Is call of duty elite really worth buying?

There doesn't seem to be a whole lot of clan ops at the moment. I think the last one I did was a TD one...I was expecting a bit more =/

Not in its current state, especially for us PS3 players. The maps aren't that good anyways.

The maps in MW3 haven't impressed me all that much. And the new ones are alrite but not great either. Hopefully, as someone mentioned, when Black Ops 2 comes around things will be much better. But as of this moment I don't feel like I'm getting anything out of it really. I don't think it would hurt anyone to wait.

Do you want an extra prestige token? Could use the extra 16 slots in the Vault, HD uploads and the additional 30 seconds added to the limit for clips that can be uploaded? Sure, go for it.

Yup, or if the trend continues, 59 second videos since there has to be that split second loading screen at the start of your uploaded clip that makes an ear-splitting noise when the video starts. It's pissing me off, oh, take away 1 second from the cap, that's fine, but does that one second have to be used to make me deaf if I'm using Earphones (which I always am when watching videos on Youtube.)

Apologies if this post asks some "stupid" questions but I would appreciate help/advice.

I am a non-elite Modern Warfare 3 player and confused about how to buy the necessary content to enable me to obtain the DLC trophies.

Presumably I can/will be able to buy a pack from the PSN store for £xxx. Is this "pack" even available yet and if not when will it be? or do I HAVE to be an Elite pass holder?

If yes, how much is an elite pass in GBP? I have also read that the elite is full of bugs, is this true?

i think it's just available to elite users right now...but i may be wrong. someone can correct me if this isn't true.

I apologize in advance but I am unsure of some of the prices in GBP.

In order for Non Premium Elite members to buy the DLC, they need to wait for the first DLC to be released.

When the first DLC pack is released, it will cost 14.99 USD and have all the DLC. You do not need to be an Elite pass holder to buy the DLC from the PS store.

An Elite pass costs 49.99USD or around 34.99 GBP. This is a one year membership, you will get the DLC early, and there are no additional costs for future DLCs. Elite is full bugs, but IW is slowly ironing them out.
