Crystal Defenders Road Map and Trophy Guide

Hello and welcome to the trophy guide for this awesome game! I really recommend to clear all maps and get the trophies all by yourselves without using any guides, however, for the "in hurry" people, I decided to make this useful guide. Hope I will help you.

-Approx time to 100%: 3-4 hours with guide, 9-12 hours without

So where should I start? (For normal players)
First, start collecting the 10, 20 and 30 wave trophies, you can get them all by completing 1 map. After getting those, complete all maps in all worlds to get the world trophies. While completing the maps, you can use the guide to do a perfect game, without losing any crystals, which will earn you one more trophy. After 10 completed maps you should earn 50 000 points in total, that will give you a silver trophy. So now you've done all the easiest trophies, time for the tough ones! The two remaining trophies are Four-Star Strategist and Good Sameterian. I would go for Good Sameterian first, by using the guide I have written below it should be a piece of cake, but a bit annoying because you will need to run from your computer to your PS3. And finally Four-Star Strategist, I would recommend you doing as the last trophy. Just improve your highest scores and you will get it!

I really need those trophies! FAST! (For crazy trophy hunters)
If you really want it fast without even enjoying the game, then prepare a piece of paper and a pencil, because you will write a lot of stuff! So in the beginning, you can get 5 trophies at once, choose Kthilli Sands in W2 and watch the video mentioned in my guide at the Good Sameterian trophy, you can write all the turns on a piece of paper. So just copy the turns of the player in the video, and you get 5 "tadah" sounds. Then you will have to wait a little till next trophy wave will show up, complete all maps in the game, but get over 9000-10 000 points on each (easy if you use the guide), so you get Four-Star Strategist faster! So after you cleared all maps, you will earn 7 more trophies, and that's all! You got all trophies in 2 steps!!!

Novice Defender (Bronze Trophy)
Clear wave 10 on any single map.

You will get this after you succesfully finish one map (each map has 30 waves). Try the first one in W1, if you have trouble with it, you can watch DevPlay or this video to clear it.


Seasoned Defender (Bronze Trophy)
Clear wave 20 on any single map.

Again, you will get this trophy after completing 1 map, so use the DevPlay feauture or the video posted above.

Expert Defender (Bronze Trophy)
Clear all the waves on any single map.

This is the third trophy you will get by completing 1 map. Easy. No need for further information.

W1 Defender (Bronze Trophy)
Clear all the maps in W1.

You need to complete 4 maps in W1 for this trophy. You can use DevPlay or these videos* to help you complete the whole W1.

Crystal Hoarder (Bronze Trophy)
Clear a single map without losing any crystals.

You need to complete 1 map without losing any crystals. If you need help with it, see the videos I posted in the W1, W2, W3 Defender trophies, they also show you how to complete every map without losing any crystal (1 map will be enough though)

Champion Defender (Bronze Trophy)
Clear all 12 maps.

Simple, no explanation needed. If you have trouble with any map, use the videos I posted above.

Veteran Strategist (Silver Trophy)
Accumulate a total score of 50,000 points.

See "Four-Star Strategist"

Overachiever (Silver Trophy)
Clear a map with more than 10,000 points.

For this one, you need to clear a map with 10,000 or more points. You get the most points for the remaining money (Gils), so try to save them, but also don't let the monsters take any of your crystals! Try

Four-Star Strategist (Silver Trophy)
Accumulate a total score of 100,000 points.

You need to get 100,000 points in total score. Only the highest score on every map counts, for example your high score on a map is 10 000 points, then you decide to play the same map and you achieve the score of 11 000 points, your total will be 11 000 now, not 21 000!!! This is a very important note! So you gotta keep "upgrading your score" so the total of all highest scores on each available map is 100 000 points. Just play the maps where your highest score is low, try aiming for 10 000 points on each map.

Good Samaritan (Gold Trophy)
Clear a map without deploying a Thief or losing a single crystal.

After completing W2 (if I'm not mistaking) you will unlock the second page of DevPlay, there is a hint (showing 15 waves of how you should deploy your units) made especially for this trophy. Remember, you can't deploy thieves and you also can't lose any of your crystals. If the DevPlay didn't help you, try

Well without guides I would give it a 5/10 or a 6/10 of difficulty rating, but it's more fun though when you clear the map all by yourself! And no problem mate, happy that the guide came in handy.

It took me about 5 tries to clear that map!

The game is great, this guide will need some work though. For the first three trophys you can state that they are stackable, and point to the video which is in fact below rather than above your text. For the "Champion Defender" trophy could you state the names of all of the levels. A roadmap at the start of the guide would also be useful, more info on roadmaps here

A guide/ roadmap needs to be directed toward someone who has never played the game before. It's a good start to a guide and with some improvements it will be stickied and if submitted can be linked to the main site.

Well, I'm not fammiliar with the guide works here much, but I will give it a try to make it better.

I already did some changes in it so I hope it looks at least a bit better.

Thank you for the guide, surprisingly I really enjoyed the demo (downloaded it on the EU store a while ago) and now that it is in the U.S store I want to buy it.

I am into violent games but I still enjoyed/appreciated this little gem as far as the demo went. Gonna try to buy it soon!

The Kthili Sands videos seem to be both for the advanced map not the normal one.

They aren't all perfect either, some do have a margin of error in terms of crystals lost but otherwise good guide.

i got a pretty nice replay for the 10.000$ trophy and perfect clean but i dunno how i should get it to youtube o.O if anyone can help me i can upload it maybe
