co-op question

can co-op be done offline or does it have to be online?

They can be done on or offline.
If you put it on split screen and put the controller down you'll get it. The game auto jumps your partner ahead if u get to far so you never need to touch controller 2.
Also by leaving them at the entrance out of gun fire you can use him to revive you if you die so you never need to checkpoint. lol
