Finding the C4 spawn kill spots (Survival)

Are you trying to get a trophy or something? Because if you are not and you are doing this just to set a record for yourself, then it seems a bit of a hassle to make all this thinking ahead, but that's just me.

C4 is pretty unreliable at later rounds anyway, there were cases where I used 3 C4 on a guy in Wave 34 and he just wouldn't go down. By booby-trapping the whole place you are more likely to get killed yourself if you are not careful.

No, let me explain it. I'm sick of people who think everything is about trophies. There are people in the world, you might no believe it, who play games not just for trophies or they keep playing after the platinum. I do that. I enjoy Survival mode a lot and I want to improve. And I make videos of it.

And I'm quite sure that 3 C4's is enough to kill a FAD soldier at wave 34.
And how am I suppose to kill myself if I camp somewhere and at the start of the wave the spawn trap explodes and kills half or less of the soldiers.
How is that going to get me killed? Explain it, I don't get it.

In that case, sorry for being sarcastic. I just sensed some attitude at your answer towards me and I just don't like it.

I'm not one to care only for trophies, you can take my word, I've played hundreds of hours online and not for trophies, purely for fun.

In all honesty though, whether you like it or not, this is a trophy site and you can't judge someone if all they care about is trophies. Some people find satisfaction in earning trophies and then moving on a new game, others like yourself, like to play one game for a lot of time and do different things, like the C4 tactic. Also, I said you would get killed if you are not careful. Don't know if you missed that part.

Anyway, I think we all derailed the thread with this conversation. I'll just leave it at that and stop this, so you can gather some information about the C4 tactic. So try not to respond to me. That would be best.

I'm doing Underground and trying to find the spots in the pre-jugg wave and the jugg wave. The only thing that bothers me is that it looks like if the spawns are random and can be at different spots at the map. And ofcourse the place where you start the wave has influence. Anyway, I tried a lot of different things.

I tried only C4, and trigger the explosion 2 seconds after the wave starts so that more enemies have spawned.

I tried putting claymores with the C4 so that it would explode right away. It only sucks that some enemies spawn like a second later so they don't get killed.

So I tried putting claymores a little further away from the C4 so they if the first soldiers walks away he walks over the claymore and that trigger the explosion of the C4 and kills the other soldiers. This is hard to do, since the claymores have a pretty big range for exploding. So I would have to place them further away, but then the C4 may not explode.
So atleast I know that won't work.

I could also try putting only C4 and then 1 or 2 extra in the direction they will walk too. So I have a bigger chance I kill them all.
The downside is that at later waves 2 C4 doesn't kill a soldier.

Another thing is that some spawns are inside and it's hard for me to locate the exact spawn spot. I use a predator ofcourse, so I can't see the inside.


So I want to ask you fellows 3 things.

1) Are the spawns really random and what could I do about that to increase the chance of spawnkilling the most enemies?
2) Which way should I use to spawn kill them?
3) What should I do to locate the exact spawns inside?

Here's one:



This works even without C4. Just stand where the star is and pop out to look where the C4 marker is, enemies will spawn there. Kill them fast enough and more will continue to spawn there if you kill all three that spawn there.

Enemies also spawn somewhere around where the other yellow star is. After detonating the C4, run inside and expect some enemies to already be running towards the door to the hallway shooting at you.
