You can get the trueth end on a new game + it seems some of the rumours that floated around when the game was released was not true.

But you have to complete the game on hard and get into the tue end to obtain all the titles in the database.

1 trophie is to get all titles. Hence you have to get it on hard.

So if I miss a few titles on my first playthrough, is it in fact possible to earn those titles when I start a New Game+ on Hard?

Or should I be taking care to earn all the titles I can during my current playthrough on Normal?

you can only start new game + on hard if you started on hard
u cant go from normal to new game + on hard

When I started the game on Normal, I got some message about how if I start a New Game+ on Hard I would only keep certain items and stats from my Normal playthrough.

I could have read it wrong, though.

Apparently they changed a few things between the JP and US versions, like souls not reappearing that made it harder to get Truth End on JP.

So since most of the info was taken from the JP version and few people have actually been all the way through the US version, I wouldn't take that info as absolute fact just yet. In any case, I'm sure it's been made to be a lot more forgiving than the original, at least as far as Truth End and New Game+ are concerned.

I don't have the game, yet, so I don't really know anything about the game. What exactly are "Tiles?" I know, it's probably obvious, but I haven't played the game, so I don't know...

The titles is kinda and internal achivemenlist where you have to fullfill certain conditions to earn each of the titles. Like kill x amount of a monster, or get 1 of each kind of weapon, earn 10 k gold or something similar.

There is a trophie for obtaining all the titles, but some titles require the player to have access to map 5.3 wich is only accesibel from completing the trueth ending on hard mode.

And just to clarify. You can go from a normal game to a new game+ on hard, although you will not carry over all your items.

I don't believe there are any titles from 5-3. I've got all the titles except get all of weapons/items/armor/accessories, and did all that up to 5-2. 5-3 will rape you. Same bosses/enemies plus some new ones, and they are all at much higher levels compared to 5-2 (all the way up into the 900s). If you know what you're doing though level shouldn't be too much of a factor.

Oh and you'll fight multiple bosses at the same time in 5-3, not just one like most of the battles in 5-2.

You may want to play on Hard regardless so that you can carry everything over (aside from levels) to make things easier for the long run.

And when you do a NG+, all your titles reset, but you are free to simply click on them again and claim the rewards, with the exception of the ones where you need a certain amount of items dropped from monsters (you need to have those in your inventory). Oh, and you'll need to wait until you've secured the True Ending Route to claim all those related titles (they won't appear on the list otherwise).

EDIT: Seems the titles that are "Find X amount of Souls" require you to find that amount of souls over again in a NG+ in order to get them again. Depending on what difficulty you beat the game on and carried over from, your soul search level will carry over, making finding souls a cinch.
