Blazblue: Continuum Shift Trophy Guide & Road Map
I hope you enjoyed this guide and that it helped you to unlock your missing trophies, feel free to join us here at PS3T and be a part of the community. COPYRIGHT/RIGHTS OF USE: This guide may not be re-produced outside of PS3Trophies.org without written permission by the author(s). If given permission to use any information from the guide, please supply proper credits to its original poster. Overview:
Introduction: Welcome to Blazblue: Continuum Shift, the sequel to Blazblue: Calamity Trigger. For anyone who played the game, you knew there would be a sequel after watching the true ending in the last game's story mode. Continuum Shift follows up from that story and gives us 3 new characters (and a replacement): Tsubaki Yayoi, Hazama, and µ -12-. V -13- was replaced with Λ -11- due to reasons detailed in the story. Character styles have stayed the same; however, there have been changes in the capabilities of each character in different manners which you will soon notice when you play the game. Compared to the last game, Continuum Shift honestly looks a bit harder as you now have to collect ALL the gallery pictures, your online goal is now set to level 50 as opposed to the previous level 30, and now you have a challenge mode that all casual gamers fear in fighting games. Keep in mind that the tasks in these challenge modes can prove to be a bit challenging even to the Blazblue regulars, so this won't be a easy platinum for sure, unfortunately. Tutorial I highly recommend going through the Tutorial first. Veteran players from Calamity Trigger may already know the changes to the game, however it's better to understand it to the fullest extend now, as this will help you later in the game and when you go into Challenge mode. You will unlock the following trophy after you complete this step: At this point you have the choice to go into any of the following modes. There is no specific order you need to go in. Training Mode There isn't an trophy to net one million points of damage again, however we do have one for training for a straight hour. I would also recommend using this time to train with your character as well as the mode itself to practice move inputs for certain character trophies: Story Mode If you would like to find out what happens next in the story, this is definitely the mode for you. In the last game you were able to simply clear each character's story once and be done, however now you must go through multiple paths with each character to unlock gallery pictures for the "Mint Condition" as well as get the true ending for at least one character. For completing Story mode you should get the following trophies: Arcade Mode You don’t have to play everyone’s Arcade mode to unlock astrals anymore because they’re already unlocked, however you will need to play them all to get the illustrations for "Mint Condition”. Here are the possible trophies that can be earned specifically in Arcade mode: Versus Mode Versus mode is the perfect mode to get any character and in-battle miscellaneous trophies that you can, however you’ll probably get the in-battle trophies naturally. I recommend you have a second controller for doing this so you don’t have to worry about the enemy cpu attacking back; it may not be too much trouble with one, however there will be times where they can annoy you. Here is a list of the trophies that can easily be unlocked in Versus mode that would normally be a bit of trouble to do online or against opponents that are actually fighting back (these trophies can be done in any mode besides Training and Story mode): Legion Mode Legion mode can be described as a territory/invasion type of game. You’re given the option of difficulty before you start it and you can save at any point, so use your saves wisely. Be wary - you could face a whole team of Unlimited characters in Legion mode and on hard they aren’t exactly pushovers. The trophies aren't stackable so you'll have to play each difficulty seperatiely. You can earn the following trophies from this mode: Challenge Mode This could be the most difficult task, especially for inexperienced players, the most dreaded trophies of any fighting game ... a Challenge mode. In this mode you must perform whatever combos they give you with the instructions given. This mode is a blessing to fighting game fanatics, but not so much to those looking for easy trophies. You can earn the following trophy from Challenge mode: Score Attack Yes, the horrifying Score Attack mode is back and it comes with a trophy, however this time around you have 2 new fighters to look forward to. Like last time, you can save your progress by pressing on a second controller that’s plugged in, so if you were able to overcome Score Attack on the first game you should be able to do it again. The following can be unlocked through Score Attack:Network mode As opposed to the previous game's trophies, the online trophies here look a lot more time consuming and can be a hassle for those inexperienced with the game. This time you only have to play 100 ranked matches online instead of the 200 from the last game, however now you must reach level 50 online and there’s no way to boost level 50 (unless you have a turbo controller). If you need an online boosting partner, check here: Boosting Thread. There are many other trophies to unlock, you can earn the following trophies on though Network mode: Clean Up Step Use this step to go back and finish up anything you somehow didn’t naturally get from playing Arcade mode, Story mode and many online matches in the game. Also, if you didn’t complete the gallery, now is your time to do so. The following miscellaneous trophies that you might be expected to clean up are:

Blazblue Continuum Shift II Balance Patch Note:
There has been a "balance patch" to the game since release (available if you loaded the game sometime after May 2011) which has changed the way some characters play and other technicalities that is easy for fighting game fanatics to tell the difference between. With this balance patch challenge mode missions (usually just 5-10) have changed because of the patch however that doesnt mean your progress goes away or does it mean you can never play the challenges pre-balance patch ever again. If you ever feel that you just can't do the challenges for the BBCSII patch and wish to switch to BBCS pre-balance patch or vice versa here is what you can do; Go into your "Options" and select "System Options" there you will have the option to switch between System Versions: ![]()
An easy way to tell which version of the game you are using is when you enter character select in any mode. In the Continuum Shift II Patch (v.1.03) you will see Platinum on the bottom center of screen inbetween Makoto and Valkenhayn. ![]() However after switching between versions you will notice that she has disappeared from the character select screen which will easily indicate you are using the Pre-Continuum Shift II balance patch. If you go any lower with the versions it will only take away Valkenhayn and Makoto from character select which is not recommended at all. Additional Downloadable Content: Theres an easy setup to obtain all of the trophies with each of following DLC character. Go into your options and under game options have the following settings:
and then select the DLC character you want the trophy for. You pick whomever you want as the opposing character however i recommend Iron Tager because of his LARGE hitbox. At the start of the battle you will unlock the for that characters unlimited, taunt the CPU with for your 100% Heat bonus for taunting a CPU opponent and then lower his health to under 20% (unless you are using Platinum). You will know when you can use your astral when your character portrait near the health bar is flashing white. At this point simply input the moveset for that characters astral (or for Platinum the Trinitys case a regular distortion) and if it makes contact it should deal over 5k for the next trophy. Finally challenge mode is purely up to the player's capabilities.I highly recommend purchasing the DLC characters especially if you are having trouble getting the 100 challenges completed for "Superior State of Mind", the DLC characters give you an extra 21 challenges that could go towards it which is much better than pulling your hair out doing a challenge that would much harder for you. ![]()

Conclusion: Blazblue: Continuum Shift is definitely a long-awaited sequel to fans of the first game and is sure to spark more interest in the fighting game community in the U.S. The trophies look to be a bit rougher then the previous however they appear to be doable nonetheless Trophy Descriptions: This guide will show the directional pad and controller buttons under each description, however some players find it easier to read the numerical button format so i will be displaying the numerical moveset as well as the directional moveset from the controller in this guide 7 8 9![]() 4 5 6![]() 1 2 3![]() A= B= C= D= ![]() Any movesets described assumes you are on the left side of the screen. "Well, It's Something to Do..."![]() [Arcade / Score Attack] Hold your own against Unlimited Hazama. You can fight Unlimited Hazama as one of the last three opponents in Score Attack or at the end of everyone but Jin's and Hazama's Arcade mode. Get it in Arcade mode where you can set the difficulty to easy for an easy win. "Tall, Dark, and Handsome" ![]() [Arcade / Score Attack] Put Unlimited Ragna in his place You can fight Unlimited Ragna as the second to last opponent of Score Attack or at the end of Jin's and Hazama's Arcade mode. Get it in Arcade mode where you don't have to worry about rounds or difficulty. "Blood on Your Hands" ![]() [Score Attack] Defeat Unlimited Rachel. You can only fight Unlimited Rachel as your last opponent in Score Attack. Look under "Score!" for tips to beat her. "Level One...!" ![]() [Story] Watch "Previously on..." and "Opening" in Story Mode. Simply watch the introduction when you select Story Mode for the first time. You can skip this by pressing . however keep in mind that you will have to view it at some point for the gallery pictures for "Mint Condition" "That's the End of That Chapter" ![]() [Story] View any character's canon ending in Story Mode. In order to unlock the true ending for every character you must make certain decisions and win or lose certain matches among other criteria while going through the Story mode of that character. Go into your options and have the follow options set: Timer: ∞ Difficulty: Beginner You will probably get this doing Ragna's story mode so long as you pick the first option whenever given a decision and so long as you win all your fights. "Ragna Cum Laude" ![]() [Tutorial] Finish all your homework. For this trophy you only have to complete the following lessons in Tutorial mode:
"Napoleon Bonaparte" ![]() [Legion] Conquer the map on "Easy." Refer to "Genghis Khan" "Alexander the Great" ![]() [Legion] Conquer the map on "Normal." Refer to "Genghis Khan" "I'm on Top of the World!" ![]() [Player Match] Earn your first victory. Refer to "I Can Quit Any Time I Want!" "I Can Quit Any Time I Want!" ![]() [Player Match] Win more than 100 matches. The quickest way to boost is to have the following settings: Timer: 30 seconds Unlimited Characters: On Rounds to win: 1 Make sure one person picks Iron Tager and toggle beginner mode by pressing .The other person will pick Taokaka or Carl Clover, whomever has the least amount of health in the game. At the start of the match have Tager spam his Gigantic Tager grab with , two or three should kill the opponent and just repeat this for your 100 matches. You do NOT have to win these matches, the description is pretty misleading but you only have to play them. For a boosting partner, check here: Boosting Thread "Aniki Is Watching You" ![]() [Player Match] Observe more than 10 matches. When in a player match waiting for your turn to fight, the match currently taking place will count as a match watched. If you're in a hurry to get your trophy, just sit in a lobby and pass whenever it's your turn and wait for it to pop up. "Two Men Enter. One Man Leaves." ![]() [Ranked Match] Earn your first victory. Refer to "Only the Hard, Only the Strong" "I Get Around" ![]() Use every single character. There is a total of 14 characters you have to select from, just pick all of them at least once on the player 1 side for your trophy. List of characters:
"They Call Me MISTER Tiddles!" ![]() Use an Astral heat for the very first time. Refer to "Real Ultimate Power" "Real Ultimate Power" ![]() Used every character's Astral Heat. This time around you don't have to unlock the astrals through Arcade mode. To make the process faster, go into your options and have the following settings: Rounds to win : 1 (So you can use your astral on the first round) Timer: ∞ Whenever you pick your character, hit to turn on beginner mode. Go into the fight and weaken the opponent until they have under 20% health and let them hit you so you can have 100% Heat. Then, use the astral by holding . Keep in mind that some characters won't use their astral if they're still in the middle of their last attack animation. So, to avoid troubles like that, jump and hold whenever you're doing someone's astral (also keep in mind you don't have to use µ -12- for this). Some astrals are alot more complicated than that, so here's a list of what you can do to avoid problems in regards to using someone's astral Litchi: For hers you just need to get her on her bow stick which can be done by pressing to place the stick on the ground and then ![]() to place her on top of the bow. Then hold for the astral.Carl: With Carl you have to make sure you fill the gauge when Nirvana isn't performing any animations. Press once to active one of her random attacks and then start charging RIGHT when you see Nirvana about to power down.Bang: Double jump and after the second jump start holding down and he'll perform the astral before he hits the ground. "It'll Only Hurt for a Minute" ![]() Your first Guard Crush. The guard looks different from the previous game. Instead of a gauge below the timer, each character now has what is known as a Guard Primer which can be only be broken by using certain moves. Once all of the Guard Primers have been destroyed a guard crush occurs. Here's a preview of the new Guard Primer: ![]() I recommend using Ragna's 2D/ ![]() attack against any of the following characters who start with the lowest amount of Guard Primers:
"Don't Touch the Merchandise" ![]() Instant Block more than 20 times in one round. The easiest way to do this is by having control of the other player, whether it be through a second controller or a friend in a player match. Use whomever you want and have the other player use Λ -11-. Have Λ -11- attack at close range with 5C/ x8, and repeatedly press 1/ or 4/ while your blocking it to trigger easy Instant Blocks from the attack. "Hold On Loosely" ![]() Cause more than 30 Throw Reject Misses. A Throw Reject Miss is caused when an opponent inputs BC/ ![]() too early while getting hit and then gets grabbed himself so he can no longer escape the grab. Use Ragna against whomever, attack with 2A/![]() and at the same time you hit your opponent have your opponent input the grab command BC/![]() , then follow up from your attack with your own grab command, resulting in a Throw Reject Miss. "M.C. Hammer" ![]() Escape more than 5 throws in one round. To do this you need to tech yourself out of an opponent's grab by pressing the grab input (BC/ + ) when you see the exclamation mark over your character. Keep in mind that mashing other buttons beforehand will make it impossible to break out of the throw afterwards.

"You Broke My Heart!" ![]() Finish an opponent immediately after a normal Break Burst. Performing a Break Burst works the exact same way as Calamity Trigger's. However, there is now no negative penalty for using it. You get 2 per match, and the loser of each round gets access to his 2nd in the next round. Use Hazama against Iron Tager and get the opponent to only a sliver of health left, then stand next to him and press all the face buttons (ABCD/ ![]() ![]() ![]() ), and then follow up with 2D/![]() ![]() "Fatality" ![]() Land more than 30 Fatal Counters. A Fatal Counter occurs when you perform a specfic move with a character to counter an opponent's attack. Characters have many ways to use Fatal counters; however, the easiest way to get your 30 is by picking Bang and having the opponent be Jin. Have Jin start his 5D/ attack and then quickly use 3C/![]() before the attack hits you. This will result in a Fatal Counter, so simply repeat 30 times. "The Better Part of Valor" ![]() Do not take damage for 20 seconds while in Negative State, and win the round. For this you can not win just the match; it has to be the round. Before going into Versus mode set your options to the following settings: Rounds to win : 2 Timer: 45 Weaken the opponent and then start moving backwards and have the opponent slowly follow, this will trigger the negative state. Afterwards, just keep both characters there until the round times out. "Well, It's Not!" ![]() Using Ragna, land "Not Over Yet" more than three times during a match. To use Ragna's "Not Over Yet" you need to input 22C/ ![]() ![]() while the opponent is flat on the ground. First input 2D/![]() to hit your opponent into the right position and then proceed to use "Not Over Yet." "Ice-Ten" ![]() Using Jin, freeze your opponent more than 10 times during a match. To get this you can freeze your opponent using any form of Jin's Drive such as : (2,5, or 6+D)/( , , or + ). Make sure they all make contact when using them just to make sure they register. "Are You There God? It's Me, Noel" ![]() Using Noel, hit the opponent with her "Silencer" more than 10 times during a match. To use Noel's "Silencer" you need to first get your opponent on the ground so she can use it. Do this move set (3C > 22B repeatedly/ ![]() > ![]() ![]() repeatedly). This will get your opponent to the ground and then you can immediately follow up with a rapid fire silencer attack. "Twirling toward Freedom" ![]() Using Rachel, land a "6C" attack more than 30 times during a match. Simply put dash to the opponent and use 6C/ ![]() . The attack is very weak so you should be able to land all 30 hits in just one or two rounds against a character like Tager. "1.21 Gigawatts!" ![]() Using Tager, land "Spark Bolt" more than five times during a match. To use Spark Bolt you must enter the following move set: 41236+D/ ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() + whenever you have a full spark gauge which is displayed above his heat gauge. The gauge automatically has a slow recharge; however, you can use Voltic Charge to refill your gauge faster (421+B/![]() ![]() + ) Hold down B/ when it shows the animation to have Tager hold the charge for a couple seconds, refilling the gauge faster.Beginner Mode Method: + to charge your spark gauge and again when your gauge is full to shoot the Spark Bolt. "Taut Taunts" ![]() Using Taokaka, land 5 taunts over the course of a match. Unlike other characters, when Taokaka uses her taunt she does a bit of damage as well. Stand right next to your opponent and press . Do this 5 times in the match to unlock this trophy. "Four Sheets to the Wind" ![]() Using Litchi, land "Four Winds" more than 4 times during the course of a match. To use Four Wind, you must place the rod on the ground with D/ and then input 41236+D/![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() + . The rod will spin toward the opponent and hit them. Do this 4 times over the course of a match to unlock this trophy.Beginner Mode Method: Set the rod down with and then input + "BEES!" ![]() Using Arakune, unleash a 70-hit combo. To get an easy 70 hit combo, first use the grab with BC/ ![]() and then use 236236C/![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() + x2 and it should give you your 70 hit combo. Beginner Mode Method: Grab with and then start holding to charge your distortion. The distortion should release right after Arakune's grab finishes and during the first distortion, around the middle of it hold to ready the next one. "Loincloth Festival" ![]() Using Bang, land a total of 3 Astral Heats. Using Bang's Astral Finish now ends with him in his Loincloth. You can simply pick beginner mode and double jump and hold to use his astral before he lands. "The Clap" ![]() Using Carl, keep an opponent airborne for more than 7 seconds. This one is pretty difficulty for casual players. Choose Tager as your opponent and have him pushed back into the corner. Simply repeat 2C/ ![]() and 8D/![]() in a timely fashion on Tager which will have Carl hit Tager up toward Nirvana and have Nirvana clap in the air which rebounds Tager back toward Carl if done correctly. Alternative Method Go into your options and set Versus mode to two rounds with infinite time. Pick Tager as your opponent and purposely lose the first round, on the second round raise Carls heat to 100% and perform the following: Gold Burst > 632146C > 632146C > Gold Burst Gold Burst > ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() + > ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() + > Gold Burst After the second distortion quickly run up to Tager and burst again. "You're Already Dead" ![]() Using Hakumen, dish out over 10,000 damage in one combo. Press when you pick Hakumen to put him in beginner mode and pit him against Iron Tager. Get Tager into Negative and Danger status. To get him into Negative Status have him back away from Hakumen while Hakumen is slowly moving toward him - if it doesnt happen by the time Tagers at the Corner, have him jump over Hakumen and proceed to the other end. To get him into the danger status simply hold while guarding until his barrier gauge is empty and the word "danger" is shown within Tagers health bar.Once the two statuses have been met, place Hakumen right next to Tager and hold to use a fully charged Shippu distortion. If done correctly it should deal over 10,000 for your trophy.

"Lamb to the Slaughter" ![]() Using Lambda, land a 50-hit combo. The combo is nearly exactly the same as that in the last game, except luckily with a little less work. Take the opponent (preferably Tager) into the corner, back up, and use 236D/ ![]() ![]() ![]() x2 , dash forward and repeatedly hit C/ and it should give you your 50 hit combo (keep in mind this may take a slight amount of practice before it works).Beginner Mode Method: Hold to use the first distortion, while it's still going charge again for the second one and then dash toward Tager and rapidly hit for the 50 hits. "For Great Justice" ![]() Using Tsubaki, use the "D" version of every single special attack in a combo. This is one of the harder trophies to unlock and should be practiced numerous times in Training mode before attempting to unlock it. Go against Iron Tager and have him pummel you until you have a sliver of health left so your heat gauge can fill itself up. Whenever your heat gauge hits 50% hold D/ to charge your meter to 5.This combo only works under the Pre-Blazblue Continuum Shift II Balance Patch ver.1.02, you can switch System Versions under Options and System Options 214214D > 236D > 214D > 22D > 623D > j.236D > j.214D / ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() > ![]() ![]() ![]() > ![]() ![]() ![]() > ![]() ![]() > ![]() ![]() ![]() > ![]() ![]() ![]() > ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Alternative Method: (In Corner) 214214D > 623D > j.236D > j.214D > 236D > 214D > 22D [Note: You want to delay your input of 22D] ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() > ![]() ![]() ![]() > ![]() ![]() ![]() > ![]() ![]() ![]() > ![]() ![]() ![]() > ![]() ![]() ![]() > ![]() ![]() > ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() (Video credit goes to Tauntloop from youtube) "Beachball!" ![]() Using Hazama, keep an opponent airborne for more than 7 seconds. You think there would be some long combo involved in this; however, fortunately for us there isn't! When choosing Hazama, hit to turn on Beginner mode. Once in the battle, raise his heat guage to 100% and lower your opponents health to 20% or less and jump and hold , you should land into Hazamas Astral Finish. The animation for the astral counts as keeping the opponent in the air for more than 7 seconds. "Murakumo, AWAKEN!" ![]() Select Mu. To select Mu you must first complete story mode or purchase her from the marketplace (whichever you prefer depending on how soon you want her). Once you select Mu, this trophy will pop up. "Superior State of Mind" ![]() [Challenge] Beat more than 100 challenges. There are 10 challenges per character and 15 characters (and 3 DLC characters) in the game, which mean you can complete 100/150 (180 with DLC) possible challenges. Keep in mind, though, the challenges are still hard regardless and require alot of time and patience. Please refer to this thread for specfic challenges you may be having trouble on: Challenge Mode Help Thread Tips:
There has been a "balance patch" to the game since release (available if you loaded the game sometime after May 2011) which has changed the way some characters play and other technicalities that is easy for fighting game fanatics to tell the difference between. With this balance patch challenge mode missions (usually just 5-10) have changed because of the patch however that doesnt mean your progress goes away or does it mean you can never play the challenges pre-balance patch ever again. If you ever feel that you just can't do the challenges for the BBCSII patch and wish to switch to BBCS pre-balance patch or vice versa here is what you can do; Go into your "Options" and select "System Options" there you will have the option to switch between System Versions:
"Genghis Khan" ![]() [Legion] Conquer the map on "Hard." Legion mode is a new mode in Continuum Shift that has a bit of a command and conquer feeling to it. You choose a character and in every panel you win you get to recruit one of the characters that you fought. Any damage in battle is carried over to the next fight so you can imagine the difficulty in this. The difficulty trophies do NOT stack; you must beat each individual difficulty one at a time. Tips:
"Only the Hard, Only the Strong" ![]() [Ranked Match] Fight more than 100 battles. Much like the 100 trials trophy in the last game, you only have to play 100 full ranked matches for this trophy, win or lose. I advise trying to win though to help you with your "Ding Ding!" trophy Last edited by Setsuna; 06-02-2011 at 08:36 PM. Reason: Editorial Sweep |

"Mint Condition" ![]() [Gallery] Collect all of the...collectibles. For this you must collect all of the items in the gallery which isn't as easy as it sounds. To collect everything you'll have to
Here are the answers to the Help Me Miss Litchi questions: Teach me Miss Litchi Answers WARNING: Make sure you let your system go back to the title screen and save after you get your trophies, otherwise your gallery pictures won't save and you'll be confused as to which trophy you need to perform again for your missing gallery picture(s). If you ever do find yourself in this situation where you have practically all the trophies but are missing a couple Special CG images please refer to the following link for how to unlock them: Gallery (Special Illustrations Only) (Credit for the CG guide goes to karlodood of Gamespot/gamefaqs forums) Secret Trophies![]() Is...Is That All? ![]() [Story] Unlocked the True Ending in Story mode. To unlock the true ending you have to unlock the canon ending for the following characters:
I Can Do This All Night ![]() [Training] Practiced for over one hour straight. For this you can just go into Training mode and train inputing movement for 1 hour, after the hour you just have to make contact with your opponent and the trophy will unlock; idle movement won't count. If you have a turbo controller of some sort you can also set the turbo one something such as 6D/ on your character (using a rubber band or something of the sort to hold down the direction button) and make sure the move is making contact with the opponent, leave and come back to a trophy. To be on the safe side and because the D-code level isn't boostable like it was in the last game (unless you have turbo controllers), I would advise the training to improve your game a bit.Training Tips:
There Can Be Only One ![]() [Network] Fought against every character. For this you must have fought against every character, win or lose. You will probably get this doing your 100 ranked matches or while you're aiming for your level 50. If you somehow don't have it by then, you can always boost it in a player match. For a boosting partner, check here: Boosting Thread Rear Window ![]() [Replay Theater] Watched replays of more than 20 different matches. You can go into the online leaderboards and download at least 1 video or save your own replay from an online match, then proceed to watch it in the replay theater. You can rewatch the same video all 20 times for your trophy. Also note that you can start up the video and then back out of it to save time and it will still count towards your "watched" replays. Ding! ![]() [Network] Reached D-code level 25. Refer to "Ding Ding!" Hell Yes ![]() [Arcade] Completed Arcade Mode on "Hell" difficulty setting. Just like the last game, simply play through Arcade mode on the hardest difficulty known as Hell. Have your options set to the following: Difficulty: Hell Timer: ∞ Rounds to win: 1 If you so happen to lose, you can always press and continue where you left off. I recommend playing through this with a character you are familiar with; however, if you are new to the game then trying Jin Kisaragi and spamming his iceboard attack may prove helpful. Beginner mode may also help as well. Refer to the link under "Score!" and use the same strategy if you are having trouble. Ding Ding! ![]() [Network] Reached D-code level 50. Last game we had to level ourselves up to level 30 which was a pretty hard feat for some, however this time around it's level 50 now and you CANNOT boost it like in Calamity Trigger (unless you want to boost it with turbo controllers). Matches are done like quick match, it will randomly give you an opponent so you can't pick and choose who you fight. So I recommend getting better with your character for this. The higher level your opponent ,the more points you will get. Also keep in mind that the following factors (same as the last game) in each match will give you a couple of bonus points:
Score! ![]() [Score Attack] Beat Score Attack mode. What makes Score Attack harder this time around is that you can no longer abuse easy specials, which means you will have to go through it knowing the character's moveset. If necessary, you can use beginner mode to help you out a bit. Having a second controller is highly recommended, as you can save yourself when you're about to lose by pressing start. However, have these options set on versus beforehand to help: Rounds to win: 1 Timer: 30 Whenever you save yourself with the second controller with these options you'll only have to beat up your second controller for 1 round which will save you alot of time. If you want various methods on how to beat score attack please follow this guide: Score Attack Strategy Guide All Good Things ![]() [Story] Finished the True Ending in Story mode. During the True Ending, you'll follow a number of events much like the last game. If you were interested in the story of the last game, then I HIGHLY advise you pay attention to what happens in this game. However, if you're only interested in the achievement, then you can skip all the dialog and fight through all the battles. There is a total of 5 battles in the True Ending. You can have your options set to Beginner in the options to make it easier on yourself. All Others Are #2 or Lower ![]() Shifted the Continuum! Congratulations you have earned every trophy in Blazblue: Continuum Shift , now go ... go and brag to the world how pro you are. Last edited by Setsuna; 06-24-2011 at 02:30 AM. ![]() Fur and Loathing in Kagutsuchi![]() Dealt over 5,000 damage in a single combo using this character. The easiest way to do this is the simply do her astral finish which does well over 5,000 points of damage (about 6,601 to be exact). When you meet the Astral requirements you can input her astral which is 2363214+D/ ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() + or if you decide to go the easy route with beginner mode simply hold right in front of them. I Gnu It Was Ewe ![]() Beat over 7 missions in Challenge mode using this character. This may sound difficult, but Makoto's challenges actually aren't that hard in comparison to the other characters in the game. Just have patience and slowly complete her challenges one by one. 1-7 are the easiest to complete from the 10 given to you. Also, for some of the later challenges, you may want to note that you have to hold D/ for any moves that say it's delayable until the charge meter that appears above the heat gauge hits level 3. Oh Nuts![]() Used the Unlimited version of this character. The unlimited version of Makoto is included in the DLC so you do NOT have to beat Score Attack with her. Simply go into Versus and trigger unlimited mode by pressing before selecting her. The trophy should unlock at the beginning of the match.![]() Battle Butler ![]() Dealt over 5,000 damage in a single combo using Valkenhayn. The easiest way to do this is to simply do his astral finish which does well over 5,000 points of damage. When you meet the Astral requirements you can input his astral which is 214214C/ ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() + or if you decide to go the easy route with beginner mode simply hold right in front of them. Three Wolf Moon ![]() Used the Unlimited version of Valkenhayn. The unlimited version of Valkenhayn is included in the DLC so you do NOT have to beat Score Attack with him. Simply go into Versus and trigger unlimited mode by pressing before selecting him. The trophy should unlock at the beginning of the match. On Her Ladyship's Secret Service ![]() Beat over 7 missions in Challenge mode using Valkenhayn. Much like the previous DLC character Makoto, Valkenhayn's challenges aren't that difficult at all. Keep in mind that during the later challenges when you have to use his drive werewolf with D/ there's a bit of specific timing involved. If you're still having problems just follow the tips under "Superior State of Mind" Here is a preview of Valkenhayn's Challenges: For Whom the Bell Tolls ![]() Dealt over 5,000 damage in a single combo using Platinum. Unlike the previous DLC characters you cannot get this trophy easily by performing her astral finish, you must do an actual combo. One of the easiest combos to do requires 50% and for the next weapon in Platinums weapons to be the missile. Here's how you want to setup the fight.
and then select Platinum the Trinity. At the start of the battle if you are facing a CPU opponent you can press to taunt them for 100% heat, if you have another controller on take it and tap on it multiple times and Instant Block them with Platinum to build meter. At this point you can use either of her two distortions:-
By the Power of Trinity... ![]() Beat over 7 missions in Challenge mode using Platinum. Platinums Challange mode missions are fairly easy and pretty straightforward, the only heads up you should know is that her 22C/ ![]() ![]() follow up needs to be inputted RIGHT away for it to connect so if you notice that its not connecting it just means you need to do it faster. Heres a preview of Platinum's last few difficult challenges:(Video credit goes to Tauntloop from youtube) With Our Powers Combined! ![]() Used the Unlimited version of Platinum. The unlimited version of Platinum is included in the DLC so you do NOT have to beat Score Attack with her. Simply go into Versus and trigger unlimited mode by pressing before selecting her. The trophy should unlock at the beginning of the match.

I think it'd be more than enough, unless you're planning to put movelist and combos of every character o,o.
Anyways came to ask, is hard lower than hell. Or is hard the new HELL mode? (or am I thinking too much and you just ment the hardest difficulty) (stupid question I know but I blame nobody but myself X) ) EDIT: also mu-12 and noel :3 |

everybody counters everything I do.(Hakumen, Tager, and Jin with his stupid invincibility) It's like playing chess against the computer lol, oh well. And if anything if you run out of space you can post it in my post or I'll delete mine and you can edit your response. EDIT: yay edits! Anyways, are you up for a little boosting in CT XD. My friend let me borrow BlazBlue for the ps3(has 360 version) and I'm trying to get the trophies for them before CS comes out and nobody is on in the booster thread today.
