Platinum Difficulty Rating

not looking forward to this one. Im 36% done and about to head into survivor mode. Hopefully with the right guide its not too hard.

I'll say 7. Survivor difficulty was a BEAST at some places, especially the Big Daddy fights before you get some better equipment and plasmids. Once i was able to U-Invent, especially Electric Gel, they didn't stand a chance.
A word to other''s though: This game is probably best expirienced if you take a normal playthru first, without worrying about the trophies. I didn't which I kinda regret. Shouldn't have been in such a hurry.

If you ask me, Vita-chambers, should always be turned off. Silly mechanic, which make encounters go over, sooner or later

I'm still struggling on survivor with this one, I realise it'll get easier after the first few levels but if you can't get through them then its all academic really! *hangs head in shame*

First two big daddies = pain in the ass.
The first one i killed using glitch where he is stuck somehow and making a dust around him. Near the first turret in Medical Pavilion.
The second one i tried so many times i just hate it. Telekinesis and grabing his mines, shotgunned all my ammo on him, and hiding behind some wood so he would attack a wall.
Rest of a Survivor playthrough is suprisily easy and very fun - i was using a wrench all the time on splicers because IMO it's very powerful after getting every bonuses from big daddies and tonics that power it up - 2 whacks and splicer is dead.

I gave it a six. Survivor can be pretty tough if you don't know what to do. I'll give you a tip: it's all about the wrench. Buff it up with tonics 'til you can't buff it no more. :P

it wasn't hard to plat. hardest mode with no vita, just took alots of save which wasn't a problem. it was only difficult in first 2 level just for killing big daddy. but once i got the camera and upgraded shotgun and gernade launcher, the game became very easy.

i give it a 5

If you will not engage first 2 bid daddies its 5/10, DLC is WHOLE DIFFRENT STORY AND ITS 9/10

Im giving this one a 6. Just got the platinum a few minutes ago. Survivor mode was actually really fun! The beginning of the game on survivor was very hard but it gets easier as you go. The big turning points for me were when I got the shotgun and then the crossbow. After fort frolic I was strong enough to take on big daddies without too much trouble at all.

The only trophies that are a serious challenge are the 2 for survivor mode. The rest are gotten pretty easily as long as you pay attention to what you are doing. I think 6 is a fair rating but somebody who is new to shooting games in general would definitely have a hard time. This is an extremely awesome game though! I would recommend this game to anybody who hasn't played it before.

I gave it an 7. I thought that survivor was extremley hard at some parts of the game. Like the two first big daddies but when i progressed it got easier, but it still was hard. Also i didn't mind playing this game 3 and a half times seeing as it's one of my favorite games of this generation. The rest of the trophies wern't so hard.
