Setsuna's strategy

Pick Jin Kisaragi and select beginner mode by pressing :l1:, keep these beginner mode movesets in mind

:triangle: does Reitou Frost Bite (:cross:)

:cross: does the grab command (BC/:triangle::circle:)

:circle: does the fast Hishouken Ice Blade (236B/http://i46.tinypic.com/fvitqw.gifhttp://i50.tinypic.com/2s6vuw3.gifhttp://i48.tinypic.com/2m63jo3.gif:triangle:)

:circle:+http://i46.tinypic.com/fvitqw.gif does the med Musou Senshouzan Crystal Strike aka Ice Car (214B/http://i46.tinypic.com/fvitqw.gifhttp://i45.tinypic.com/2s0b9k9.gifhttp://i50.tinypic.com/11kbjnk.gif:triangle:)

:circle:+http://i48.tinypic.com/2m63jo3.gif does Fubuki Blizzard (623B/http://i48.tinypic.com/2m63jo3.gifhttp://i46.tinypic.com/fvitqw.gifhttp://i50.tinypic.com/2s6vuw3.gif:triangle:)

Hold :square: with 50% Heat does Touga Hyoujin Ice Fang (632146C/http://i48.tinypic.com/2m63jo3.gifhttp://i50.tinypic.com/2s6vuw3.gifhttp://i46.tinypic.com/fvitqw.gifhttp://i45.tinypic.com/2s0b9k9.gifhttp://i50.tinypic.com/11kbjnk.gifhttp://i48.tinypic.com/2m63jo3.gif:circle:)

Hold :r2: does the Rengoku Hyouya Arctic Dungeon Astral Finish (Hold 2 > 8D / Hold http://i46.tinypic.com/fvitqw.gif > http://i46.tinypic.com/2888hmf.gif:cross:)

Basic Strategy:

I would always back up and spam Hishouken Ice Blade (:circle:) if the opponent got to close i would use Fubuki Blizzard (:circle:+http://i48.tinypic.com/2m63jo3.gif) however if the opponent wasnt in range of that i could use Musou Senshouzan Crystal Strike (:circle:+http://i46.tinypic.com/fvitqw.gif) and the follow up with Fubuki Blizzard . Use Touga Hyoujin Ice Fang (Hold :square:) whenever you can

Fubuki Blizzard is by far the best offensive attack due to its beautiful invisibilty frame with it. This tactic should work up to everyone, even up to Unlimited Ragna

Against Unlimited Rachel you want to charge in using Fubuki Blizzard as much as you can, if you see Rachel take an offensive defend and wait for an opening to use Musou Senshouzan Crystal Strike to get close and to use Fubuki Blizzard again, and thats basically how i beat score attack :)

Quick question.................How the helldo you beat Unlimited Hakuman >.<

he counters everything that i do to him!

I use Jin but i don't have it set to beginner mode (as i asumed if i had done the first Score Attack then i can do this one)

how wrong i was to think that i could walk straight in to the 'mans club and just brush him to one side with a couple of ice cars...........long and short he's kicking my ass every time XD

should i just try beginner mode and try that, or is there a secret to him ^^'

also i watched a video on youtube of someone do BB:CS Score Attack with Tager and his Hakuman's name wasen't flashing Pink like mine.

now just to clear this one up, Unlimited Characters names are in pink, right?

Ahaha dont worry i think alot of us had that same mindset especially since i beat CT score attack like 5-6 times

Alright when i did score attack out of beginner mode it was basically waiting for an opening and then i would spam ice car, grab > ice car > grab until he breaks out of my grasp and then i would back up and try again however he has to much health and whenever he gets one hit on me it leads into a combo that finishes me

I beat him once out of beginner mode but when i got to Hazama stupid me forgot to hit start on my second controller when i was about to lose so i said forget it and went to beginner mode, just try the strategy i have posted and you should be fine

You mean this video ?

[ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wj44uXxbMwA]YouTube - BBCS Score Attack - Kurushii (B.TG) Vs Unlimiteds (720p)[/ame]

It looks flashing ... and pink to me, yes unlimited characters names flash pink when in use

I have literally give up on trying to beat score attack with Carl ( my main) his counters literally render Carl useless. But Jin Drive spam works effectively against Hakumen. I usually lure Hakumen into a corner and keep pressing X until their life gauge is gone. If Hakumen uses his yukikaze counter distortion, you have to do a double jump to avoid any damage.

I manage to win a round with Noel by running away and spamming revolver blase but i couldn't win both rounds.

Its ALOT harder if you play normally ... however if your going the cheap route with beginner mode , it might actually be easier

Hey but unlimited Ranga doest recover half life after doing his carnage scissors on you, like in the previous game (at least in the video you have posted). For me Unlimited ragna was a pain in the a$$ because of that. I think Score attack in this game should be easier.

Which are the things that are A LOT harder?? I dont have the game yet but I would like to know :D

For me with this strategy the only problem was Unlimited Rachel but in general the biggest problems are Unlimited Hakumen , Hazama and Rachel (Ragna wasnt so much a threat to a friend of mine who beat Score Attack without beginner mode ... though he spent like 4 hours on the mode xD)

In all honesty, Unlimited Ragna isn't as bad this time around as he seems to have been toned down a lot. Unlimited Haku-men however, is a cheap mofo, and is the hardest fight in Score Attack. Unlimited Hazama is pretty brutal too, but he takes more damage than Haku-men does, so it's easier. Unlimited Ragna is fairly easy compared to those two, and Unlimited Rachael was cake compared to the three that came before her (I even perfected her on the second round!).

I gave Hell difficulty a shot after that, and breezed through it in Record time. Oh, Score Attack. How I hate you. XD

If i may be bold as to make this my first post on this forum i do have a method to beat score attack with Iron Tager (the easiest one to do it with in my opinion)

Zerodomai Kitsune's Strategy

Pick Iron Tager and use beginner mode keep these bits of the beginner mode move set for him in mind

:square: + :down: mashing this is the only way i have found to do atomic colder which is the end part of the down square combo (so no catching air dashes with it)

:triangle: is his magnetize at close range he will do his new drive 4D and at farther ranges mashing the button will do a combo starting with his standard drive and go into sledge hammer and its follow up

:circle: is TAGER BUSTER!!

:circle: + :right: is Sledge hammer

:circle: + :down: Voltic Charge if gauge full spark bolt

:circle: when the opponent is down is the new Gadget Finger

Hold :square: to do Genesic Emerald Tager Buster

Hold :triangle: to do Terra Brake

Basic Strategy

It is very funny that i actually burned through by just spamming the normal tager buster whenever i could so that is my key for basic success but for the final 4 it takes a little trick

Tager buster to gadget finger to Tager buster to gadget finger to ect.

if the enemy dose the wrong move they get cough in this chain but its not a lock they can easily stop it by hitting you with a fast move it just seems they don't most of the time

at 50% drive though you can try to gadget finger them into a super by holding A button while you pick them up

also doing the beginning part of Sledge Hammer stuns them long enough to land either tager buster or Genesic

but for the last 4 it is a bit different

Hakumen -_- you will have trouble but he to falls for the grab chain warning though he will try to counter Genesic if he has 4 gauge luckily you want him to do that because he will still be grabed

Hazama -_- aug he does fall for the chain sometimes it is just hard sometimes to get the first tager buster and if you try Genesic he will jump back and counter it the best way to deal with that is to not use genesic and stay with normal if you use a special use Terra Brake and if he uses his special on you with the snakes use Spark bolt if you can to pull him back into grab range

Ragna Lol he is much easier than old unlimited standard tactic worked for me

Rachel two things make this pitifully easy one she did not on my play through i repeat did not try to move away from tager and the second thing your immune from the thunder if you grab her with the normal tager buster so she cant blast you out the sky while you throw her

hopefully this helps some people and ps i did do the 2nd player trick when i fought so this is not a sure fire way to win in one try

I also did Score Attack with Tager first in beginner mode, and I have two extra tips to add. After a Tager Buster, stand right next to their body, and wait for their wakeup. If they don't tech away from you (which they don't do most of the time), just catch them with another Tager Buster. This works on everyone, but there's luck involved. If you get them into the corner, you're almost guaranteed nonstop Tager Busters, barring crazy wakeup moves (I'm looking at you Hazama!). If you're feeling cruel, you can time your DD Buster on their wakeup too.

My second tip is abuse Sledge Hammer at range. It goes through all projectiles and cancels a lot of moves. I found this to be extremely helpful vs Lambda, and somewhat helpful vs Jin and Hazama (it went through Ouroboros a couple times!).

I used these tactics and only had trouble with Tsubaki (too much pressure to counter easily), Tager (I don't know his spacing to counter his footsies), and Hazama (too damn fast) - which is not bad considering I don't know how to play Tager at all.

Just a word of advice, a LOT of the AI is really dumb against Tager. You can abuse 623B and your opponent will shoot projectiles at you (which will be blocked 99% of the time) from halfway across the map. After 3 623B's, just launch a spark bolt from across the map, and deal like 4.5k damage from the combo followup. Make the combo end in 5D, highjump away, and they'll be on the other side of the map again, and you can repeat the same strategy.

It seems to work for everyone but Hakumen, and to a certain extent Ragna. Against them, well, it's all your skill.

My starting strategy for the 4 unlimited are...

Hakumen/Ragna: 4D off the bat, and do the combo

4D 5C 6A 623B 623B(miss) 6B 2B 623B 5D

This will cause him to fly away from you, and when he does immediately following the 5D do a 623B (Atomic Collider). He'll fly right into your hands and you can rinse and repeat any combo that ends in 5D where he'll end up in the same position. I managed to get him in a loop this way and Perfected both Hakumen and Ragna using this method. You have to be decent at combos for it to work, though, but if you're not ice-car spamming your way through and are using Tager I'm assuming you're decent at the game anyways.

I don't care HOW good you are at comboing, ALWAYS 4D 5C 6A 623B 6C 5D at the start at LEAST. They both always charge at you and you'll get a counter followup and he'll be magnetized. It makes the fight a lot easier.

Hazama: Bitchy opening. Nothing works for sure, but I found that backdash Voltic Charge works the best, and just rely on getting off the first Spark Bolt to get him into the same combo you do for Hakumen/Ragna. Luckily the AI is really dumb and falls into this tech trap easily.

As for Rachael, you can beat her pretty much just spamming "SLEDGE!" and doing an easy 5-6 combo followup (remember that 6C 5D is difficult to land on her reliably, I just end it with 2D). You blast through ALL of her projectiles and any Sword Iris electricity. Alls you really have to look out for is her horrible (in a good way, for you) distortion drive that shoots crap at you and block it. If you can beat Hazama you can beat Rachael.

LAMBDA-11's Score Attack a.k.a. "I'm such a Nu-13 fanboy I decided to earn her the hard way"

NOTE: I didn't/don't play on Beginner Mode seeing as it's too much work for me to remember all that XD If anyone knows what the motions for Beginner Mode are, feel free to let me know and I'll throw it in here

**And to be safe, I suggest having a second controller on standby. You never know**

For those who don't know, Lambda is known as a "Glass Cannon." Powerful, yet weak defense. Keep this in mind later on in Score Attack. My two main methods were:

1st Method - Up close and use 3C and constantly trip the CPU

2nd Method - Create distance and repeat 214D "Opt C". The reason for "Opt C" is because by using it it charges the attack longer and may put you at risk. The difference being that by doing only 214D will attack faster but only cover half the screen versus 214D+C which charges longer and goes full screen.

Other tricks you should know are, just in case:

"Sword Barrage" - 236236D

===========================================

//Bang//

Use the 1st method. Not a very difficult battle here.

//Taokaka//

She will run head first either on foot or in the air, so it's safe to use 2C she comes at you. It should be a counter every time. After the counter, just so Nu/Lambda basic combo:

2C > j.C > j.2C > j.C > j.2C > 214D

//Tager//

Use the 2nd method. However, watch out for his Spark Bolt. This is where the "Glass Cannon" warning comes into effect. It takes only 2 - 3 grabs and it's Game Over

//Carl//

Using the 3C method works fine, just keep an eye out for Nirvana. Besides that, simple fight

//Noel//

May cause you trouble since 3C requires you to be close and her Drive is unforgiving. So unless you want to be up close and personal, use the same method as fighting Tager

//Arakune//

The second the match starts don't move. I don't know if it's a recurring thing but every time the match starts he "underdashes" right behind you. So wait till he reappears to use the 3C method. If he starts floating around in the air, bring him down with 2C

//Litchi//

She will end your run if you try the 1st Method. However, I will say to use 3C to trip her at the beginning of the match, then once she's falling switch to the 2nd method. Use 214D until she's on the other side of the screen. And watch out for her Mantenbo. You definitely do not want her on or around that thing unless she's on the opposite end with it

//Jin//

You can't let this guy breathe. His swords are faster than yours and unless you want to straight up fight him, use the 3C method. Stick to him like glue. I watch for him to make the smallest move, then use 3C to counter him. Seriously, no fancy tricks. I do advise to watch out for his fancy new counter though.

//Lambda//

I personally choose to fight her…buuuuuuut for sake of this guide, avoid the 214D method period. It's much safer to attack her using the 3C method. One of the few things to watch for is her 2B (spinning kick thingy). If you're crouching, it knocks you from that position into the air, leaving you victim to sword spamming harassment. The other thing is the Calamity Sword (sword form the sky). It gives her temporary invincibility and implants a huge sword in your face.

//Tsubaki//

She might one of the few you'll actually have to fear for your life. You'll definitely want to keep your distance, but her attacks bring her in close to you, and fast too. If using the 214D Method, then don't add C. Treat her like Litchi

//Unlimited Hakumen//

=GLASS CANNON WARNING=

Hakumen is relentless. As soon as the match starts use 5C x8. I suggest mashing it while the announcer is still saying "Rebel" After that, keep him away with 214D. And do be careful of his counters and "Glowing Sword of Pain" attack. And if he's at the opposite end of the screen, use Lambda's Sword Barrage. You should be fine as long as you keep this up.

//Unlimited Hazama//

=GLASS CANNON WARNING=

He is worse than Hakumen in the sense that his Ouroboros won't quit. You want to make friends with farthest side of the screen possible. If you're in luck, it won't reach that far. You are bound to take some serious damage and it may take you a few matches to figure out how to go about this, so don't fret. You're definitely using the 214D method here. Just know when to charge for full range or not and you should be okay.

//Unlimited Ragna//

If you beat Hazama, then breathe easy because Ragna is nowhere as tough as he was in Calamity Trigger. Not to mention Hazama was much harder in Lambda's case.

You're going to have to be good at running away and then use 214D. Sword Barrage to tack on extra damage or if you need to keep Ragna at bay for a moment. Just watch out for his Carnage Scissors

//Unlimited Rachel//

I don't think she's difficult as much as George XIII and the lightning is. But of course, that's what makes her difficult, huh?

Her cannon shots cancel out your swords, which is never a good thing, and by the time you do, she's throwing a giant frog at you. However, there is hope.

Do your best to avoid George at all costs, but if not and you have an opening, use 214D to get rid of him. It takes 3 hits to do so. You can't do anything about her cannon fire so you'll have to either take the hit and risk the pain, or dash under them and slide into 3C. As for the lightning, you can block it with a Low Barrier Guard. I also play safe and block Rachel's "Barn Breeze" with Barrier Block as well. You can also interrupt the "Barn Breeze." With all the punishment you've probably taken, use Lambda's Sword Barrage

The 3C method worked best as long as you stopped her from summoning anything and fight her like you did Jin

=============================

And with that, victory should be yours and Unlimited Nu will be your prize. Hope this wasn't too long

-=Haku-men=-

Normally I don't play like this. :eek: but this does work up to Haku-men. Perhaps you're better at using Haku-men than I, so here is a decent strategy for those looking to get through the nightmare himself. If you're a trophy hunter who just wants their trophy than please continue to read. If you're looking for something more professional... than don't because it's not at all. This method is a cheap method that uses a little bit of spam to get you the desired trophy. I don't really condone it, but I'll allow it because it is frustrating at times and it might help those who aren't quite experienced.

4C

I am not very good at using Haku-men but still, he's an incredibly strong character. Those who do know how to use Haku-men at his best are pretty terrifying. Anyways... using his flashy new 4C attack is actually pretty nice, and hits from pretty far away. This attack nerfs all projectiles as well, and turns them into a dark void that the enemy will most likely run into while trying to get to you. You should have no problem up to Haku-men... and I would imagine you would have no problem after him, either. The issue lies in Haku-men liking to counter at horrible times, but if you get lucky enough you might be able to poke him to death. While you're poking away at his face, here are some things you should keep in mind...

Drive Button, be cautious

If you're good at countering using his Drive, it comes in handy as usual. Although it's hard to really counter with your Drive considering the enemy is pretty unpredictable, if you think you can do it, go for it... I wouldn't suggest it to cautious players because it's strange but it really feels like the enemy learns your moves sometimes. and knows just what to do after. Still, I have seen much better Haku-men's other than myself, if you know how to counter well, use it to your advantage.

Warning: The enemy Haku-men's Distortion Drive "Counter" will strike no matter what. Normally it would take you to hit him once to set it off while he uses it, but at least in my case no matter what I do when he uses this Distortion the white slash will hit you no matter what side of him you are on. Make sure once you see it go off, you're up in the air. When he uses it, you have a good small bit of time. Time this right and hop up in the air, because blocks I believe do not work against it. You could maybe even use that small opportunity to hit him if you're feeling brave, just make sure you time it right. I tried getting on the other side of him, and I tried blocking him It does not work. The time it takes for him to strike however, is not instant. Use it.

Projectile negation

His sword negates all projectiles and turns them into a dark void that hurts them when they run into it. I mentioned this before. This includes Jin's ice swords, Litchi's staff, and any of Lambda's swords including the move she uses to summon swords from the ground up. (They kind of look like spikes) It's incredibly useful when poking away at your enemy, and pretty ridiculous as well as somewhat funny.

6C

This is a move you should use if you're feeling lucky or you're good with Hakumen. Hakumen's 6C is a good stunner for when they land in front of you and does a massive amount of damage when charged. If you can anticipate where they will land, you can use this to your advantage and surely get two off before you go back to poking them in the eye with 4C. One fully charged 6C will provide you with enough time to get a short one off, so the damage is also ridiculous.

Haku-men's Distortion Drives.

The first distortion drive on the menu, is a stupid strong attack that will take near half health out of your opponent if you're close enough. The move can also be charged to do a ridiculous amount of damage, just make sure your sword hits them. It's not very great from far away, but like 6C if it's timed, than it's worth it and can be a life saver. Watch using this while fighting characters that can hit you from the distance. Every single time I was charging it on Lambda or Jin they would throw something at me to interrupt.

This drive like all others are best being led into a combo to guarantee the hit, but will do more if it's by itself. Hakumen's distortion counter is also useful, like I said if you know when to use it.

Conclusion...

For experimental purposes I've had no problem with anyone up to Haku-men himself using 4C, 6C, and his DDrive. In Hakumen's new arsenal there is actually another move that uses 1 megatama and is more like an evasive maneuver, but I suck at using him so if you're confident in your ability it's a good one. Haku-men is a truly terrifying character, but you can bring out the beast in him if you really learned. So please at least try to do that. If you can't, than do what you need to.

I forgot you unlock unlimited characters for beating this. I have unlimited Tager now lol. Unlimited Tsubaki would be awesome but that would be hard...

I'm actually working on a Tsubaki Score Attack run. But of course, Haku-men is proving difficult as always

LAMBDA-11's Score Attack a.k.a. "I'm such a Nu-13 fanboy I decided to earn her the hard way"

Thanks for posting this info. However against Hazama as Lamda I just can't escape his pressure. He's fast enough that even if I'm using a 214D he still hits me with Ouroboros, pressuring him with swords/C attacks doesn't work either as he has the advantage in close range. I guess I should be blocking more and rely on trying to counter him?

VS Hakumen after keeping him at bay with regular 214D it gets to the point where he is just on the far side of the screen, and he can't escape 214D~C. Gotta love the computer AI. If only this would work vs Hazama :p

Blocking only goes so far since you have to keep your Guard Primer in mind (Only 4 for Lambda I think, maybe 5) plus his Ouroboros hits even when you guard.

The 214D tactic works to a point. You just have to know when to charge for full. If you do 214D (no C), you can also switch to the 6DD combo string to catch him in the air.

Hope that helps

Alright!!!:dance: I completed Score Attack with Rachel Alucard. Of all characters, I never thought I'd would be able to do it with her abysmal proration and below average damage potential. It wasn't easy but I was able to do it despite the complications. Will I be able to post my guide for Rachel? I'll be more than happy to share my strategies and techniques for an incredibly nerfed character. But nonetheless, my main.

This will be my second post but first guide for PS3T, I normally don't post that often on forums lately so bear with me.

Rachel Alucard is a bit of a pain to defeat score attck with if not utilized correctly. This guide will help you complete Score Attack with fewer complications than usual. PLEASE use two controllers, there is no doubt in my mind that you will fail at least twice. Now, without further ado, lets begin:)

Basic Strategies

You'll find yourself fighting off-screen for the most part when playing as Rachel. On other occasions you will baiting attacks, but this isn't the case for the majority of the challenge. Your greatest asset will no doubt be her 236B/C>214C attack. However, if you happen if find yourself being pressured, with no second thought your gonna want to perform a well timed 2C or escape with 9D.Finally you might want to use her 632146+B when the situation calls for it. Your gonna want to use it when her silpheed gauge is at 4 to maximum damage or 3 to set up your BnBs.

The Tools at your Disposal

236C>(3D)>214C

Your primarily BnB for score attack and new best friend. Note that I included 3D in the moveset due to its usefulness. However your gonna want use it sparingly in case you want to execute TD distortion or to escape a nasty pressure. My advice is to conserve at least three gauges of silpheed and spam 236C all the way. Your pretty much going to camp on the opposite end of you opponent. If the distance between the CPU shortens, you'll find that 236B will be useful for fending them off until they retreat. The AI will usually remain defensive on the opposite side while you spam this move.

236A

DO NOT UNDERESTIMATE THIS MOVE! 236A works well as a poke tool than 5B. You want use it as soon as the round starts. Normally you opponent will approach you offensively with 5A as soon as the round starts, but unfortunately for them they will always be beaten out by it due to its low startup.

63216+B

You will find TD to be your only means of high damage. However, you'll have to conserve as much silpheed as you can. Conserve at least 3 gauges of silpheed. 4 gauges will summon King George which will deal good damage. 3 gauges summons pumpkin, launching them high into the air, setting up your actual BnBs. If timed correctly you can go into 6A BnB. You may use below 3 gauges if the situation calls for it.

9D

The reason why you want to conserve your wind is primarily for this evasive maneuver. If the distance closes between you and the CPU and in danger of pressure, immediately execute this before they get any closer. This will carry you on the opposite side. While being carried you might want to use 236B/C or 214C if you have any rod around. You will find yourself using against U. Hakumen the most.

2C

This is your second means of defense. Probably the only way to defeat Hakumen. It also helps against Noel's Drive effectively. Another way to use it is by baiting an attack and then using it. The downside of this move is the recovery if not timed correctly. Also you will be unable to use it when pressured by 5A, so use 9D instead. Nonetheless it's a superb move when dealing with those offensive types.

Character Guide

Bang

Bait his 3C by simply defending high. Act quickly because the AI doesn't take second thought when determining how to attack. If he retreats far enough, then spam 236C> 214D to ensure victory. Beware of his drive.

Taokaka

Tao loves to use "A" so it would be wise to use 2C. Begin as usual with 236A. Use the best of your abilities to counter her drive. Also use 6CD to get in close due to her evasive nature. Be prepare to use 236B/C as it's the only way to counter her 214214+C safely. Other than that she will fall for 632146+B and the match is pretty simple.

Tager

For the love of all that's kind and merciful, DON'T approach Tager:eek:. Before the match even begins, keep tapping back before he hits you with 5A. If you keep as far back as possible. Then you may safely use 236C>214C to your heart's content. You won't even need to execute 3D because of his enormous hitbox. Watch out for is his spark bolt. You can easily bait by tapping 2A once and immediately block the next moment. If you like to, you may gather as many rods as possible with 236C and use BBL knowing it will hit. Do this and victory is yours.

Carl

Carl is probably the only one you may have a little trouble with. Since Carl LOVES to use vivace, begin the match with 236A or 3C to be on the safe side. You might want to separate Carl from Nirvana and spam 3C or 6CD. However, Nirvana will constantly get in the way. Use this time wisely to disable her while keeping an eye out for Carl. Only use 632146+B when Nirvana is disabled or behind Carl to prevent her acting as a shield. Occasionally you might use 6A to cancel out Carl's j2C. Once you mastered the basic here, then the fight will be a cakewalk.

Noel

EASY! Just use 236A at the beginning of the round and spam 236B/C. If she ever gets close don't fret, just use 2C and she will fall for it every time with her Drive. I only warn you to watch out for Noel 236B/C, it turns out she's more accurate them the last game. Aside from this you will have no problems.

Arakune

Instead of using 236A, just let him dash and immediately use 5B to set up you BnBs. Keep him at bay with 236C>3D>214C and the match is pretty much straightforward.

Litchi

Her Mantenbo is a beast, so watch out for it. She will most likely counter you so keep your distance at the beginning. Try your best to keep away with 236C>3D>214C. If she gets close without her mantenbo, she will use three dragons as an alternate dragon punch method, instead bait with 2A and use 2C afterwards. Don't forget to use 632145+B when possible.

Jin

AN INCREDIBLE PUSHOVER you will not believe!! Keep your distance after beginning with 236A and use 236C>3D>214C over and over. he will try to counter it with blizzard and fail everytime (lol what a nubcake:nana:). Just watch out for his ice sword and the match is yours.

Lambda

Lambda can be tough if not fought correctly. As the match begins, use 3C instead. Approach cautiously and defend. Don't jump, otherwise you will be caught by her swords. The trick is to get in close, that's where 6CD comes into hand. Use it as much as you can to prevent her from backdashing in case you haven't noticed and proceed with any BnB you grown accustomed to. A word of warning, don't attempt any OTG attack that might allow her to aerial ukemi, or else she will escape. Keep this in mind and you will make quick work of Lambda.

Tsubaki

Not much to say to her than that she loves to use her dragon punch all the time. Don't have any advice that will make the match easier, even though she won't give you much trouble to begin with. Just watch out for 623A and punish with 236C>3D whenever you can.

U. Hakumen

One of the Fearsome 4. If you have a knack for using 2C and incredibly defensive, this is might be an easy fight for you. That's goes without saying that Hakumen is broken, can and WILL counter every move and above all really hard:mad:. Begin like usual with 236A, if done fast enough, he will try to dash into his firefly and get punish by the lobelia. Afterwards he will dash into you with either crimson or 3C. Just get the hell away from him. When he gets close enough use 2C at your discretion for its the only way you can defend from him. You will use 9D a lot in this fight so conserve at least 1 gauge. Don't try to take Hakumen head on otherwise he will counter you with his drive or special attacks. If Hakumen is on the otherside, spam 236C>3D>214C. Hakumen may negate your projectiles with earthbind, so be prepare for when that happens. Just remember to save one gauge of wind in case. One of the joys of being Rachel is that her Drive can easily carry her out of harm's way when Hakumen uses his DD that hits without countering, so if you have any wind left, USE IT and get behind him on the other side. Never use 2C when Hakumen is at poke distance. Keep using 236C>3D>214C and you just might win. Good Luck:).

U. Hazama

Hazama's Ouroboros is relentless. Make your way to the opposite side to avoid it and use 236C>3D>214C like usual. Remember to save at least one gauge of silpheed. If you jump low enough, you can bait his hungry coil and retaliate with 6CD. Just stay as far as possible from Hazama with 9D and the match maybe easier than you think.

U. Ragna

Thankfully, Ragna isn't anything like he was in CT so you needn't worry. Start with 236A and try to keep him on the defensive side with 236C>3D>214C. Watch out for his inferno divider and especially his CS. If he ever uses gauntlet hades, you can defend and immediately counter with a 5B BnB. Remember you have 9D if you ever need it. Ragna should be defeated before you know it.

U. Rachel

U. Rachel will be just as tough as Hakumen IMO. Since she shoots out three lobelias at once, chances are that it will block your 236C>3D and prevent you from approaching her. Watch out for sword iris. There's no other way to avoid them other than to defend. Even if you attempt to use 9D, the bolts will appear on the other side. My only advice to use her 6B pokes to prevent her 2C from hitting you. If george ever appears, use him to your advantage to build your heat gauge by instant blocking. Afterwards try to dispose of him and he won't appear for a while. If you feel like you done enough damage, you can punk out of fighting by using 9D and defending (that's how I won anyway). If you ever have enough for her DD then use it as long as you have enough wind despite how much you have.

Once again, PM me if you have any questions regarding specifics. Thank you!

First post so here goes...

*Note*

The below guide assumes that the player can use most of Ragna's BnBs effectively in game

Before we get into that...

Lower the number of rounds for versus to 1 and lower the time limit to 30 seconds. Get a second controller ready and be prepared to press start whenever you feel you're losing.

Here's the important part...

If your game has updated to version 1.01 you might want to switch it BACK TO VERSION 1.00

This is due to the fact that I suspect the patch made tweaks to unlimited Hakumen's AI, Tsubaki's AI, and so on.

Score Attack

The normal characters should be fairly easy. However I did find Tager slightly annoying with his 360 grab/720 DD.

Tager

Hit and run. Dont stay too close to Tager or he'll be spamming the hell out of his 360 grab, dealing 3k+ damage. What you want to do is to be approaching him using this combo:

j.C > B > C > 2C > 214A > 214D

Back away after that using an air dash, keeping distance. Don't be too hasty and choose your timing well before approaching with your j.C. This method is fairly safe and should steadily decrease Tager's health. Don't forget that if you have over 50 heat you should use your DD in the above combo.

e.g

j.C > B > C > Carnage Scissors

Unlimited Hakumen

He's a pain in the ass...on version 1.01. I played score atack on BBCS version 1.00, and had successfully reached unlimited Hazama without needing a second controller. However on BBCS version 1.01, I have not gotten past Hakumen after 10+ tries. Anyways with version 1.00 Hakumen is a lot easier, being almost no different from BBCT.

There's no real strategy here. Just be alert, approach him and unleash your combos. Hakumen will rarely counter your moves, and as long as you watch out for his magmatama moves you should be fine. You can start off the game with a 5B or 5C as he will usually start off with a magmatama move. Unlimited Hakumen is the easiest of the four.

Unlimited Hazama

This guy is hard. You don't really want to stay too close to Hazama as the ring will drain your HP. You can either start off the game with an Inferno Divider or a backstep/aerial backwards dash. Hazama will sometimes start off with...

214D > B (a kick move...forgot the name)

the move has invincibility frames so you'd want to be cautious with that throughout the match. More the reason to start off with Inferno Divider or to just back off. You'll also want to watch out for Jayoku Houtenjin, Hazama's kick DD.

Theres an AI exploit which will make this fight a lot easier. Hazama seems to have trouble (most of the time) blocking Hell's Fang. Very rarely will Hazama counter Hell's Fang. Use this exploit to steadily decrease unlimited Hazama's health. Make sure to reposition yourself while Hazama is recovering from the attack, and follow up with another Hell's Fang. This won't work throughout the whole round but should lower his health decently.

Use Carnage Scissors at a distance when Hazama is recovering from his attack animations. Try your best to dodge Hazama's Ouroboros chains as they help him close in distance. If he does get close, calm down and block his attacks. Use 5B or 5C when you see fit, and unleash your combos. Don't be afraid to use your barrier bursts when you feel pressured. Finally, DON'T BE HASTY. Hazama is the hardest of the four so be prepared for some losses.

Unlimited Ragna

Mirror match. Start off the game with an Inferno divider as 90% of the time unlimited Ragna will try to hit you as soon as the round starts with a 5B or 5C.

Continue to play passively and wait for Ragna to make his move.

Usually the AI will approach with either a random Inferno Divider, Gauntlet Hades, or Belial Edge. Stay under Ragna when he uses Inferno Divider, and start comboing as he lands on the ground. Guard when he uses Belial Edge and Guantlet Hades and punish him for his stupidity.

Make sure you don't Carnage Scissors when Ragna's not in any attack animation though, he'll Scissor you back. You might want to consider using your astral as unlimited Ragna can easily make comebacks at <30% health.

Unlimited Rachel

Fairly easy. Unlimited Rachel will almost always start off the round calling forth lightning, therefore you must always begin the round with Hell's Fang. This will interrupt Rachel's move and will result in a counter.

Continue to pummel Rachel with your combos while maintaining close distance. Attack her before she can do ANYTHING. Dash and chase after her if she escapes using Silpheed. Note that you will have a hard time if Rachel manages to gain space.

Hope this guide helped. :p
