You keep the armour but not the weapon levels. In fact nothing else BUT the armour.

I have to say I'm enjoying my 2nd playthrough more. It feels remarkably easy compared to NORMAL because a) I now know the best way to dodge and fight each enemy and boss and b) I'm not getting frustrated with a puzzle because I don't know what to do next, and c) I know where all the good chests are and how all the world's link together so not getting lost and thinking "How do I get to the Hollows again?".

I've got all trophies except beating the game on apocalyptic so I'll definitely finish a 2nd playthrough.
