I thought cod4 and 5 (waw) they're very similar not much difference except on 4 I get team killed and the guy doesn't get kicked and 5 has more connection problems, both great games though

there wasnt many glitches on cod 4 there was about 3 that you could do without old school, and they didnt give you much of an advantage because evetyone new about them sooo.

I was in xtra-vision the day and there was a pre-order / coming soon list. It had MW2, AC 2, Bio 2, and Halo 3 ?

am i mistakin but Halo 3 is already out. Do they mean like halo wars or something.

Halo ODST is a FPS and comes out on September 23rd (?), it's midway between a Halo3 expansion and a brand new game built on the Halo 3 engine, basically Halo3 1/3 (but without Masterchief)

Back on topic I think both COD 4 & 5 were very good games (certainly in terms of offline) and both rate as AAA imo. If I had to decide between the two then clearly COD4 would win with it's superior storyline and level design, however with the exception of COD3 (which I've not played) the whole series has been of a very high standard.

I would have bought it anyway...I love shooters and love WWII games. Everyone was upset that they made "yet another WWII game" but I wasn't.

I think both games lag like a motherfucker...I usually call the series "Lag of Duty" and that's a well deserved moniker. COD4 has the leg up on connection though but is still laggy and I have a 20mb connection.

Part of the problem is the games are so precise you can't have any lag at all and their matchmaking system blows goats. I love being matched up with Brits or Germans....NOT!

I enjoyed it very much the story isnt as intriging as cod4 but i had fun and the plat is a challenge which is also fun.

I agree, both games do lag, ALOT. If WaW lags too much I play MW, then after 30 mins it starts laging. Then I get pissed off and start calling other people basterds, assholes and everything else lol I HOPE MW2 isn't like this.
