I have played both, but I only own Buzz. I think Buzz is a lot more fun, and the buzzers are great. I like Trivial Pursuit too, but its def a more serious game. If you are looking to just fuck around and have fun, get Buzz. My gf isn't very good at video games, and she loves playing it with me.

I really liked both but you pretty much have to be a trivia GOD to excel at Trvial Pursuit. I generally got 40/50% of the questions right in Buzz but that figure dropped to about 20% in Trivial and most of the time I was just guessing. Buzz! gets very repetitive with the annoying catchphrases and such but there is an inventive multiplayer mode, online is fairly fun and it is always nice to try other people's quizzes. So I say Buzz!

I've played both on PS2 and PS3 (yeah, I'm one of those saddo quiz types lol). My ex-girlfriend liked both, but she much preferred Buzz! because, well, it was just more fun! Buzz is an excellent multiplayer quiz game compared to Trivial Pursuit... and the best bit is that you don't wait your turn in Buzz!... everyone answers, and depending on the format of each round it could be "fastest fingers", "buzz to answer", etc. And you get to throw custard pies at other players - MUCH MORE FUN than Trivial Pursuit lol.
Oh, and it's possible to get 8 players in Buzz! ~ squodge ~ |
