I know many have gotten this trophy, but for some reason I cannot and I have heard of others having this problem as well. I only need Arms Dealer, Danger Zone and Defence Spending. I have not even tried for the first 2 yet since Defence Spending won't pop. I know I have bought everything multiple times, on solo and online with a friend, we even checked off our lists at the same time (since he hadn't even tried to get the trophy yet) and it popped for him and not me. I even tried doing the trophy on same account, different ps3. I have now deleted my entire mw3 saved data and installed files and am starting over. anyone have any ideas on what's wrong? why does it hate my account! lol

does the dlc count towards the overachiever trophy?

No it doesn't, only the main spec ops count.

It has already been confirmed ages ago that the DLC Special Operations missions do NOT count towards Overachiever. It would be a major disadvantage to normal players if that was the case where it DID count.

I can understand why they did it that way, but I don't think it would be a major disadvantage because people with the DLC paid for it fair and square.

I found the two spec ops in the first DLC much easier than some of the last few normal special ops missions. So if I missed out the ones I had trouble with and got the plat without doing them, it would be an advantage

It wouldn't be a disadvantage to normal players it would only be a advantage to players that payed more, which is a very common thing in IW's games.

guys whos up for DLC trophies I only need veteran trophies for the following

-iron clad
-nigotiator ( also I'm able to do it alone but somehow I feel more confident with partner)

the rest of trophies I got them

for A BAKER'S DOZEN trophy

(running over 13 enemies) follow my strategy

the key is to slow your time

if you come to a complete stop with your snowmobile, the enemies on snowmobiles will get off and start to shoot you down. but if not kill one of the every two on thier mobiles then make a complete stop that way the other guy will get out of snowmobile just go and run over him
These DO count towards the kill, count the moment they are off the snowmobiles.

I thought getting platinum on this game was OK. The Spec Ops missions were a bit annoying on veteran though I really enjoyed the challenge. I have ELITE as well but I stopped playing a good few months back as nothing came out. I must try out all the free content. I hope it doesn't get taken off me when my subscription ends...
