7 - Glitched trophies - Yes, sometimes the "Kill 25 enemies with weapon X" and run over 25 enemies with a vehicle trophy can be glitched a not unlock when you have met the requirement, to fix this simply start a new save and do it again, they're attainable but sometimes they glitch on you.

Introduction

Borderlands is a great fun co-op game and single player, it lets you explore the world of Pandora. A RPG mixed with FPS, its humorous, fun and has a bazillion guns It does a very good job with having a sense of that MMO feeling, good FPS play and a interesting RPG system/mechanics, probably one of the most interesting games of 2009 for the PS3. Call your buddies and have a blast!

Roadmap

Majority of the trophies can be achieved by playing by yourself, most of them are just tied to leveling, discovering certain quests that are story-related, so you pretty much get this as you go and level up to 50. There are some multiplayer trophies but most of them can also be done alone in the split-screen.

However, the only trophy you need to get online is "They'll Tell Two Friends" but most likely if you have played a multiplayer game you already got this, so don't worry about it.

In order to obtain every trophy, you will probably have to do 2 or 3 playthroughs total. Once you beat the game, your character keeps the weapon, money, loot but you can start again to keep leveling until 50.

First playthrough should be Single-Player only, unless you have a really dedicated buddy who is willing to play on a scheduled basis throughout the game to get all the trophies/level/beat the game. The first playthrough will get you to level 36/37.

Yours 1st playthrough will get you to 36/37, and get you majority of the trophies. You pretty much need a 2nd playthrough just to get to level 50 and get your platinum. The 4 trophies for each character's talent points should only take about 2 hours or so or maybe even less.

Once your done with every story-releated trophy and leveling, you should start doing co-op online or offline/splitscreen to get the rest of the trophies. This is an easy platinum just a matter of dedication and some time consumption

- Borderland Defender -

Description - You have defeated all bosses and are a powerful force to be reckoned with

Earn every trophy in the game to obtain Platinum Trophy

- Paid in Fyrestone -

Description - Completed 5 missions in the Arid Badlands

Easy, this probably will be your 1st trophy that you get when you complete your 1st five missions at the start of the game in Arid Badlands.

- Made in Fyrestone -

Description - Completed all missions in the Arid Badlands

You have to complete a total of 44 missions in Fyrestone, that includes DR Zed, T.K Baha, Shed Sanders, and Claptrap and Bounty Boards missions

- Paid in New Haven -

Description - Completed 5 missions in the Rust Commons

Can't miss this, you will get this as you go and quest through out the later areas in the game.

- Made in New Haven -

Description - Completed all missions in the Rust Commons

Complete every single quest that you get in Rust Commonos East/West, New Heaven I believe the number is somewhere in the 60s... will have to double check that

- My Brother is an Italian Plumber -

Description - Killed an enemy plumber-style

This is a fun trophy and really cool You simply have to kill an enemy Mario style ! Once you start fighting Skags at the beginning of the game, shoot them a bit and get them to low health, once they're around 10-15 %. Just simply jump on top of them and you will deal small damage, keep jumping on them until they're dead. -12 Days of Pandora (Secret) -

Description - Mastered the technology of Pandora

This is a simple trophy and all you have to do is get the following kills:

12 assault rifle kills, 11 pistol kills, 10 shotgum kills, 9 SMG kills, 8 Sniper rifle kills,7 melee kills
6 critical hit kills, 5 explosive kills, 4 shock kills, 3 incendiary kills, 2 faces melted,1 grenade killThis is a *Secret* Trophy

- Wanted: Sledge -

Description - Killed Sledge

This is a story-related Boss, you cannot miss this, it's the first boss you encounter in the game (Secret)

- Wanted: Krom -

Description - Killed Krom

This is a story-related Boss, you cannot miss this, it's the second boss you encounter in the game (Secret)

- Wanted: Flynt -

Description - Killed Flynt

This is a story-related Boss, you cannot miss this, it's the second boss you encounter in the game (Secret)

- Destroyed the Hive -

Description - Kill the Rakk Hive

Kill the Rakk Hive, can't miss this is a story-related boss encounter (Secret)

- Destroyed the Destroyer -

- Speedy McSpeederton -

Description - Raced around the Ludicrous Speedway in record time

Description - Apply an elemental artifact

Easy trophy, just make sure you do every single quest that you get from every bounty board. I got this trophy around level 16-18 in Arid Badlands

I did a quest and got rewarded with a elemental artifact, once you get the reward just simply go to your inventory and use it, it will apply an artifact to your character's main skill and the trophy will be yours

- Ding! Newbie -

Description - Earned level 5

Self-Explanatory, just level till you hit 5

- Ding! Novice -
Description - Earned level 10

Description - Killed 25 enemies by ramming them with any vehicle

This is a very easy and funny trophy, once you get your vehicle near the beginning of the game, just simply drive around and run over 25 enemies and the trophy is yours. Enjoy the flying giblets as you ram into them!

- Rootinest, Tootinest, Shootinest -

Description - Killed 5 Rakk in under 10 seconds

This trophy is not so hard, go to Arid Hills and Equip either a battle rifle or an SMG. Find where the Rakk spawn and attack in groups and once they get close enough just simply spray and shoot em all done.

They die very easily and fast, if you think you're good enough you can even try to use a shotgun up-close and personal once they're near your face

- Pandora-dog Millionaire -

Description - Earned $1,000,000

Self-Explanatory, just keep playing the game, grab as much cash as you go along, pick up useless items and sell them as often as possible and you will be there in no time

- Fence -

Description - Sold 50 guns to a shop

Really easy, just pick up really crappy loot that you do not need at all, and sell it as you go on, I was able to attain this trophy by the time I reached level 20

- Can't We Get BEYOND Thunderdome? -

Description - Emerged victorious from an arena match

Easy trophy, simply go to Arena near T.K Baha (it's near the start of the game in Arid Badlands). You should see a big "Arena" sign, go into the building and start an arena match with your buddy.

You must kill him/her 3 times before the match is official over, once you have won the match your trophy will be unlocked

- Duel-icious -

Description - Won a duel against another player

This trophy is a peace of cake, you can either boost this with a friend like I did online or you can even do this by yourself in Split-Screen with two controllers. Just start a split-screen game and use both of the controls to activate duel mode.

In order to start duel mode you must come up to the player and use your melee attack which is R3, grab the other controller and do the same thing so that way the other player accepts the challenge and the duel is on.

- Group LF Healer -

Description - Rescued a groupmate from death in a co-op game

Easy, just play a co-op game and I will guarantee you one of your teammates will get down, just catch the right opportunity to revive him with no enemies around and the trophy is yours

- There's No "I" In "Team" -

Description - Completed 15 missions in co-op

Just simply complete 15 missions with 2 or more players, offline or online, and it does NOT have to be with the same person, it adds up as a total overall

- United We Stand -

Description - Defeated the Rakk Hive, the Vault Boss, Sledge, Krom, or Flynt in a co-op game

Easy gold trophy, just kill any of the bosses listed above with 2 or more players online or offline and it's yours (Secret)

- And They'll Tell Two Friends -

Description - Played in a co-op game with either an employee of Gearbox or someone who had this trophy

I got this the 1st online game I got in, keep playing and you will eventually get this infection and the trophy will unlock, or add me and join my game if you want it. My PSN is - Northelim

Weapon Aficionado -

Description - Reached proficiency level 10 with any weapon type

This is a easy trophy, just takes some time to get. Simply pick your weapon of choice that you use the most and keep killing enemies with it until you hit proficiency level 10. To check your status till the next proficiency level go to your weapon stats menu

- You're on a boat! -

Description - I bet you never thought you'd be here

You have to find the secret boat in Treacher's Landing, here is a picture of it where it's located (thanks to admiralvic for taking photos)

Won a duel without taking damage

Use the same technique as you did for the "Duel-icious" trophy, either boost it with a friend or do it by yourself in split-screen co-op with 2 controllers by yourself.

- Facemelter -

Description - Killed 25 enemies with corrosive weapons

Easy trophy, once you get to around level 18-23 you should start coming across corrosive enhanced weapons that show green goo and poison enemies, kill 25 enemies with a corrosive enhanced weapon and the trophy is yours

- 1.21 Gigawatts -

Description - Killed 25 enemies with shock weapons

This is trophy is just a matter of finding/looting a gun that shoots electrifying bullets, once you get it, simply kill 25 enemies with it to get the trophy.

- Pyro -

Description - Killed 25 enemies with incendiary weapons

This is trophy is just a matter of finding/looting a gun that shoots fire bullets, once you get it, simply kill 25 enemies with it to get the trophy.

- Master Exploder -

Description - Killed 25 enemies with explosive weapons

Simply use grenades, or blow up explosive barrels near the enemies to make the kills count as explosive. Do this 25 times and the trophy is yours. However, there is a faster way too, once you get your vehicle near the start of the game, just mount the rocket launcher on it and enjoy the 25 kills.

Description - Equipped a class mod for your character

Story-related trophy, you will get this after you kill the first boss "Sledge" and turn in the quest you will get a class mod, and all you have to do is equip it and the trophy is yours.

- Fully Loaded -

Description - Rescued enough Claptraps to earn 42 inventory slots

You need to find and repair a total of 10 claptraps throughout the entire game, here are the locations of them in order as you play. Description - Killed an enemy with the Siren's action skill

Level up to level 5 as Lilth , go to Skag Gully, damage the enemy with a melee attack/pistol till it's health goes really low and then use your special character ability ( Phase walk ) to kill it and the trophy is yours

- Careful, he Bites -

Killed 15 enemies with the Hunter's action skill

Create a Hunter, level him to level 5 by questing/killing, go to Skag Gully, round up Skag Pups and Skag Whelps and run around in circles and use your special character action skill 15 times, the cooldown is not that long.

Sometimes you might wanna damage the Skags a bit with a melee attack to make sure they will die from 1 attack from the hawk that you send out.

- Reckless Abandon -
Killed 15 enemies with the Berserker's action skill

Create a Berserker, level him to level 5 to be able to use your Character's talent skill. Once you hit level 5 go to Skag Gully and gather around a few Skags (make sure not to overwhelm yourself tho) and activate your talent skill and start punching the hell out of every skag around you. Rince and repeat until you get 15 kills.

- Down in Front! -

Description - Killed 15 enemies with the Soldier's action skill

You will get your 1st Character's skill at level 5, once you get it keep using it every time the cooldown is up and just let the turret do the job. Keep reusing it till you get 15 kills with the Sentry Gun.

And They'll Tell Two Friends I believe is the only online one, the rest of co-op ones you can do in split-screen with a 2nd controller i believe.

Also, yes you can make a guide while you're playing a game, I have done 3 Trophy Guides in the past.... this is my 4th. (Notice my badge under my nickname...)
