Default Enemies

Artic Bullymong

The Arctic Bullymong is a four-armed, ape-like creature in Borderlands 2. It can climb tall structures with ease, and is capable of leaping great distances. The Arctic Bullymong has the unique ability to pick up objects in the environment and hurl them at its enemies.

Nomad

Nomads are a type of enemy in Borderlands 2. They are slow-moving bandits sporting large shields that provide full cover while allowing the Nomad to remain mobile. Nomads appear in three variations[citation needed], with one variation confirmed so far. The Nomad Torturer wields a shield with a Midget Psycho bound to the front. Players can gain a temporary ally by focusing fire on the Midget's bindings and freeing him from the shield.
  • Comically, on the top left corner of the Nomad's shield there is a printed face of the internet meme "F**k yeah".
  • The Nomads detest Midget Psychos, choosing to affix them to the front of their shield to show their hatred for them.
  • According to an interview Gamespot had at PAX 2011, with Gearbox employee Scott Kester, it has been confirmed that the Midget will become a temporary ally if the player chooses to free him.

Elemental Skag

Elemental skags - elemental skags will be able to transfer their element to nearby skags with a ground pound attack. (so a fire skag can do a ground pound and set all the skag pups around him on fire, turning them into fire pups)

War Loader

WAR Loader - a large Hyperion robot that can rapidly fire missiles and bullets. Can be summoned by Surveyors.

Surveyors

Surveyors - floating Hyperion bots who can quickly restore their allies to full health and summon more robots such as WAR Loaders.

Thresher

Thresher - a worm-like creature that is fought in vehicles and can open more parts of the map. Threshers will vary greatly in size from vehicle-sized creatures to towering monstrosities.

EXP Loader

EXP Loader - a man-sized Hyperion robot that acts as a suicide bomber. The player may shoot off its legs in order to slow it down.

Marauder Bandit

Marauder bandit - a large thug who makes intelligent use of cover, retreating to find allies when significantly damaged.

Night Stalkers

They resemble Rakk from the first game that are brightly colored and can ambulate similar to bats. The different colors of the night stalkers in the photo probably represents the different varieties and or elemental abilities of certain nightstalkers. In otherwords, there may be elemental nightstalkers like rakk.

If you look at the green nightstalker in the picture you will see what looks like a ball of acid that corrosive skags would spit which reinforces the above statement.

OMG. Where did you find them. Those enemies look amazingly badass. My favorite is the midget shield.
