Random Game Freeze

so i havent played the game in forever and updated the game and when i try to go into multiplayer to select the avatar it just shows a buzzer and wont let me select.

Hmmm... a bit odd. Have you made sure batteries are in your buzzer and the usb dongle is plugged in etc etc?

You could try deleting the game data and re-downloading the patch?
