Darksiders II pushed back until August - Page 2

Just finished up playthrough on first one. Ready for 2nd! Still dont understand why everyone keeps saying ThQ is gonna go under. They have several good games that have done well and some comming that like this one, thats gonna do really well.

i am not surprised but i think it is thq not vigil causing the delay. i have a funny feeling thq is trying to force delays to get the wiiu version out either first or as close to the others as possible.

hopefully august is the latest.

I could see that but the announcement stated it was to finish the games development, which I'd rather believe over conspiracy that THQ would want to delay a game that will hopefully bring in a lot of sales when their already not doing so well financially...

You know, I was encourged by a person to buy darksiders. Buy upon playing it could not get into it. I know a lot of people like it. Will probably wait and buy this used to see how it is. Tend to pre order a lot but this will not be one of them.

If it's up to the same standard as the first I'll buy it day one, because I don't want to see THQ go under so easily. Basically, if this purchase helps to keep them afloat until the South Park game comes out, then I'll help out.

not saying conspiracy. but i would not put it past thq to try and "hold" the game til the wiiu release in hopes of getting more sales on the new system, like Nintendo did with Twilight Princess.

The GC version was down then shelved for months just so they could "hopefully" get more wii sales. i would no be surprised with another delay. i hope it DOES hit on the 14th though

If they were going to push it back again, they would have told us by now. I think they were trying to release at a time where there wouldn't be too much competition.

there was no real competition in June, but we have only 2 weeks to go no. actually they could delay it again i have seen games get delayed the day of release before. but this one should hit on the 14th. a friend of mine got to go to Vigil studios and actually play the game:
