Heads up! About Borderlands GOTY DLC on disc

I did suspect that would be a problem eventually especially in shops where they take the disc out of the box.
I wonder why 2K/Gearbox decided to first release the GOTY version with the voucher (which would cost them money to Sony every time the packs are downloaded) first then have another version where they're on the disc with no indication on the disc itself and very little on the game box.

so mad at best buy bought borderlands game of year yesterday they said it was new on box it says borderland game voucher for all 4 add on packs foldout pandora map

opened it up no codes no map.

though I do have a question if the codes are not enter wouldnt the trophy list just be the reg game list with out showing the dlc trophies?

Nope.

The placeholders for the DLC trophies will appear in your list regardless of if you install the DLCs or not as they're added via a patch. Even if you don't install the Patch, the trophies will still appear when you compare your trophies with a friend.

with the confussion of older version disk being in the later cases, does anybdy know if there is anything different on the actual disk. You would think they would of made this clearer. Instead hours of checking on the net. A voucher system is stupid anyway. Once it is used the disc loses 2/3rds of its value

Nope, all you an do is look for the differences that nimrod posted in post no50 in this thread.

Just traded in the regular edition for the GOTY Edition. Love it!!
