Lemmerman
Another guide has been chosen as the preferred guide for this game. This thread has been closed and is not maintained and as a result may contain outdated or incorrect information. Please follow the link below for the preferred guide. *Direct link to stickied guide* Captain America: Super Soldier Trophy Guide and Roadmap Overview: -Estimated trophy difficulty: N/A (Platinum Difficulty Rating Thread) -Offline: 50 (32, 5, 3) -Online: 0 -Approximate amount of time to /100%: 10-15 hours -Minimum number of playthroughs needed: 1 + Free Roam -Number of missable trophies: None, due to Free Roam, unlocked once the game is complete. -Glitched trophies: None so far. -Does difficulty affect trophies?: No. -Do cheat codes disable trophies?: No cheat codes. Roadmap Step 1 – Playthrough Start the game on any difficulty you wish, since there are no difficulty related trophies. Throughout this playthrough you will unlock all of the Story Related trophies, as well as quite a few of the Combat Related trophies without too much effort. Focus on completing the story, as well as collecting as many collectibles as you can to minimize any back-tracking you may need to do. As you travel through the levels, keep your eyes peeled for collectibles, sewer doors and AA guns. If you go a little out of your way, you’ll likely find something trophy related in almost every chapter. Also, pick up as many Hydra dossiers and briefcases as possible to give you Intel points. These will contribute to your upgrade system, as well as working you towards two trophies. Once you have completed all 18 chapters, watch the credits through to the end for another trophy. You should now unlock Free Roam. Step 2 – Story Mode Clean Up From the main menu, select Continue Game and you should be able to travel through Castle Zemo and collect any missing trophies, either finding collectibles, destroying AA guns, smashing statues, blowing up cans or using sewer doors. Step 3 – Challenge Mode After completing Story Mode, you should have unlocked all of the Challenges for Challenge Mode. They each pose a different type of Challenge, from killing enemies in a time limit to collecting items or staying alive for a period of time. When you select a Challenge, it will give you the criteria to unlock the different rankings, Gold, Silver and Bronze. Complete all of the Challenges to Gold rank in order to unlock all of the trophies for Challenge Mode. Edited December 2, 2013 by Terminator Added a link to the stickied guide. A counter will appear on the screen each time you defeat a certain number, so you will soon see how close you are to unlocking this trophy. It should only take a few chapters to unlock this. http://www.ps3trophies.org/forum/../images/trophies/769/B73.jpgSnipe Hunthttp://www.ps3trophies.org/forum/../images/site/icons/trophy_bronze.png 25 Snipers defeated Snipers are those soldiers with guns which stand out of your reach, usually on a balcony, and fire on you. Reflect their bullets back by pressing L1 when the two white lines collide and they should be killed. If you get a Sniper bonus, you know you’ve killed one of these, and killing 25 will net you the trophy. http://www.ps3trophies.org/forum/../images/trophies/769/2DC.jpgWho's the Bully Now?http://www.ps3trophies.org/forum/../images/site/icons/trophy_silver.png 101 advanced enemies defeated Advanced enemies are those who take a bit more time to defeat; the Wardens, Screamers, Elites, etc. Defeat 101 of these and you will unlock the trophy. It’s unlikely you’ll get this during your story mode playthrough, but kills in Challenge Mode also add to this total. A good place to grind out this trophy is Challenge #6 – Ballroom Blitz, the one with the grenade launcher and the waves of enemies. If you can last the 4 minutes required for the Gold rank, you will kill quite a lot of Scorchers, who contribute to this trophy. http://www.ps3trophies.org/forum/../images/trophies/769/D85.jpgAnd They All Fall Downhttp://www.ps3trophies.org/forum/../images/site/icons/trophy_bronze.png 4 Enemies KO'd with a single Focused Shield Throw You can get this as soon as the game directs you to use the move. Lock on to four different enemies and then release the shield, and this should unlock when they are all defeated. The game automatically fills your Focus Bar so this is the perfect place to unlock it. http://www.ps3trophies.org/forum/../images/trophies/769/ADA.jpgUnfriendly Firehttp://www.ps3trophies.org/forum/../images/site/icons/trophy_bronze.png 10 Enemies defeated with a weaponized enemy You should unlock this ability in Chapter 5; by pressing R1 and Triangle, grab the enemy facing you, and use him to defeat as many enemies as you can with R2 (This takes up 2 Focus Bars). If you haven’t unlocked it before then, there is an excellent place to finish this trophy off in Chapter 8, just after rescuing Dugan, and in Chapter 15 when heading to the Chapel Path. http://www.ps3trophies.org/forum/../images/trophies/769/23D.jpgPow, Right in the Kisser!http://www.ps3trophies.org/forum/../images/site/icons/trophy_bronze.png Performed 50 Crippling Strikes Crippling Strikes are unlocked right at the end of the Prologue level. You should be able to find and destroy all of them during the main game, with only a little backtracking. If you follow the Collectibles Guide, you will likely find all of the more out of the way guns in your hunt. In the spoiler tag are their locations, as well as how many guns are found in each area, with thanks to saintdave. Blow up every can that you find, and this will soon appear. You can also blow up computer banks, gas tanks, or trucks and they will also contribute to the total. http://www.ps3trophies.org/forum/../images/trophies/769/29B.jpg Need a Head?http://www.ps3trophies.org/forum/../images/site/icons/trophy_bronze.png 50 Statues destroyed Around Castle Zemo are numerous statues and busts that you can smash with your shield/fists. If you see them, smash as many as you can on your first pass, so that you can get this trophy as soon as possible. I found that Chapters 9 and 10 were very useful for this, since there were lots of statues in the garden maze/estate area. Smash 50 and this trophy will unlock. http://www.ps3trophies.org/forum/../images/trophies/769/17A.jpg Beautiful Mindhttp://www.ps3trophies.org/forum/../images/site/icons/trophy_bronze.png 13 Enigma Keypads decrypted There are more than 13 Enigma Keypads hidden around Castle Zemo, but you only need 13 for this trophy. Some you must find in order to progress, and others are more hidden. When using one, use the left and right sticks to move the two halves of code so that the common letter/number on both sides touch. I’m almost certain that this is story related, and unmissable as a result, but since I can’t confirm that, I’ve left it in the Misc. Section. In the spoiler section below are the first 13 that I personally found on my first playthrough, so you can use these to get the trophy as quickly as possible, but don’t fret if you miss one or two since there are plenty more throughout the game. [spoiler=4] Chapter 1 - After fighting the two soldiers, after dropping out of the plane. Chapter 1 - After the tutorial on blocking ranged attacks, this will be on the wall. Chapter 2 - On the left of the door from which the shielded soldiers appear. Chapter 3 - After finding the code for the lift, you must use this one to access said lift. Chapter 3 - In the barn, on the upper level. Chapter 3 - In the Motor Pool, upper level. Chapter 3 - In the tunnels outside after destroying the Armory. Chapter 3 - At the top of the stairs after you've destroyed the Armory. Chapter 6 - In the cellblock, next to the first door you come to. Chapter 6 - Next to the door leading to Zola's Lab. Chapter 6 - Down a ramp in the first area of the Laboratory. Chapter 6 - When you hear the code for the cellblock, this is next to the radio. Chapter 6 - On the other side of the radio, next to the previous one. http://www.ps3trophies.org/forum/../images/trophies/769/7D1.jpg Sewer Rathttp://www.ps3trophies.org/forum/../images/site/icons/trophy_bronze.png All 12 Sewer entrances used As you progress, you will uncover doors that lead into an underground sewer system. This is the equivalent of the game’s Fast Travel system. This trophy is easiest to get once you have completed the game, since all of the Sewer entrances should be open. Simply head into the Sewer via the nearest door and travel to each of the other doors in the system. Exit the sewer and re-enter each door until you have used all 12 entrances, and this should unlock. You can minimise the time required for this trophy by using any Sewer doors you see during your initial playthrough, and by noting down which doors you have used so that you don’t spend time using doors that you’ve used before. In the spoiler section is a list of all 12 Sewer Entrances, so you can tick them off as you go through them. kdrcraig
The game kinda steals too much from Batman. I can think of worse things for a movie tie-in game to do than steal ideas from one of the best super hero games I've ever played.

PrimalCarnage
Guide looks awesome. So far everything seems pretty straight forward. And the collectibles don't seem to bad. So far it is definitely one of the better movie-tie in games. I'm a huge Cap fan so I prefer this over X-Men origins. The devs definitely picked the right game to mimic, Batman: AA is a damn good game.

TyrantII
I can think of worse things for a movie tie-in game to do than steal ideas from one of the best super hero games I've ever played. I don't think it steals enough if we go by the reviews. Also frak that to multiple collection trophies. Talk about dragging your game out.
Lemmerman
It does feel like Arkham Asylum a lot, from the setting to the combat, but it IS it's own game, and a very good game for Cap fans. My main problem was just that it was so short. I'd have loved it to be maybe twice as long.

Sarahgyna
is it just me - or did they pull the trophy icons off windows 2000? lol they look so...generic and lame. Brings up how Trophies will look if they ever add em in PSHome... god tat be embarrassing to have these graze my walls. moving on... I saw a few other reviews of it elsewhere, and it seems it will be similer to most action type games, with nothing too flashy, or hard - but enough to keep u intrested. On my gamefly list now ^_^
