Introduction

Welcome to the PS3T Call Of Duty Clan! (working title) This was originally the PS3T MW3 Clan created by jmowen on November 8th, 2011 and has since then turned into the Call Of Duty Clan to include all multiplayer games in the Call Of Duty franchise on the PS3. Anyone who has a copy of any Call Of Duty game and meets the below requirements is welcome to join! Just make sure to read through the whole page before applying to ensure you understand everything. If you have any questions, feel free to send me or one of the officers a PM!
The main focus of the clan will be the current Call of Duty title which is Black Ops 2 at the moment, while keeping the Modern Warfare 3 aspect of the clan active. This includes general game nights, Elite Clan Events such as Operations and Challenges, and zombies. Every once in a while (perhaps every other month) we will hold a “nostalgic game night” in a past Call of Duty title such as COD4, WaW etc. based on popular vote by clan members. Zombies and nostalgic game nights will be held on a sign-up only basis once every (or) other month depending on interest.

Requirements

Note: Do not apply until you have read from the Info/FAQ to the Clan FAQs!
Disclaimer: When you apply it is on the understanding that you have read and intend to adhere to the Requirements, Rules, and FAQs listed in the posts below and will be treated accordingly (please refer to the Table of Contents for direct links to each post).

• Must have been a member of ps3trophies.org for at least three (3) months.
• One-hundred (100) non-spam posts.
• Must own a copy of COD4, WaW, MW2, Black Ops, MW3, or Black Ops II.
• Do not provoke any arguments or display behavior which is not favorable. If you try to hijack this thread, you will be first warned. Should you continue, you will be kicked out. If you use a mic, we ask that you do not blast music, or make any otherwise disruptive noise; the host holds the right to ask you to turn your mic down or off accordingly. If you have any problems with a member, take it up with myself or another Moderator.
• Be in good standing with the staff.
• Must attend at least one (1) Clan Event (game night, elite clan operation, etc.), or notify an officer of your absence.

Member Application Form (copy & paste, then fill it out)

• PSN ID: Post your PSN ID or put that you don't want it mentioned on the site so you don't get any spam friendships. In this case your site name will be used.
• COD COLLECTION: List which CoD titles you own and wish to join the clan for, then state what DLC you have (when/if applicable) for each game, as well as your Prestige/Level (note: If you have Premium Elite or BLOPS2 Season Pass, just say “All DLC” for MW3 or BO2).
• HAVE PREMIUM ELITE?: Answer yes or no. If you answer yes, please also mention what month you purchased it.
• NAT TYPE: Post your NAT Type (Type 1, 2, or 3 respectively).
• MIC: Post if you have a mic. Mics are preferable but in no way required.
• BOOSTING: Willing to help with trophies? If so please list which games/trophies you’re willing to help with i.e. Black Ops DLC Zombies, Modern Warfare 3 Spec Ops etc. If you see a person is willing to help or is asking for help, please PM them and go from there so as to not clutter the clan thread. Otherwise use the appropriate Boosting Threads found in the game specific forums.
• LOCATION: Post your Timezone, when you're typically on, and how long you usually play for. This is to know how we should group players for events, and telling us if you have a heavy work load/go to college will help you in the long run. Don't know your time zone? Check this site: Time - Current time around the World and standard time zones map of the world- 12 format
• GLORY STORIES: Post some Cod Glory Stories. Get a sweet killstreak? Nice K/D? Do you play certain game modes only? Either way, any CoD information of this nature that we might want to know should be posted (Warning: no videos, please! Any videos posted will be removed!).

Disclaimer: Any sign-ups that say 'Add me: (PSN ID)' or leave out any of the post requirements, will be ignored. If you wish to keep some stuff private, then PM me. Also, if you apply and either decline, get turned down or are otherwise a previous member of the clan, you cannot reapply for 4 weeks.

Officer Requirements
(Currently NOT taking Officer Applications)

Officers are the leading figures of the clan. They can deal with thread related situations as well as answer any questions and accept member applications. You will usually see them hosting clan events and will be required to add at least two of them if you intend to participate. Future Officers are chosen by a unanimous vote among the Officers.

• Must be a member of the clan.
• Five-hundred (500) non-spam posts.
• Member of ps3trophies.org for over six (6) months.
• Must have a mic or a (USB) keyboard.
• Must be able to set up gaming nights on a regular basis.
• Demonstrate excellent leadership (determined at Officers' discretion)
• Open NAT.

Officer Application Form (copy & paste, then fill it out)

• Games: State which games you want to be an Officer in (i.e. Black Ops 2, MW3, and/or previous titles). (Note: owning previous titles is not required if you have Black Ops 2 or MW3.)
• Mic/Keyboard: Confirm that you have a Mic and/or keyboard
• Hosting: Confirm that you are willing to set up/host at least one game night a month (only applicable to Black Ops 2 & MW3).
• Open NAT: Confirm that you have an Open NAT.
• Global location: While you already listed your GMT, that doesn't necessarily tell us where you live (i.e. GMT-7 Canada vs South America) and knowing your global location will make deciding who to host what group easier.
• Skype? (optional): Not required, but will make Officer to Officer communication easier; just answer yes or no - if you answered yes and get accepted, PM your Skype Name to another Officer.

Adjuncts

The purpose of an Adjunct will be to help host during clan events when deemed necessary by the hosting Officer. This will usually occur when more than 9 members are in attendance at a clan event, and being able to choose an Adjunct speeds up the process of splitting into two groups. Game types will still be chosen by majority vote, and it is up to the hosting Adjunct to listen and act accordingly. Requirements are as follows:

• Must be a member of the clan.
• Have an Open/Moderate Nat (Type 1/2).

Adjunct Application Form (copy & paste, then fill it out)

• Games: Confirm which titles you’re willing to perform Adjunct duties in. (Note: owning multiple CoD titles is not required)
• Mic/Keyboard: While not a requirement, it'd be good to know.
• Open Nat: Confirm that you have an Open NAT type.
• Hosting: Confirm that you are willing to host when asked by a present Officer, or when no Officers are present.
• Global location: While you already listed your GMT, that doesn't necessarily tell us where you live (i.e. GMT-7 Canada vs South America) and knowing your global location will make deciding who to host what group easier.

Event Rules

• To participate you must be a member of the clan. Do not expect a party invite unless you are in the chat or have signed up (when applicable). Clan events are restricted to clan members only. Occasionally we will allow friends to join if we need more people but members of the clan will always have priority.
• Time Zones as well as a link for the current time around the world are listed above. There should be NO EXCUSE for being tardy/arriving late! Each member is responsible for his or her attendance. If you know you will be late, let us know AHEAD OF TIME.
• 3 Strike Policy: Any member seen online playing another game during a game night without any notification either by contacting an Officer or posting this thread will result in a strike. After two strikes, the member in question is sent a reminder to attend a game night that month. Once a member receives 3 strike, that member is automatically removed from the clan with no exception. Strikes are reset every 4 weeks, depending on which game night of a month a member decides to attend. To avoid receiving strikes please check the upcoming clan event schedule regularly, and notify us of any future conflicts.
• NO HACKING ALLOWED! This results in an automatic ban from the clan. No ifs, ands, or buts!
• A standalone chat will be created for each nostalgic game night and zombies night which you must join to participate. This will keep those events separate from our permanent chat and invites to the chats will be handed out on a sign-up basis. If you are on but don’t join the chat, then it is assumed by all officers you are not attending and you will not be able to sign up to future events for One (1) Month.
• Must have at least one hosting Officer added to be able to attend. As long as you do this, you should have no problem getting in. Friendships for Nostalgic Game Nights will be sent out on a sign-up basis at least 2 days in advanced.
• All-in-good-fun trash talking is ok, but if someone is constantly bashing other players, there will be consequences. If you are disruptive, don't follow the rules, etc. you will be removed from the clan. If you disobey the officer/room leader in charge, you will be removed from the clan.
• Headsets are encouraged. We'd love that you use them, but again, no bashing other players.
• If you can't attend an event, please inform one of the officers. Remember, you have to attend at least one (1) event for at least one (1) per month to be part of the clan (only applies to Black Ops 2 & MW3)!
• If you are an Elite Premium member and wish to participate in a Clan Operation, do so with the intention of participating for a majority of the Op, or let us know beforehand that you will be leaving early. Joining to play for one match and then leaving isn't contributing, nor will it count towards our monthly attendance policy of participating for at least one (1) hour.
• Members put on the Inactive List are expected to attend at least one (1) clan event within two (2) months of becoming inactive.
• We only add members to the inactive list upon request and with good reason i.e. work, school, or family related priorities.
• Also, members can only be added to the inactive list one (1) time before asked to apply to join again at a later date.

Official PSN Chat Information

We have an official, and permanent, chat on PSN titled PS3T CoD (PERM). If for some reason you do not have the chat/have not received an invitation, please let me know and I will gladly invite you in. While use of this chat is NOT mandatory, it is there to help improve your overall multiplayer experience, and to promote clan member interaction.

We also have a chat for use during game nights when PS3T CoD (PERM) is full titled PS3T CoD (OVERFLOW). This chat, like PS3T CoD (PERM), should NEVER be deleted, and should ONLY be entered when PS3T CoD (PERM) is full. During a game night, all participating Officers will be in PS3T CoD(OVERFLOW) to ensure all members get in on the game night.

Note: some players are having trouble entering the chat. If you experience issues entering the chat, try restarting your PS3. If the issue persists, delete the chat and notify an Officer - we'll then invite you back into the chat.

• To participate, just play the specified game type, or go for the specific Accolades at the specified time and follow the directions i.e. if they ask for total kills in TDM, play TDM and get kills.
• Any clan members can participate in Challenges, but Beach Head Studios only factors in the scores of the top 6 Premium Elite members for Operations.
• Due to the high volume of cheaters and boosters, Beach Head Studios will hold off on handing out badges/clan xp until they closely review each team for cheating and punish them accordingly.
• You do not have to party up with other clan members for scores to count - you can either play solo or with clan members/friends.
• If you leave mid-game, any progress obtained in that game does not count towards the clan operation so DON'T RAGE QUIT!

Okay guys, I've got some big announcements to dish out so listen up!

First, as you all have noticed the MW3 Clan no longer exists. It's been turned into the Call of Duty Clan and will now support all previous Call of Duty titles! Since Black Ops II is coming out November 13th, and will effectively be the 'current' title it will be the main 'focus' of the Clan. This does not mean no more MW3 events! Second, there's been a major overhaul of the member list! If you take a look, you will notice that my overly awkward and gimmicky way of showing who had Premium is gone, and has been replaced with shiny new emblems! These emblems indicate which Call of Duty titles a member owns, as well as which DLC packs for those titles. On top of this, we have an emblem for those with Premium Elite. Give a big thanks to RED_REBEL44 next time you see him for these awesome emblems.

Thirdly, there have been some additions (and a removal, sadly) to the Officers. First, Xx_Progenitor_xX has stepped down as Officer. He's become extremely busy with real life activities, and will stay on as an Adjunct for the Call of Duty Clan. We wish him the best with his real life endeavors, as well as give him a big thanks for all his help as an Officer. newgroundsguru, who you all know from MW3 has stepped up to become an Officer for the Call of Duty Clan. He'll be helping with both MW3 and BLOPS2, as well as older titles. Last, and definitely not least, AlphaCookie will be joining the ranks as an Officer. He already has Black Ops, and will help with Black Ops II when the game's released.

Fourth, here's what I would like you all to do. First, go ahead and delete the MW3 PERM and OVERFLOW PSN chats we had for the MW3 clan as I have sent you all invites to the new ones. As far as October Attendance goes, I'm giving everyone a clean slate to celebrate the new clan - if you know you'll be inactive for November/December please let me know and I'll put you on the inactive list. Similarly, if you no longer wish to be a part of the clan, please let me know that as well. Now that the clan supports all Call of Duty titles, I would like you all to either post in this thread, send me a VM, or send me a PM with all the Call of Duty titles you own, as well as which DLC packs for each. If you will be getting Black Ops II on release day please let me know that as well.

CoD News

Elite Premium members, if you signed up for your Premium Elite Subscription BEFORE March 1st, 2012, then your subscription has been extended until March 1st, 2013 as per the e-mail below REGARDLESS of whether or not you received said e-mail.

This clan has quite a lot going on and there are undoubtedly many questions to be had. Below a majority of questions are covered.

General Clan-related Questions

• Q:What is the PS3T CoD Clan, and how do I join? A: The PS3T CoD Clan is PS3T’s official collective clan for Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare, Call of Duty: World At War, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, Call of Duty: Black Ops, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3, and Call of Duty: Black Ops II. The clan is open to anyone in the community who owns any of the above titles, has been a member of the forums for at least three (3) months as well as one-hundred (100) non-spam posts.
• Q:Do I have any responsibilities as a member? A: Yes. As a member it is your responsibility to regularly check the main page of the clan thread for updates in the Game Night, Clan Event, and Announcements posts (links to each post in respective post title) If you own Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 and/or Black Ops II you are required to participate in at least one (1) clan event per month. These events range from simply partying up, engaging in CoD Elite Challenges/Operations, and to Zombies. Dates and times for events are shown in the Game Night (link to post in text) post. If you know you will be unable to attend an event, please notify an officer or post in the thread before the event occurs. If you will be unavailable for an entire month, again, please notify an officer or post in the thread ahead of time; otherwise we will mark you inactive and you will be removed from the clan. If you’re seen online playing another game during a game night without any prior notification either in the clan thread or by personally contacting an officer, you will receive a strike; receive 3 and you’re removed from the clan. These strikes will go away over time as you maintain attendance. To find out how many (if any) strikes you have against you, please PM an Officer. Once a member receives two strikes, he or she will automatically receive a PM from an Officer regarding the strikes.
• Q:On the Member List I see Officers and Adjuncts. What are these and how can I become one? A: Officers are the leading figures of the clan.
