I found a few ways to deal with the 88's in the last few days. On Sunday afternoon I ran through the last 4 missions on recruit just to get the trophies Grave Robber, War Hero, Guardian Angel, Mortar-Dom, The Last Stand, and Stabbed In The Heart. I was running through as fast, as I could. When it came to the 88's, I ran past all of them without blowing any of them up. I went all the way to the stairway shooting anything that moved, then rested. After a few minutes the Germans had retreated, or been killed, and I was able to walk back to the 88's and blow them up without any difficulty, or resistance. This morning I started Heart Of The Reich on Veteran I wasn't able to run all the way past the 88s, but I did manage to get the first 2 without using the panzershreckythingy, rocket launcher. I know there are at least 3 of the rocket launchers, and I have been able to back up, and shoot the back left 88 from just in front of the front left 88, but when I shoot at the back right 88 from the hole in the wall at the back of the little building the rocket always hits some invisible object, and explodes before hitting the 88. I'm tempted to try to run past it into the other building as I did in recuit, then go up to the second floor, and try to blow it up from above, and behind it. There is also a rocket launcher in the 3 story building in the middle of the area that I found on Sunday. This is really the only hard part of this mission, and I look forward to getting the veteran trophy for it this evening. With any luck I will have the vetern trophy for Downfall, and the Hardend War Hero trophy tomorrow night.

Shooting the 88's don't work anymore after you get the first one. On mines I hit it, but it don't destroy like you said. I'm shooting from the coner of the tank and in wide open but it keeps hitting it. Fail on WAW.

what part of the 88 are you shooting on HOTR, I can obviously get the first 88 on the right since that one is insanely easy but the second (first on the left) I can't get for the life of me. I've tried shooting the thing with the Panzerfaust multiple times and it just won't explode.....any thoughts? I'd do anything for that check point after getting the first 2 88's

Hmm, since Mw2 im up to all CoD games, i did enjoy Mw2 alot. Playing on veteran was going well so i tryed the same fight style on BO and WaW, for me was Mw2 the easyest game on veteran of CoD. Bo was a hard, WaW tho. even the Classic CoD is a bitch to get plat or some veteran trophies. See how its going but i hope those tut will help me alot in veteran progress for WaW.
