Dark Souls Road Map & Trophy Guide

mods that see this thread i have videos being rendered and shouldbe done by the time i wake up and then ill upload to youtube and ill put on to this guide. Such as how to get to the covenants and the bosses.

For the sunlight covenant, the faith requirement is reduced by 5 each time you get summoned and help killed a boss.

I'd REALLY advise

1.) adding bold letters to the trophy names and roadmap titles.
To be honest - your guide is not very pretty to look at and looks like an ultra prototype. You should revise the layout to make it look better.

2.) elaborating much, much, much, much more on the trophy descriptions. For a game like Dark Souls there is A LOT more which players using a trophy guide would want to know. I read through the guide without even owning the game and countless questions came to my mind (especially having played Demon's Souls because of the World Tendency and stuff) that didn't get answered.
Remember - you're writing a trophy guide to help new players who have questions like "do I have to worry about anything right from the beginning like World Tendency in Demon's Souls?" or "does not putting enough stats in Faith keep me from getting some trophies like the Covenant ones?". That are just two of many questions I still have that would be the reason for even looking at a trophy guide.

3.) revising the whole roadmap.
Don't take this personally but I think your roadmap is one of the worst I've ever seen on this site. Step 1, 2 und 3 should go under a single step because that's basically just "preparation" for getting the trophies. That has nothing to do with getting 100% of the trophies themselves. And you put the whole trophy guide as step 4. That's like saying "screw the roadmap, just look at the trophy guide and make your own".
What I'm saying is basically that you didn't really make a roadmap but a "how to become familiar with the game" mini guide.
The roadmap should depict what steps to take to get 100% trophy completion. You can't put the trophy guide as one step.
Just look at all the other roadmaps on this site. It should elaborate on the order you should ideally get the trophies, trophies you should get the first oppurtunity possible, missable trophies, things you need to collect in a specific playthrough, items you shouldn't throw away because of additional playthroughs and so on.

That being said I do appreciate someone is making a guide but I don't find it helpful at all at the current state and I don't think it will be approved.

Oh and again - don't take this to personally. I just want to help although I know that my post sounds kinda harsh. But for a great release like Dark Souls I think you'll understand that the trophy guide should be near perfect since there will be many people reading it in the future.

I've got one finished, with detailed descriptions on where to go, boss paths etc. but the wanabe mods got it closed so I can't be arsed to upload it.

thanks for this, i wasn't going to include a road map, because i didnt know how to make one, but i choose to since i seen all the other guides with road maps, and yeah ill clear stuff up, i have videos that take a while to render for the lord boss trophies and how to get there same with the covenants.
