Ogre's Keeper (Hidden Trophy)

I've tried over an over again it just won't pop, I'm gonna give it a break and come back to it when I'm less angry and with a disc other than the Ultimate edition.

Hmm...that's funny, checking approval was how I knew if I had the right Ogre or not. Also, Enthralling would be nearly impossible to do without grinding at one of the infinite respawn points if that were the case...

What worked for me for both this trophy and Enthralling was to save before getting to the ogre, then open the gate and see if you recruit the correct ogre by checking approval. If you didn't get the correct one, kill it and recruit the other. If there is only one, recruit it and check its approval. If it has been reset it is the wrong ogre, reload. Check EACH time you reload. Sometimes only one spawns and it is in fact the original ogre.

Got the right ogre on the first try, thankfully. Did the suggested trick of trying to enthrall from behind the fence. When I got him back, he had the same approval, but his injury was removed.

I will have to try this, but I think something got screwed up with mine. My Ogre was almost at the heart by the time I got to that point. When I saved and enthralled him again, he was at the same reputation, kept him alive, and no trophy.
Hopefully, this method works, cuz it is the only trophy I need for this DLC. Thanks for the guide, and the tremendous detail.

Cheers MutantSquirrel. That worked spot of for me after i was too having problems doing it. I was able to get it with the ultimate edition of Dragon Age aswell.

ok first post for this thread: I just did this expansion twice, and the first time only one ogre came out from behind the gate, and the second time both did, i did as the trophy guide said and charmed the first one and i kept both alive and it still didnt pop. I am now crossing my fingers for the third attempt at this trophy because after two times i had to google about the problem with it, and i HATE .....HATE when i have to do that for a trophy cause it makes me feel like a n00b .
