Trophy Boosting Thread (Read First Post!)

can some one help me get ALL the zombie trophies i know its asking alot but i am desperate here =( the 92% trophy count is TAUNTING ME D= i only need these god damn zombie trophies for platinum if a seasoned zombie player can help me out that will be awesome i have a BT headset and speak fluent english i don't care if i have to play with 1 -2 bars as long as i get the trophies :3

fyi, for the collector trophy you DO NOT need to get any weapons from the mystery box. the collector trophy, iirc, only counts the weapons on the wall. this does include not just guns, but grenades, claymores, and the bowie knife. this actually isn't all that hard to do if you're in a match with some good people. if you can last thru 20+ rounds and save all your points for buying weapons. but you need other people who are willing to use their points to open up the doors and who will upgrade their weapons. in the later rounds, as the zombies get tougher, most weapons from the wall suck.

i would recommend at least getting one decent gun from the mystery box and upgrading it. the HK21 or the RPK... or the Commando if that's your only choice. i also recommend at least getting Juggernaut. this will definitely help you last longer. Revive and Speed Cola are plusses, but not really necessary.

then as long as your teammates go around, unlock all the doors, and if they have better weapons and upgrade them, you should be fairly free to use your points to buy up all the weapons from the wall. usually there's like around 12 weapons or so per map. Kino Der Toten is fairly good for this.

however, i used the glitch on the "FIVE" map and did it solo myself.

i think the banning is for boosting killstreaks in competitive multiplayer. this apparently was a big issue in MW2 where people were "boosting" kills in order to get their beloved "Tactical Nuke"

and i don't mean like, if teammates are working cooperatively and playing the game "fairly" i believe there were people in "boosting" rooms where they would be on the opposite sides/teams i suppose, and letting each other kill each other in order to boost the kills so one of them could get the Nuke. i dont see what the point of that is. i suppose if you just want to see what it's like to get one.

i dont think this type of "boosting" where people are just trying to help each other get trophies is considered a bannable offense. so i'm fairly sure you don't have to worry. it's not like what people are doing here is breaking the game or cheating in any kind of way. as opposed to the other way that i mentioned above. people in ranked/public matches trying to "boost" kills just to get killstreaks or fudge their k/d ratios or whatever the hell.

if you're really worried, just do a private match like suggested. private match is probably better anyways. a lot of these trophies can be easily done with just two people who are pretty good. you really only need two people, and the zombies are fairly manageable that way. altho it does kind of rely on some kind of luck with the mystery box.


anyways, i finally got my sacrificial lamb trophy. i just wanted to thank jr8bx for all the help this weekend. we finally managed to do it! it was a really frustrating experience, but totally satisfying when the trophy finally popped! i was literally in my living room.

one last tip for you sacrificial lamb trophy hunters. with regards to being lucky, it really really helps if you manage to get the crossbow a lot earlier. that way you can upgrade it ASAP. i'd say, after round 15, it gets a lot harder because the stupid zombies are tougher, and one explosion may not be enough to kill them completely. we tried it several times, and while i was able to stick my teammate, even tho he ran into a crowd of zombies, apparently not enough ever died. we finally got lucky in our last attempt, when i got the crossbow right away, as soon as we found the box (definitely before round 10). managed to upgrade it at like round 12/13 and we got the trophy at like round 14/15. we tried to keep going, but i think we were both burnt out and we were like really sloppy after that, but we didn't care.

if you do end up getting past round 15, and still havent got the crossbow... it might be worth just restarting. otherwise, you probably should try and create a bunch of crawlers and hope that you have plenty to survive long enough in order to get the trophy.

it also helps to have the monkey bomb, or if you're lucky, instakill. altho i wouldn't rely/wait for instakill.
