Q? If we played on easy 1st will it unlock the hardest Difficulty ?

Well I beat chapter one on hard and I can't choose paladin difficulty for it. Is there a way to change difficulty other than in the pause menu?
Also in chapter two iet it back down to warrior. Don't know if that makes any difference but it shouldn't since I beat every stage in chapter one on hard.

How do you select the hardest difficulty?

I'm fairly sure completing the game on any difficulty (at least normal and up) unlocks paladin on all levels.

I can confirm clearing the game on easy unlocks Paladin mode.

not far just finished first playthrough an hour ago. next is paladin playthrough + collectables + trials that are managable on paladin
