. And just continue shooting them back and It always shoots an odd number at you. So this let's you injure the boss with the last ball. Repeat till the tenticles come out and repeat the first step and retreat back till the top. But this time when you take off an arm it starts shooting at you. Just straif till he stops and shoot the tinticle. Then just reaper the other step ofshooting the balls back at it.
Beating the game on Easy does not unlock impossible mode btw... might want to make that change in the guide.
Ummm Yes it does........ cuz i beat the fucking game on easy and it unlocked. Don't post something unless you know it is a fact. I got all the trophies on easy minus the beat on impossible. I only post what is fact.
