Default Comet Crash Trophy Guide

Hopefully these videos and descriptions will help. I recommend having sound turned on - as I narrate the strategy.

Complete Training
Bronze Trophy

Complete the Training mode
Seriously, if you need instructions to 'go to the menu, select Training, and complete it', you suck

Box Kill 20
Bronze Trophy
Kreios Area 1, Ranked: Kill 20 units that have been boxed in and trapped with weapons
This one is really simple. First campaign mission (Kreios, level 1). I created a snaking route at the bottom, with a blocked shortcut. Wait for enemies to enter the long trail, open the shortcut, then block their trail front and back. You can tell they're blocked in when they stop walking along a fixed path, and more laze around waiting to die. Kill 20 total, not 20 in one group.

Box Kill 50
Bronze Trophy

Kreios Area 3, Ranked: Kill 50 units that have been boxed in with weapons

Do the same as in Box Kill 20, but use this, or a similar pattern. It's dead simple.
Create self-sustaining base, in supplied pattern,
Block off short route, forcing enemies into long route,
Wait until they're at least halfway though, open the shortcut, and quickly block the ends of the long run. Lather, rinse, repeat.

Box Kill 200
Bronze Trophy
Helios Area 22, Ranked: Kill 200 units that have been boxed in with weapons

As I explain in the video, theres a huge area to block off. The carriers make your job easier by conveniently crashing in the boxed area, where you get to go to town on the little dudes. Yay.

Kreios Shortcut
Bronze Trophy

Kreios Area 5, Ranked: replace a key enemy structure to create an optimal path to the enemy Base

Quickly build an attack tower, and destroy their gate crystal. Replace it with your own. Dead simple!

Hathor Shortcut
Bronze Trophy

Hathor Area 9, Ranked: replace key enemy structures to create an optimal path to the enemy Base

Aether Shortcut
Bronze Trophy
Aether Area 20, Ranked: replace a key enemy structure to create an optimal path to the enemy Base

Shoot the hell out of their crystal, then replace it. Dead simple!

Kreios Area 7
Silver Trophy

Complete Comet Kreios Area 7 at Ranked difficulty

Braindead easy:

Hathor Area 14
Silver Trophy

Complete Comet Hathor Area 14 at Ranked difficulty

Oops, I forgot to record this one. It's simple. Feel free to ask if you need help. I believe in you.

Aether Area 21
Silver Trophy
Complete Comet Aether Area 21 at Ranked difficulty
Another simple race to the other guy 1-life level.

Triple-Decker Tanks
Silver Trophy

Hathor Area 12, Ranked: Produce a compressed flow of tanks by collapsing the trail multiple times

Thanks to Eternal Spoon for the tip - works like a charm! Build a strong defensive base, you know, survive. My video starts several minutes in, because if you see what I have built, you can replicate it. Ready the armoury! We need LOTS of tanks!
1. Start a solid flow of tanks outbound,
2. Once they're nearing the enemy area, force them to do a 180 by blocking the path they chose.
3. Once there are plenty stacked up for turning around, reopen the path, and reverse it again!
4. Keep doing this, only takes a few (4 or 5) reversals (triple decker)

Helios Area 28
Gold Trophy

Complete Comet Helios Area 28 at Ranked difficulty

Full instructions quoted in the post below this - attack, defend, and piss cpu's lasers off.

I've gotten lots of suggestions from various people - Thanks Eternal_Spoon, chucknorris078, and LoveRice (sp? will correct when I can confirm)

Comet Crash STRATEGY guide (not for trophies, but for level awesome-ing)

Special thanks to LoVeRiCe for the EXCELLENT tips and strats:

Level 26 (Helios)

FORGET THE DRONES altogether, instead, try going SwitchBalls and Tanks. You would only need approximately a dozen Switchballs and a very good amount of tanks, I'd say about 4 times the amount of damage needed to destroy their base. USE THE MASS LASER hint. You'll need it for enemy CARREIRS and DRONES.

Make sure when you send ALL your 12-20 or so Switchballs, sell the Special Ops and Basic Ops right away and then immediately send ALL your TANKS. Used the funds you gained from selling the Ops and upgrade any ANTI-AIR/GROUND towers that you are weak on.

This other optional method is by creating a short cut for your units. Make sure you have a GATEWAY at the very top middle of the level, that way, your SWITCHBALLS and TANKS can bypass 2, even 3 unneccessary enemy Pulsar towers.

Level 28 (Helios) - Again thanks LoVeRiCe!

1)You start out the game with $1000. You have to be quick about this, first off make 2 Basic Ops at the very top center so that it blocks off the backdoor from the right. Immediately upgrade both the Basic Ops to "Drones" by doing so, it will cost you $600 altogether ($400 remains).

2)Now make a Laser Towers on both left and right of your HQ, so that's 2 Laser Towers. Next, run down under the rock just under your HQ and make 3 Laser Towers, bringing you a total of 5 Laser Towers, no need to upgrade them. This will cost you $150 ($250 remains).

3)Quickly run over to just the left of your HQ and line up from the last rock with 3 Pulsar Towers Horizontal. Then quickly run straight down halfway towards the Enemy's HQ and just outside you should make 2 Pulsar Towers just above the rocks, but make sure the Pulsars are directly diagonal to 2 enemy Laser Towers, if you place them correctly, your Pulsars will attack their Laser *keep this in mind for later steps because you will have to keep an eye out for this nearly half the game because the very second the enemy laser tower is destroyed, you have to be very quick and place another Pulsar before they can rebuild a new Laser there* (Your broke now =P).

4)By 1 minute and 45 seconds in, you should have 6 Pulsars lined up at the topleft corner, failure to do so will result in enemy Torpedos to run right through. You should also have 8-9 Lasers in the center of the map just under our previous ones. If everything is there, then you're in good shape soldier.

5)I hope you're keeping up with the Pulsar harassment with the enemy Lasers at the bottom left corner near their HQ because this will make or break the game for you. By now, 2-4 enemy Lasers at their HQ should have been destroyed and replaced with your own Pulsar to harass the other enemy Laser at their HQ.

6)This is very important, collect and drag EVERY Astroid passing through even if it cot you your spacecraft. You will need every resource, you can let some small ones go, but don't let any big ones pas you by.

7)3 minutes in you should have about 12-15 Pulsars lined up in a maze and about 20-24 Lasers massed in the cneter of the map.

*Optional)You can save up to $300 and then make another Basic Ops with "Drones", but be warned that this can cost you the game or beat the game faster for you, that's all on you.

8)Keep massing Lasers in the center, you should have 30-35 Lasers by 5 minutes in and about a long maze of Pulsars most of the left side of the map, which should probably consist of at the very least 25 Pulsars. *If you ask why so many, that's why it's very important to gather every Astroid that come flying by, you will need all the resource.

9)Remember back in step 3, well, you should by now destroyed all but 3 enemy Lasers at their HQ and had replaced them with your Pulsars. Why can't you attack the other 3 enemy Lasers is because it's blocked by enemy Pulsar. *Don't bother trying to take it out, waste of money and time.

10)Simply place a WayPoint right above the rocks at the left side of the map where your maze of Pulsars should be. Now all you do is keep up with the mass Lasers and the maze of Pulsars until your attack count of Drones is at 150. NOW SEND all your Drones and immediately sell all your Basic Ops because you won't need them anymore, but you will need some money to upgrade any Lasers and/or Pulsars, because at this point, tey will be sending everything they have to get to your base first. Oh yeah, do not forget, after selling your Basic Ops to block off the backdoor with any tower you wish.

If everything was done correctly, it's a guarantee flawless victory.
Video soon!

Any ideas for triple decker tank? I'm on that mission but can't figure it out. I know all the shortcuts so if you need them let me know, but I doubt you didn't figure it out master of tower strategy games. lol

I just picked it up last night, and am stuck at work till 7pm mst tonight. I'm up all night getting ready for 36 hours from now night shift Feel free to post what you've got, and hypothesis.

The words 'triple decker' make me think you have to strategically release 3 groups of them, then break 2 shortcuts at just the right time so they all end up on top of each other. give me...5 hours and I'll work on it

trying that now, don't do what i did make sure you only build tank generators since they all fight for the same energy source. Cuz you need a butt load of tanks.

Already got 100% on this.

For the tank one, you know how you kinda have that big circle loop that splits into two paths? Just open and close one side to make them go back and forth and clutter up (they'll need to backtrack to go the other way and will "merge" in with the other tanks). You'll need to do that a few times and the Trophy should pop up.

I used a whole ****load of tanks though, which was probably excessive, and I don't know if numbers are a factor or not. I took over the enemies side completely though, so I could casually take my time .
