Sorry but I have to point out a few things wrong with this guide. The major thing is that you used your trials guide from someone else's post on the net and did not give them credit, another note, the platinum takes more like 40-60 hours. There is no 2-3 playthroughs for this, it is a requirement of 3, and that is it. 1 Playthrough on Knight Difficulty to unlock Paladin Difficulty, 1 Playthrough on Paladin and then another complete playthrough for all the trials as you are unable to unlock the trials until you complete the level.

Another thing I would like to note, to make things easier on everyone. Collect as many Gems/Upgrades as you can throughout your first playthrough, then go back and do your trials before tackling Paladin, do this playthough on Squire, using all of your current upgrades and relics to obtain the rest of them.

After all this by the time you start your paladin playthrough you will have become extremely well versed at what is to come in this game and you will be completely upgraded. Paladin mode is actually not to far in difficulty from Knight, the best part is that if you unlock all your upgrades as well you can just spam Shadow/Light ultimate attacks to kill bosses with ease and lose no HP during the fights. I am currently working on a complete video walkthrough, which is done, just needs to be edited. I have more than half the trials completed with this and will gladly share the link for you all when I have completed editing and uploaded the videos.

One last note, all the artwork only costs about 1,500 - 2,000 EXP and you cannot obtain this trophy until AFTER watching the final video as there is an art section for that as well.

And no, this does not work. Once you switch between difficulties, it won't register.

sorry bud but its NOT A REQUIREMENT to do 3 complete play throughs. you dont even have to start your first play through on knight, it could be easy and youll still unlock paladin difficulty. most people should be able to do most trials on paladin with only a handful that need to be done on easy.

also, 2 people have already got the plat in under 25 hours. im at 23 hours right now and half way through paladin and the trials (would have been less but i started on knight thinking i had to play through that to unlock paladin). 60 hours to plat this is very VERY unlikely unless youre absolutely terrible at this game.

You're right 60 hrs was a little too much, I was thinking more about how long I've been taking with it not playing it straight through. Also thought Paladin unlocked only after Knight, however as I stated before it should take 3 seeing as the trials are much faster on Squire rather than Paladin, I have gone half-way through the trials all on squire, taking me 2-5 minutes a level... Why waste more time doing them on paladin? Regardless, he still stole his material from another website. And I would say 25-35 for the plat. Yes if that's all you do, but seeing as how I have 6 games to work on currently, I like juggling.

Kill the 3 skeletons without breaking their shields: These skeletons like to block, don't attack them while they are blocking, this will only hurt their shields and they will break if you continue. Counter alot to stun them, use holy water and faeries.
On these two trials btw, you also cannot be hurt by Brauner's blade or the trial will reset, and as for the skeletons, the fastest and EASIEST way, is to just use your Dark Crystal.

the trials really arent any faster on squire. like with the kill goblins 30 times with their own grenades. its just as fast in squire as it is in paladin to sit there and spam r2 to grab them and light their grenades on fire. same goes for puzzle trials. only ones you should need to do on easy are some of the boss ones. the titan trials are exactly the same on any diff cuz no matter what diff you cant get hit either way.

Oh man I would LOVE to see some proof of me stealing the trial guide that I'm still making.

I counted and added up every piece, it's 2395.

hey.. just a tip for easy experience points.. there are some points in the game when you need a Warg to get to some places.. fight him, after you mount on him, just kill him.. take some step backward and when you come back there's will be a new warg appears.. 100 experiece points with easy.. (an example it's on chapter 3 at the tree towers...

though you shouldn't farm for experience if you don't have any problems since you will easily get enough exp for all combos (and 100k trophy) during your second playthrough

Good guide so far, it's getting there

Only got the game yesterday, played it for a few hours on Knight difficulty. I'm also one of those who puts it on the second-hardest difficulty to get a bit of practice for the hardest difficulty. You do PT1 slower but then can get through PT2 relatively easily because you know how tough it will be.

Speaking of difficulty, seems quite a tough game so far but only just at the end of Chapter I and still getting used to things. I presume things get easier later on when you unlock and upgrade but also harder because of the tougher enemies.
