CSI: Fatal Conspiracy Trophy Guide

Overview Estimated Trophy Difficulty: 2.5/10 Offline Trophies: 7  , 12 , 6 , 1 Online Trophies: 0 Estimated Time to Platinum: 6+ Hours Minimum Playthroughs Required: 1 Missable Trophies: None (Case Selection) Glitched Trophies: 1 (CSI: Fatal Conspiracy) Step One: Case Completion Case One Upon starting the case you will unlock Thanks for Playing. Click on your PDA and select options and then Case File > Reconstructions > Video for three further freebie trophies, Under the Hood, Reading is Fun and I Like to Watch. This case is the easiest to unlock the Cunning, Skill and Thoroughness trophies. If you follow the Case Walkthrough and/or the video listed under their trophy descriptions, you will be guaranteed Fool Me Once, Can't Get Fooled Again, Human Polygraph, Test Tube Washer, Research Grant, Technically Perfect, Thorough Enough, Darn It, Close Counts After All and No Stone Overturned along with Not Up To Code and Flash Baked. Case 2 There are two trophies specific to the second case. The first trophy requires you to collect all evidence. For a full list of evidence and it's location, refer to Scavenger Hunt. The final trophy, Planting Evidence, is acquired after completing the case. Case 3 There are three trophies specific to the third case. After receiving the security records confirming Jayne Barrett's alibi, run a document analysis to find something interesting. This will unlock Sunday, Sunday, Sunday!. Later in the case you will unlock John Barrett's bedroom. Pick up the used lingerie on the bed and analyse it to find two samples. Return to the lab and check the DNA samples to unlock A Tough Job. The final trophy, Tapped Out, will unlock after completing the case. Case 4 There are two trophies specific to the fourth case. When talking to Veronica for the second time in the interrogation room she'll claim that they were only friends, Use Manny's Cellphone to refute this claim. Next she'll claim that Jessie always go to the carwash alone, use the earring to refute this claim. Next talk to Will. When he denies a relationship, use the cellphone to unlock He Said, She Said. The final trophy, All Washed Up, will unlock after completing the case. Case 5 There are two trophies specific to case five. Inside one of the boxes in the Gleason Family Self-Storage, there will be some blank papers. Head back to the lab and perform a document analysis to reveal it's contents. Near the end of the case you will unlock Beatriz Salazar's hideout. Check near the barrels to find a Hard Drive. Take it back to the lab and run a Computer Analysis to unlock Smoke The Hive. The final trophy, Boss Fight will unlock after completing the case. If this is your last case, you will also unlock CSI: Fatal Conspiracy Step Two: Clean Up At this point, the only trophies you may be missing are those that relate to Cunning, Thoroughness and Skill. The easiest way to obtain these trophies is to play through Case One again as it is quick and does not contain any advanced analysing. Make sure to check your stats via the case files on your PDA regularly. If Cunning or Skill is ever below 100%, you must restart the case. If you're worried about failing an analysis, make a save first and reload it if you mess up. Refer to each of the 100% trophies for details about failing and locations.  Completist All other trophies earned. Self-Explanatory. Unlock all other trophies for the Platinum.  Flash Baked Completed Case 1: Flash Baked. Complete the first case to unlock this trophy. Click here for a Case One walkthrough.  Planting Evidence Completed Case 2: Planting Evidence. Complete the second case to unlock this trophy. Click here for a Case Two walkthrough.  Tapped Out Completed Case 3: Tapped Out. Complete the third case to unlock this trophy. Click here for a Case Three walkthrough.  All Washed Up Completed Case 4: All Washed Up. Complete the fourth case to unlock this trophy. Click here for a Case Four walkthrough.  Boss Fight Completed Case 5: Boss Fight. Complete the fifth case to unlock this trophy. Click here for a Case Five walkthrough.  Fool Me Once Completed a case with at least 65% Cunning. See Human Polygraph.  Can't Get Fooled Again Completed a case with at least 90% Cunning. See Human Polygraph.  Human Polygraph Completed a case with 100% Cunning. Your Cunning percentage will increase or decrease when interrogating suspects and when trying to achieve a warrant. Sometimes after asking a question an exclamation mark box will pop up. Click on this and present evidence that you have collected/analysed that proves they're lying. If you pick the wrong evidence, your percentage will take a hit. If you pick the wrong evidence when trying to obtain a warrant, again, your percentage will take a hit. If you do not have the required evidence or have not analysed it, do not bother trying to contradict the suspect or request a warrant. You can check your current cunning percentage by clicking on your PDA, Case File and then Statistics. If you have presented evidence and your percentage is lower than 100, you will need to restart the case. For a guide on the evidence to select to obtain this trophy, click here. If you prefer a visual guide, here's a video for achieving 100% in each stat during case one.  CSI: Fatal Conspiracy Completed CSI: Fatal Conspiracy. This trophy will unlock after completing every case. Glitch note: Several users have not received this trophy despite completing all cases. If it glitches on you, you can delete your game data and attempt the cases again, however, this does not always work. Stargate55555 has provided another solution: I had 24/26 trophies in the game which the last two were the trophy mentioned above and the platinum. As per the suggestions of Warbear (thanks) I borrowed my friends PS3 and tried to do it on his console. Steps: Your PS3 > Account Management > System Activation > PS3 System > Game > Deactivate > if done properly a message should pop up saying "Deactivation completed". Friend's PS3 > create a new User (See Warning info below) > Sign Up as an Existing Member > use the email & password of the account you want to earn the trophy in and log in > while playing the game be sure to be off-line. Play the entire game over again and after earning the platinum (assuming it doesn't glitch on you again) sign in to the PSN and sync your trophies. Warning: if you do not create a new user on your friend's PS3 and their account was never signed up whatever trophies they have earned will also sync to you. For my demise my friend had never plugged in his PS3 to the PSN and never signed up for a PSN ID. He earned 1 trophy (God knows how long ago) in Pro Evolution Soccer 2010. Of course the online servers are closed and the 2 online trophies are no longer obtainable and I got screwed even more.  Not Up To Code Confronted Pete Baxa about asbestos in the spa. When you start Case One you will be in the Superla Spa. Click the arrow leading into the kitchen and then the ceiling. Examine the ceiling to obtain asbestos. Return to the lab and run a chemical analysis on the asbestos. 1, 5, 6 is the correct sequence. Afterwards talk to Doc Robbins twice to find out that she had cancer. Now you need to talk to Pete Baxa again. Select Barber's Shop from the locations menu on your PDA to locate him. He'll come down to identify the body and answer some questions. Ask him if she had any reason to start the fire. Select Asbestos from the evidence to contradict his statement. The trophy will not unlock until you finish the conversation.  Scavenger Hunt Found all evidence in Case 2: Planting Evidence. You need to collect all evidence in the second case. Some evidence will need to be analysed to obtain.  A Tough Job Identified both samples of DNA on the garment from John Barrett's room. Midway through case three you will gain access to John Barrett's bedroom. Check the trash can to find a fake nail and the bed to find used lingerie. Examine the lingerie to find two samples of DNA. Return to the main lab and run a DNA analysis on the fake nail collected earlier and the female sample. Then run a search on the male sample to unlock the trophy.  Sunday, Sunday, Sunday!Noticed the discrepancy in Jayne Barrett's security records. Near the beginning of Case Three you will interrogate Jayne Barrett. She will give you her house security records to back up her alibi. Return to the lab and run a document analysis to find a discrepancy in the records and unlock the trophy.  He Said, She Said Asked Will Rice about Veronica's real alibi. Near the end of Case Four you'll gain access to Manny's Trailer. Check the couch to find his cellphone containing an interesting picture. Return to Brass for a warrant to search Jessy, Will and Veronica's apartment, use the cellphone as evidence. Search Veronica's room to find an earring from the victim. Go back to Veronica in the interrogation room. When she claims that they are just friends, refute her claim with the cellphone. When she claims Jessy always goes to the carwash alone, refute her claim with the earring. Now return to Brass' office and ask to speak to Will. When he denies the relationship, use the cellphone and he will admit it's the truth. The trophy will not unlock until after finishing the conversation.  Smoke the Hive Found enough evidence to destroy Beatriz Salazar's drug empire. While interrogating Sergeant Lipp during Case Five, you will receive his phone. Run it through Audio Analysis and click on the second segment to unlock a new location, Gleason's Family Self-Storage. Select the location via your PDA and search though the boxes. In one box you will find some blank pieces of paper. Run a document analysis on the papers and adjust the three sliders to reveal the text on the document. Near the end of the case, you will unlock Beatriz Salazar's hideout. Head there and look near the barrels to find a hard drive. Return to the lab and run a computer analysis to discover the bribe sheet and unlock the trophy.  Reading is Fun! Opened the Case File. Click on your PDA located at the bottom left of your screen and select Case File to unlock the trophy.  I Like To Watch Watched a movie from the Case File. Click on your PDA located at the bottom left of your screen and select Case File > Reconstructions > Any Video to unlock the trophy.  Thanks For Playing Watched the opening sequence. This trophy will unlock after the opening sequence. You can skip cutscenes with  . Any future dialogue can be skipped with  . Under The Hood Visited the Options menu. Click on your PDA located at the bottom left of your screen and select Options to unlock the trophy.  Test Tube Washer Completed a case with at least 65% Skill. See Technically Perfect.  Research Grant Completed a case with at least 90% Skill. See Technically Perfect.  Technically Perfect Completed a case with 100% Skill. This is the hardest trophy in the game. Skill affects any analysing you perform in the lab. You can view your current skills percentage by accessing your PDA, clicking Case File and then Statistics. If you have analysed a sample in the lab and your percentage is below 100%, you will have to restart the case. I would highly recommend saving via the Options Menu before each analysis to prevent having to restart if you mess up. If you fail an analysis, simply reload. Below is a brief summary of each analysis and what counts as a fail. Chemical Analysis You need to click on the numbers on the right column so that the lines perfectly align with each other. If you click the wrong number and then un-check it, your skill percentage will take a hit. Even if you click confirm match after clicking the right numbers, it will still decrease. DNA Analysis There are two types of DNA analysis, one where you are comparing DNA and one where you are analysing it by itself. When you are comparing two DNA's, you will have to move columns of the DNA colours onto the other. If you place a column on the wrong spot your skill percentage will take a hit. If you are analysing a single DNA, you will need to pick from four options. If you pick the wrong one, your percentage will take a hit. The second part is the same as when comparing two DNA. Again If you place a column in the wrong place your percentage will decrease. Fingerprint Analysis There are two types of fingerprint analysis. When comparing fingerprints, you will need to click on the fingerprint, place it in one of the four other fingerprints and click confirm match. If you place it on the wrong fingerprint, your percentage will suffer. When analysing a single fingerprint, you will first need to click on five areas on the fingerprint. If you misplace one or click  , your percentage will suffer. The second part is the same as comparing fingerprints. Place the fingerprint on the correct fingerprint and select confirm match. If you choose the wrong print, your percentage will suffer again. My walkthrough can help you with all Chemical Analysis but can only partially assist you with the DNA and Fingerprint Analysis. For a video guide on those and obtaining 100% in all stats, refer to the following video.  Thorough Enough, Darn It Completed a case with at least 65% Thoroughness. See No Stone Unturned.  Close Counts After All Completed a case with at least 90% Thoroughness. See No Stone Unturned.  No Stone Unturned Completed a case with 100% Thoroughness. Thoroughness is increased via exploration. Whenever you see an arrow, click on it to add to your current percentage. Your total percentage can be viewed by accessing your PDA, selecting Case File and Statistics. Along with the crime scenes you must also fully explore the Main Lab, Morgue, Brass' Office and the Interrogation Room. Weird, I know. Here are the places you will have to explore within each: Main Lab
Morgue
There are no additional exploration points in Brass' Office or the Interrogation Room. Just visit them. This can be easily obtained during case one if you follow the walkthrough here. Awesome guide and walkthrough Shadow! I've been meaning to rent this game for ages, just never got around to it. Will come in very handy when I get the game
