You and your boosting partner search versus till you get lined up from then on you will be put together everytime simply have the opposite person trying to lvl up push down on the d pad it will count as a win.I got lvl 5 in less then 10 mins with this method,sorry if it was already said hope it helps.

If you just tell it you want to play vs. friends, does it not put you in a ranked match?

Well, nevertheless, I got to level 5 with 8 wins, so it didn't seem to take that long just doing quick match.
