Introduction:
Call of Duty: Classic is a remake of the original Call of Duty. The game proves why the franchise is so dominant among the FPS genre; even now it's still fun to play. The game is also very difficult. The game is called one of the two hardest of the Call of Duty games, averaging in difficulty with the second installment. The game's trophies are fairly straightforward; most will come through simply completing missions. You'll need to do three playthroughs for the platinum however; it has been said that the difficulties do not stack. The run to the platinum is a fairly straightforward one but to get a clear and comprehensive idea of how you should tackle this game read on.

Playthrough 1: Veteran Mode
Start off with Veteran Mode. It is unlocked from the start and is very, very, very hard. By getting this run out of the way early you are doing a few things; you are getting skilled at the game, you get used to the levels, and you are knocking out the hardest trophy at the same time. This will not be easy and will most likely result in a few broken controllers or subtly muttered curse words you should not have said in front of your little brother. Use the videos in the guide to get through this run. They are incredibly helpful in beating the game as they show exactly what you need to do to kill the enemies. Don't worry about anything but beating the game this time through, you have two more playthroughs to get the few spare trophies and you've got enough on your hands already.

Playthrough 2: Hardened Mode
This time you just want to play the game on Hardened. You can start to collect your spare mission completion style trophies now, or you can wait for your Regular difficulty run. If you choose to get the trophies now, then get them early. If you don't want to get your spare trophies now, then simply do what you did in Veteran. By waiting to do the spare trophies in your next playthrough, you give yourself time to learn the levels even better and become more comfortable with the controls. Either way, once you finish the story again, move on.

Playthrough 3: Regular Mode
This one should be a breeze compared to your last few playthroughs. You need to make sure that you've finished your mission completion style trophies early on; the early levels are excellent for them and give you a much higher chance to get them compared to late levels. This run is going to feel like the longest since you've already done this twice and on much harder difficulties. Again, clean up your mission style trophies if you haven't. If you miss them by the end of the game then choose chapter select to go through and find an easy Chapter to get the trophies in; at this point you should only have these left.

Playthrough 4: Clean Up
One more time through sound good to you? If not then I hope you got all your trophies. At this point all that's left is whatever you haven't unlocked. Use Mission select to clean up all those locked trophies and then revel in the glory of your new platinum, you earned it soldier.

Closing Notes and Legal:
This Guide was written by Moose_PS3T and is only to be used on PS3T.org or its sister site, X360A. If this content is seen anywhere else please contact me immediately. Thank you for reading and I hope you have fun getting your Platinum.

This thread contains videos on how to get through every single chapter of the entire game. Use these to get through the missions as all videos are of top quality and show you what you need to do in order to complete the missions. Also note that these do not stack so you must beat the game three times.

Survivor
Complete a mission without dying or loading a checkpoint.
This trophy should be gotten in one of the first few missions on your regular difficulty playthrough. Let your team mates do most of the work and avoid doing anything that puts you at risk. Look for health packs often and don't be afraid to wait a situation out.

Pea Shooter
Complete a mission using only a pistol and no melee attacks.
Like Survivor, do this on an early mission and on a low difficulty. One of the first few levels will be your best bet for this one. Treat it like you did Survivor and spend as little time out in the open as possible. The first non-tutorial mission is a cake walk to complete this on, even when playing on Veteran.

Bulletproof
Complete a mission without taking any damage
You're going to want to do this on the first non-tutorial mission. There are limited enemies and you have your squad to back you up. Let them take care of the enemies while you sit back and wait for the enemies to drop dead. I advise doing this on the lowest possible difficulty to avoid any chance of being hit by stray bullets. Patience is the key here, take your time and this will unlock with ease.

Golden Club
Complete a mission using only melee attacks
Same thing as in the latter trophies. Do this on the first non-tutorial mission on the lowest difficulty that you can. Thankfully you don't have to go through the mission without dying so this time you can kamikaze your way through the level if you'd like. Make sure you grab health packs and clear out packs of enemies before they split out, this will guarantee easy kills.

Gunslinger
Get kills using a pistol, rifle, submachine gun, and grenade in a mission without dying
Get this in one of the earlier levels. Try to get your melee and pistol kills out of the way early as these will be the tougher kills to achieve. You should find rifles and subs without a problem around the level so once you've gotten these kills out of the way, throw a grenade into a group of enemies and then proceed to finish the level in the manner which you finished the previous levels, being sure to let your friends kill the enemies while you sit back and relax. Again, easiest difficulty and an early chapter make this trophy easy to obtain.

Dutiful Soldier
All Trophies Unlocked.
Good work soldier. Now drop and give me ten.

Okie Dokie, guide is finished. If I find any more videos I'll throw those up but as of now I think I'll submit it. Feedback is appreciated.

I'd also like to add that, on my version, checkpoints wouldn't activate unless I had more than 50% health, on veteran. This became a consistent pattern, each and every time. Whenever I had more than 55 health, checkpoints would always appear religiously. Under it? Nope.

Was this just me, or does the game know you're fucked with that little health, and won't save your game?

Is it really recommended to do the first playthrough on veteran? Doesn't really make sense to me. You're gunna have to paly all the difficulties anyway, why play veteran first? Going through normal will get you used to the game and prepare you for veteran.
