How many people's platinum was ruined by babel?

Obelisk. Since you get 7-8 wide sections, the slider becomes useful as always. It is the middle section that will give most players the pain when monster blocks really start coming out. Try to make use of them as fast as-possible to prevent a solution from getting away.

I also prefer to go in with the assumption if you have use a mystery block, its 80% likely going to be a bomb. That helps to in-grain the low margin of error you have, and to get your focus to setup your foundation correctly the first, and only time you'll have. All this stuff sounds simple, but its intuition that helps, some luck with the pattern you get, and a little skill too.

What kind of puzzles are in babel mode? How long are they? Is this game similar to any games on the market so I have a reference for difficulty?

Try play in Pairs mode, if you can manage two characters at the same time (which isn't hard to learn) you can eat Babel for breakfast

Ive never played a game like this one before. I wanted to try something different, the story is really good as well as the game play. Babel is by far the hardest aspect of this game and really tests your patience and nerve. Have a look at some youtube videos of what its like.

Babel didnt exactly ruin my plat, as I got it in about 2 weeks of having started the game. I tried the first stage after completing only a few story levels and though that i would never get the plat. As people have mentioned, using two controllers helps alot. I felt as if this was cheating, and got through the first 3 babel stages on my own, but axis mundi is just something else!!!

I almost thought Obelisk & Axis Mundi will make my platinum for this game impossible but after weeks of practice I finally did both of them in pairs. Like some people, I found Axis Mundi to be easier than Obelisk maybe because of the randomness involved in the latter. I'm only lacking Golden Child & the 3 Rapunzel trophies for the platinum, I hope I didn't hit a steel wall again this time.

I heard about Axis Mundi being glitched (as well as experiencing it firsthand), so I tried on Pairs with my best friend, and his "helping" was doing way more harm since it was screwing with my solutions.

Then I tried it with my girlfriend, who also wanted to help (unfortunately moreso than my friend), so she ruined it too.

Then I played it with my cousin, who, (a) had never played it before, and (b) refused to "get the hand of it" on the lower difficulties.

Surprisingly, he only cared about helping me platinum it, so after a few tries, and with him doing exactly as I told him to, we got to the top.

.....He hung behind the pedestal at the top and pressed L2 to make Katherine scream so I thought he killed himself. >_>

At any rate, thanks to my cousin doing exactly what I needed, I finally got the platinum!

Finally picked this game up after pretty much an entire year. Took me a couple hours to finally beat Altar, 40 minutes later I beat Menhir. I hope they get easier.
