Spec Ops Fire Mission possible with 1 controller?

Hey, iv been trying to do Fire Mission on Spec Ops with a Sixaxis and Rock Band drums, i konw it sounds weird, and belive me it is.
Why i chose this way? Well simples.
I can't go online as my router broke and im gonna have a new one in 2 weeks or so, now i dont have that time as i have to give MW3 back to my friend who i lented it from hence why im doing it like that. My question would be if its even possible to do it with 2 controllers, 1 being sixaxis and second Rock Band drums. Iv been trying for 2 hours and iv done till the 1st checkpoint, after that ill die somehow. Does anyone have any strategies to share or something, this is the last specops to three star, then ill have my plat. Please, any help would be greatly appriciated.

Also i have Wifi via USB, can i somehow use it on ps3?

bring your friend over, have him bring a real controller, play, plat.

You won't be able to complete fire mission without another player. Fire mission is all about speed. You definitely need a friend to help you do it.

Fuu, well i live out of town so that doesnt make things easier, as my friends arent really gamers at all. Hmm, could i connect my USB WIFI dongle with my ps3 somehow? It doesnt work directly.

Your friends aren't gamers, yet he borrowed you mw3? He sounds fully capable of playing said game. You guys must not have a drivers license if being out of town is what's holding ya up. Gl with that.

A mobile dongle wouldnt work, i think... its DL and UL speed is terrible so even if it did work it would be lagging everywhere.

Rockband controllers might work, but you would only be able to control the player using the controller.

The only way your going tobe able to do it is to have the rockband controller be the sentry gun and the controller be the guy.

Theres about a 2% chance youll do it that way though, too many enemies to kill and the timer doesnt help, but if its your only option then youll have to try.

If you're trying to do this by yourself on veteran, it'll be insanely hard.

There probably is a way it is possible but its definitely better if you can find someway to get a second person, without the second person youll have to deal with helicopters shooting at you and a much larger amount of enemies.

you can connect your ps3 to the internet through your laptop/desktop using a dongle my friend had do this for a while until he got fixed broadband,i couldn't tell you how to do it though..
