For the trophy "Wisdom of a Sage" you will need to aquire all Sorceries in the game. This list will show who sells the spells and how to get them to sell to you. This guide was made by me, and can be used in making a trophy guide, no problem, just show me sum love in the guide:dance: Here we go, hope this helps.

--Griggs of Vilhelm--

Griggs can be found lowest levels of Undead Burg. Where you first run into the Hollow Thieves before the Capra Demon boss fight. There, you'll find a house with a locked door. Griggs is in there. You need the "Redidence Key" sold my the undead merchant to open the door. Once rescued, he will appear in Firelink Shrine and sell spells. After saving Big hat Logan, Griggs will sell more spells, plus rings. Some time after buying everything from him, he will leave and go to Sen's Fortress where he will become Hollow. You'll find him in the second path that leads up to the mechanism that launches the large steel balls the giant on the roof is dropping. That is where you can kill him to aquire the "Hush" spell.

Soul Arrow:

Griggs of Vinhelm or Big Hat Logan.

Great Soul Arrow:

Another way to get the Hush spell without killing hollow Griggs.

It's already in Sen's Fortress. From the boulder launch room, go to the trail that leads to the mimic (chest enemy). While turning the corner from the boulder room, look right to see a gap in the wall. Jump through and attack the snake mage with an air attack. You'll land on some wooden boards. Look around you'll see a broken wall on one side and a hallway on the other. Go down the hallway and you'll be in a cell with the Hush spell on the ground along with an armor set.

(Thanks to AlejandroM for the conformation)

--Big Hat Logan--

You can find Logan in Sen's Fortress, locked in a cage. The key is found elswehere in Sen's Fortress, but players with a Master Key can open it right away. Free, him and he will go to Firelink Shrine next to Griggs. He will sell stronger spells than Griggs. When you are sent to The Dukes Archives, you will find Logan in a cell AGAIN! Free him, and you will find him in another room of the archives, where you can purchase his best spells. Once you have bought everything from him and killed Seath in Crystal Cave, return to Seath's room to find a Hollow Logan. Kill him to get the "Dragon's Breath" spell, plus his armor set, catylist, and hat.

For the trophy "Bond of a Pyromancer" you will need to aquire all Pyromancies in the game. There are a total of 19 you need to get. This list will show who sells the spells and how to get them to sell to you. This guide was made by me, and can be used in making a trophy guide, no problem, just show me sum love in the guide:dance: Here we go, hope this helps.

--Laurentius--

While in the Depths, you will find him in a room full of barrels, after killing the two butchers in the area. Break the barrel that he is trapped in to free him. Be careful not to hit him or piss him off. After killing Quelaag in Blighttown, you can talk to him in Firelink Shrine. He will ask if you find magic unsavory, to this, say NO. He will give you a pyromancy flame, and you can buy his spells. He will also level up your pyromancy flame up to lvl 15, which you will want to do ASAP.

Fireball:

Laurentius or Quelana of Izalith

Fire Orb:

Laurentius or Quelana of Izalith

Combustion:

Laurentius or Quelana of Izilith

Iron Flesh:

Laurentius

Flesh Sweat:

Laurentius

--eingyi--

This is the friendly Egg Carrier that guards Quelaag's sister, the Chaos Covenant giver and fire keeper. He will ask if you are a servant, say yes to enter. You must be infected with an egg on your head to have Eingyi sell you his pyromancy skills.

Poison Mist:

Eingyi. You can also find this skill for free somewhere in the swamp, on the way to The Hollows. Its is bundled with some armor and is on a corpse.

Toxic Mist:

Eingyi

--Daughter of Chaos--

You will find her beneath the second bell and where Eingyi is. You can join her Chaos Covenant to earn some powerful Pyromancy skills.

Great Chaos Fireball:

A Joining gift for joining the Daughter of Chaos's Covenant

Chaos Storm:

A covant gift for getting Rank+2 in the Daughter of Chaos's covenant. This will cost you 30 Humanity, so make sure you are ready before going for this rank, as leaving the covenant to join another will take back to zero, and any humanities given will be void.

--Quelana of Izalith--

Quelana is in Blighttown. The swamps actually. Right when you get to the swamp via the water wheel, you will see some large pillars to your right. She is behind the first pillar closest to you. Make sure you take care of any enemies in that area before going to talk to her. If your Pyromancy flame is AT LEAST +10 from Laurentius, she will make you her apprentice and sell you some great pyromancy skills. Plus, if your pyromancy flame is +15, she will make it Quelana's flame and add another +5 to your flame which is super awesome. This is expensive however, and I would advise stocking up on around 300k souls to buy all her skills and level up your flame 5 more times.

Great Fireball:

Quelana of Izalith

Firestorm:

Quelana of Izalith

Fire Whip:

Quelana of Izalith

Great Combustion:

Quelana of Izalith

Undead Rapport:

Quelana of Izalith

Fire Tempest:

After locating Quelana in Blighttown swamps, speak to her enough that she asks you a favor. To kill her her mother and sister. After defeating Bed of Chaos in Izalith, return to her and she will reward you with IMO the most badass spell in the game!

--Dropped/Found Pyromancy Skills--

Fire Chaos Whip:

Lost Izalith. Found in a chest located on the right before going down a long corridor to fight the boss.

(Thanks to Neme for confirming)

Fire Surge:

Painting World of Aramis. Dropped by Zombie. Any old zombie won't drop this. You have to g ot the underground area wher you fight Pinwheel skeletons. In the upper left corner of this area (by the door lever) there is a fake wall. Go through there and go up some steps. At the top, there will be a toxic zombie just standing there. Kill him, and pick up this spell.

Acid Surge:

Painted World of Amaris. Found on a corpse. (loot)

Power Within:

Blighttown. Found on a corpse. Pretty sure you can also purchase this from Laurentius.

This is a list of all of the shards/chunks/slabs in the game and the best (if any) places to farm them. Maybe this will make the upgrade weapon trophies a little easier for some folks. These are either popular areas of places that I have personally got drops from. there is, no doubt others. If anybody knows of any other good spots, please let me know, and I will add them with credit to you of course.

Same as before, if you want to use this in a trophy guide, fine by me, just give me some credit.

Here they are:

Titanite Shards:

The most common shards in the game. They can be bought from Andre the blacksmith for 800 souls each. It is much more timesaving to buy them, but for you cheapskates out there, the ideal place to farm them (there are plenty) are Undead Burg/Parish. Undead soldiers, all types. Swords, spears, doesn't really matter. If your "Item Discovery" is pretty high, you will be getting these often.

Large Titanite Shards:

The Crestfallen merchant right before the end of Sen's Fortress sells these babies for 4,000 souls each. A few good places to farm these are in Undead Parish, with the heavy knights with red capes.

Not the best place, but oh well. Another place is in the Depths. Right in front of the bonfire are some Slimes on the ceiling. You can farm them for Large shards, but they seem to drop green shards more often.

IMO, the best place to farm these is in the Blighttown swamps. Look for leaches. There are tons of them by the tree to Ash Lake. They also drop green shards, but the drop rate for Large shards is more common.

Titanite Chunk:

Chunks are of course harder to come by. You can't buy them, so the ideal place to farm them would be the Sentinals of Anor Londo. The big enemies with shields and halberds. The bonfire where Gwynevere is, towards the blacksmith has two sentilnels that drop these fairly easy. them.

In case you killed Gwynevere in Anor Londo, another good spot, though more dangerous, is in New Londo Ruins. The Darkwraiths drop them at about the same rate as Sentinals whle equipped with a gold snake ring, unfortunately, there is no bonfire very close by, so Homeward or bones are your friend.

Titanite Slab:

Very rare material. In New Londo Ruins, the Darkwraiths drop these but very, very rarely, even with the snake ring. the stray demon boss in Undead Asylum is the only guarenteed drop that I know of.

Green Titanite Shard:

The crestfallen Merchant in Sen;s Fortress sels these for 5,000 souls each. The Slimes in the Depths also drop these pretty frequently. Also, the Leeches in Blighttown swamp are a good enemy to farm.

Blue Titanite Chunk:

There is an area between The Duke's Archives and the Crystal Cave. You will find Crystal Golems in this area that will drop these. With a close bonfire, this is the best place that I know of. Snake ring helps..Alot!

Blue Titanite Slab:

Very hard to farm. The only enemies I know CAN drop these are the butterflies in Crystal Cave, In all honesty, this one is almost too much of a pain to worry about. It might take more than one playthrough to aquire enough of these slabs, but if you REALLY want to, this is an option.

Red Titanite Chunk:

Like the drakwriths in New Londo, the Chaos Eaters in Izalith are hard to farm. They drop them, but with no bonfire around, you might have to kil them all, and warp to a close bonfire using Homeward or the bone item.

Those little sunlight maggots in Lost Izaleth's Chaos Covenant shortcut drop red chunks, you'll only get one or two per 10 kills but they respawn and it's a decent method.

(Thanks to MicrobeSS for the conformation)

Red Titanite Slab:

The same Chaos Eaters in Izalith CAN drop these, but the drop rate is ridiculous. If you are farming them for chunks, perhaps you may get lucky. Make sure you have the Snake ring and humanity as high as possible for these.

White Titanite Chunk:

in the tomb of giants, there are enemies that look like trees made out of bones. These Skeleton Towers drop whites fairly often.

White Titanite Slab:

Supposedly, the Black Knights have been known to drop these, but I've never seen it. Your best bet besides that are killing lizards and praying. There is one to be picked up in Tomb of Giants.

*You can get white titanite slabs from the pinwheel like enemies in the area where the mini skeletons spawn right in front of the nito fight

(Thanks to Jimpanse for the confirmation)

The lists that Blood_Runs_Cold had started in separate threads have now been merged into one. Please keep all discussion of these lists, updates, etc here in one place.

I'm not moving over the previous discussions since there wasn't that much and they'd overlap. You can still check them if you need to.

If you are finding this information useful (I sure am! Thanks BRC!) it might be a good idea to cut and paste all the text and save it to a document file in case this thread gets deleted due to copyright issues from the guide. The other related threads were closed because allthough the information was not copied verbatim from the guide it does borrow heavily and the publisher might not like the 'bread breaking'.

Can anyone explain where or how to get the 'Wolf Ring' in Darkroot Garden? I am thinking it is on the body across the chasm to your left shortly after you enter the area heading towards Artorius gate but I have no idea how to reach it and have tried everything I can think of. You can also see it below you to the right on the stone bridge where Moonlight Butterfly is.

Also, I am sure there is a way to get Slumbering Dragoncrest ring without killing Griggs. I am not totally sure where I picked it up but suspect it was on a body in Sens Fortress somewhere above the tar pit.

There is also a Rare Ring of Sacrifice on the roof of the building near the red robed old guy. You can also get one by trading a twin humanity to Snuggly the Crow.

The harpies drop the reprisals luckily, albeit slowly.

The fire is in a 'hidden' within a 'hidden' path in that really lame dark room w/ the rolling skeletons.

@ Anyone, could anyone elaborate on the Reinforced Magic Barrier miracle? Swear i've opened everything in Anor Londo.

Was there any real point in joining them?

Now it's just going to get messy, it's a huge wall that takes a lot of scrolling now.

Uhm CTRL+F if you know what your looking for

Maybe I've been reading a bit too much today, but I could've sworn I saw Blue Testosterone Ring and was like "wooooo +50 % to STR"

Anyways thanks for the list Blood :applause:

Correct, to get there, you need to run past the fancy door, and past the area with those 3 tree things, and then as soon as you hit the big area with those moss giant things, turn right, and move along the wall. You will come across either a tree that you can chop down, or a passageway leading down. You then head down, and eventually on your right will be a tunnel you can run up to get the ring.

While i appreciate your concern, you are stating that the reason the other threads were closed down was becuase of something you know nothing about. Are you a mod? They wanted to check the REAL guide and see how close together the two list were.

Apperently not very close if it's not only back up, but has been merged.

Bottom line, I try to help other PS3T members by posting some information I have in my posession, While a little close, it still meets the guidlines.

I will edit everything in this thread to make sure nothing coincides with a legit guide, but how many ways can you say:

Go left through the red door?

or dropped by the corpse?

C'mon...
