Well. Miraculously I found a way to fail Negotiator by too many hostage deaths. Was just playing it on solo Veteran when I came under heavy fire in the courtyard. Ran for cover and did not defuse the bomb. Well the "terrorists" set the bomb off killing EVERY hostage in that area resulting in a mission failed due to too many civilian casualties. lol Just a heads up

Thanks alot for the guide BTW it has been a HUGE help with your strategies. Great work.

The difficult section for 'Black Ice' is just the snow mobile part, you have to pick enemies off on the way. You can take your time after that. But after planting the bomb, you have to just remember a handful of guys still turn around to shoot you. To run of 13 enemies, just play it on recruit and you can reverse and do that.

'Negotiator' .. just take your own sweet time if you're playing veteran. It's a bit difficult to save them all on veteran. I saved all the hostages on the easiest difficulty and that itself took a few tries because I think the times hostages get shot are random. Just don't take too long choosing guns or anything and move swiftly.

Saving the hostages on veteran isn't the mission. Just save as many as you can.

Hmm, perhaps there is a limit depending on the difficulty of how many can die. I'll go back and find out. Glad the guide helped!

Same here. I did a quick run through on reg the first time playing, and a few died along the way. When I got to the courtyard a few more died again due to grenades and a dude I missed. It said mission failed before I got to the final breach, so I think there is a limit to how many hostages can die.

Both spec ops are straight forward. Just need to get the save all hostages trophy, but will get that co-op next time my mate is round. Looking forward to doing survival on the new maps tho.

I haven't play the missions on co-op yet, but i found that Skilled Negotiator wasn't too difficult solo and on recruit. The only part where i kept on messing up was the second last breach because two guys would go down the stairs and one would shoot a hostage, didn't realize that i could kill one of them in the slow mo breach. One time i forgot to defuse the bomb, and a few times i accidentally shot a hostage that moved into my shots, but once you know the positions of the enemies and who to take out first this trophy shouldn't be too hard solo.

Thanks for the help, really easy, negotiator took a few tries and did black ice first time. Should be a breeze for those with the original 48 stars, got my 100% back

Veteran Difficulty Made EASIER!

If you play the spec-ops missions in co-op and have the 1st player at regular difficulty and the 2nd at veteran, the 2nd player will still get the trophy for completing it on veteran!

Pretty sure this wasn't the case for the other spec op missions, I wonder why they changed it.

Are you sure Skilled Negotiator, A Baker's Dozen are missable? Surely you can play them again after you've completed them. If so then they're not missable.
Also you've listed Not on my watch as missable in your guide but not in the roadmap and Skilled Negotiator isn't listed as missable in the guide but is in the Roadmap. Also you need to input the official site tiles. They can be found here:
