I saved in 5, 10 and 13 and still got the plat.

And yes that segment has 2 Pregnant (3 if linger) and 5 Leapers. It's manageable IF you use the detonator at the T-junction corridor you came from.

Or kill the 2 Pregnant and 1 Leaper and immediately go through the door. You avoid the fight w/ the 3-4 other Leapers. I played a bit further then came back to the same area to access the store. No enemies in sight. Saves a lot of ammo and potential death.

I'm on chapter 4 and going on chapter 5. I been doing the dlc infinite money glitch and have my dlc forged plasma cutter almost maxed and have my health upgraded twice. I also always have the dlc contact beam with me to collect it's ammo from enemies drops. after all they sell for 6,000. I have over 200 plasma cutter ammo on me as well and 5 health packs that might discard your use just encase I get hurt. Saved at chapter 3 ambush though I regret that save. But I don't care since I'll make it to 8 or nine as long as I have my laptop and those hour long videos them I platinum this game in no time at all.

I gotta leaving my ps3 on overnight till I get back from college though sadly or I'll lose all my upgrades.

Damn shame I gotta make it to chapter 8 for the second save.

You should write the upgrade and buying (for weapons and suits) path from that Walkthrough video.

How far did you go for the enemies not to be there upon return?

I don't have the time for that at the moment or in the near future, and more importantly, do not want to limit the reader to a restricted method of playing the game. Experimenting and using knowledge from experiences is part of the playing and enjoying the game.

cyst was the only enemy that actually killed me once I got the hang of things >.<

The room after the quad where you get attacked has a bench at one end I believe and a room located to the left that requires a node to access. I collected everything from that room and moved on a little bit further - not exactly sure how far.

I only came back to the store b/c my inventory was full and I was passing up on precious ammo. Not an enemy in sight.
