How to Platinum Demon's Souls in 10+ Hours
?? It's just, I don't know where to start, and I like getting things as early as I can

There are a lot of guides (here and here) and wikis (here). Nothing as concise as the one you linked but it's an expansive game.
There's a lot to read. We all read up on this game so I suggest you do too. You have to finish the game twice for both endings so more than enough time to get your bearings. It's really not that difficult to get a grip on the game.

Demon's Souls could even be platinumed in under 4 hours. I think that's the record, it's pretty crazy. I tried it once as part of a bet, took me ~8 hours. But you need to be crazy fast and have a good connection (as online trading is mandatory). And glitching a plenty. Doing it legit under 10 hours, man, that takes even more skill I'd assume.
For Dark Souls there really isn't one yet. Trading is harder if not impossible(is it even still possible actually, haven't tried yet), there aren't many known glitches yet besides the Kiln glitch and we haven't experimented enough yet with possible setups. If you want to get Dark Souls' platinum as fast as possible, my suggestion is to get everything the first and second playthrough. Every ore, every Reprisal possible and pray it's enough. And don't patch the game so you can abuse the leveling glitch. |

The only thing that you must try on first playthrough is getting all bosstails. And for covenants, don't give away the required items for ranking up before you have all items you need.
Take sunbro covenant. Don't give 4 sunlight medals, join another covenant and then rejoin and give 6 sunlight medals. If you leave a covenant you'll simply start from scratch. |
